In fact, everyone in An City knows about this! No matter how big of a jerk I am, you can’t change the fact that I’m your biological father! A person who can even frame his own father is an impudent and ungrateful creature—you’re even worse than pigs and dogs! How unfilial…”

Dong Yueyun hurriedly spoke up. “Don’t get so worked up, Wentao. We’re here to reason with Huan, not to—”

However, Qin Wentao ignored her and continued to look at Qin Jinhuan as he swore, “Such a person has no conscience and is guilty of the most heinous crimes! God is always watching whatever you are doing. You’ll incur God’s wrath by being so cruel, ruthless, and inhumane! Are you trying—”

Mu Yu could no longer listen to Qin Wentao, though. She interrupted him and asked in reply, “You keep on saying that Huan has framed both of you, but do you have any evidence to prove that?”

Qin Wentao was suddenly lost for words before he became even more furious. He then bellowed, “Would I have to come here and argue with him if I have the evidence? I would’ve proved my innocence to my old man directly!”

“Your name can be cleared if you can prove that you two have nothing to do with my car accident.”

“We can’t assert our innocence in this matter,” Dong Yueyun responded bitterly. “I don’t know what has gotten into Wanqing, but she’s saying that we were the ones who incited her to do this! This is really impossible!”

Mu Yu was surprised. “Is that so? Did she really say that you two were the ones who incited her to do it?”

“Yes, she did!” Dong Yueyun gave a long sigh before looking at Mu Yu with a pained expression. “You’re our daughter-in-law, Yu, and that makes us family. We’re a family with a strong bond. The baby in your womb was our grandson and the Qin Family’s descendant, so why would you think we’d do such a heinous thing?”

Qin Wentao didn’t give a damn about Mu Yu’s anger, though. He continued nonchalantly, “I’m only telling the truth, so you don’t have to be shamed into anger.”

“You! You—” Mu Yu was angered. Just as she was about to show him the door, Qin Jinhuan uttered first, “Get out of here.”

Dong Yueyun didn’t expect that Qin Wentao’s remarks would make Mu Yu so indignant, so she immediately explained with an apologetic smile and said, “You’ve misunderstood what your dad meant, Yu. He wasn’t blaspheming the police. He was only discussing this on its own—”
