Chapter 88 Kidnapped
The familiar voice took Mu Yu by surprise. “Y-You are…”

Before she could utter the words ‘Yan Xiaobing’, she felt a stabbing pain behind her and lost consciousness.

The time she awoke, she realized that her hands and feet were bound, and she was lying on a bed in a room.

The curtains and doors of the room which was furnished in a simple manner were shut tightly. With the lights on, the clock on the wall showed that it was already twelve o’clock. However, as she did not know how long she was out cold, she could not tell whether it was twelve in the afternoon or midnight.

She shook her head. Then, Yan Xiaobing’s cold voice rang in her ear. She panicked for a moment and secretly regretted letting her guard down after the Qin Family managed to avert a crisis.

She knew that there was no use regretting it now. Hence, she forced herself to remain calm and cocked her ears to listen carefully. She could not hear a single man-made sound outside, but only the sound of rain beating against the window.

Her anxiety went up a notch when she recalled that whenever the weather took a sudden change, Yan Xiaobing could not control his emotions and harm others. He was definitely outside the room at this moment. In the next second, he might bring a knife and try to harm her. After all, in his eyes, she was one of the many enemies that he had.

For now, she wasn’t sure whether Qin Jinhuan and the rest of them knew that she was being kidnapped by Yan Xiaobing. Hence, she could not pin her hopes on them to rescue her. She needed to find a way to escape before Yan Xiaobing entered this room.

After calming herself down, she lowered her head and saw that her feet were bound by a type of rope that would get tighter the more you pulled against it. Then, she looked up and scanned her surroundings. She was disappointed as she could not find a single sharp tool to cut the rope. Nonetheless, she wasn’t resigned to her fate.

She turned her head and saw that there were bedside cabinets at both sides of the bed. In that instant, the bedside cabinets got her hopes up. The room that she was in now was obviously an ordinary bedroom. Usually, regular folks would put articles in the drawers of the bedside cabinet such as a pair of scissors, nail clipper or a small knife and the likes.

Because her hands were tied behind her back, she had to struggle for a while to get down from the bed. Then, she knelt on the floor and pulled open the drawer with some difficulty.

There really was a pair of scissors inside there!

Not only that, the scissors were as big as her palm.

Although the blades were a little rusty, she couldn’t suppress her delight and quickly grabbed the scissors by leaning her body toward it. Then, she tried her best to adjust the way she was grabbing the scissors in order to cut the rope on her wrist.

Yan Xiaobing ignored her as he was dragging her into the hall and threw her onto the sofa. Then, he picked up the mobile phone, which was resting on the coffee table, and made a call.

Mu Yu looked at him in shock.

“Talk!”

“What?”

She then realized that Yan Xiaobing had already placed the phone beside her ear. Instinctively, she wanted to turn her head to see whether it was Qin Jinhuan’s number. However, he grabbed her hair as he bellowed sternly, “Talk!”

“Ouch!”

“Mu Yu? Is that you?”

It was Rong Jian’s anxious voice.

She quickly replied, “Chief Rong, it’s me.”

Unexpectedly, the person that Yan Xiaobing called was Rong Jian.
