Warrior's Promise Novel - Chapter 1943
Chapter 1943: Exchange
Jin Yang’s face was as cold as a steel board. Upon hearing Yin Shen’s words, he lightly replied, “Tribe Leader may decide everything!”
He did not dare to express much of his opinion regarding the matter as he knew that Leng Xie was too important to Sun Moon Tribe.
As such, he wouldn’t disregard Leng Xie for Yun Youyou, as Yin Shen would definitely see Leng Xie as the more important one of the two.
Jin Yang could only sigh deeply. He could not have imagined that Su Mo would capture Leng Xie.
Originally, he had secretly been investigating Su Mo’s whereabouts, although he had failed to find out where Su Mo was.
“Mm!” Yin Shen nodded his head slightly. Since Jin Yang did not have any other opinion, he could proceed with his plan.
After a long moment of pondering, he raised his hand and shushed the crowd in the hall.
“Everyone may go!” Yin Shen waved his hand dismissively.
“This…!” Many people looked at Yin Shen with confusion. How would the leaders resolve the problem? Su Mo was acting so arrogantly, he was seeking his own death by offending the Sun Moon Tribe!
“Tribe Leader, Su Mo is too arrogant, we cannot let him do as he pleases anymore!” Yin Wudao cupped his fists and persuaded Yin Shen with a deep voice.
“I will decide on what to do. A mere ant dares to act so outrageously, we must finish him!” Yin Shen nodded his head and waved his hand dismissively again.
The Martial Sages in the hall nodded their heads and acknowledged Yin Shen’s order. Since the tribe leader could not tolerate Su Mo either, they did not have to worry about the matter.
“We will take our leave!”
With that, the crowd left the hall.
In the end, only Yin Shen and Jin Yang were left in the hall.
“Jin Yang, how confident are you in controlling the pure yin energy?” Yin Shen sighed as he asked lightly.
He and Jin Yang knew each other from young in the Sun Moon Tribe. They had handled matters of the tribe for a few thousand years and he knew Jin Yang’s opinion well.
Yin Shen knew that Jin Yang wanted to reach the Second Stage of the Empty God Realm as fast as possible. However, his talents limited him and he had been stuck at the First Stage of the Empty God Realm for a very long time.
Once a martial artists reached the Empty God Realm, many resources and treasures were pretty much useless to raise the cultivation rank. Everything counted on one’s talents and potential.
However, Jin Yang’s potential was almost fully reached.
That was until Yun Youyou appeared and Jin Yang reached the turning point, an opportunity to break through to the Second Stage of the Empty God Realm.
Yin Shen knew all these facts very certainly, and he didn’t raise them in the past as it was completely beneficial for the tribe.
“About 70%!” Jin Yang said in a low voice. He could not hide his intentions from Yin Shen and hence he didn’t do so.
“70%?” Yin Shen nodded his head slightly. This possibility was already pretty high. After all, no one had absolute confidence in being able to break through their cultivation rank when they reached the Empty God Realm.
“Will you be able to do so within 100 years?” Yin Shen asked again. It wasn’t easy to rely on Yun Youyou’s Pure Yin Body’s Origin Yin energy to break through the Second Stage of the Empty God Realm. Yun Youyou’s cultivation rank had to be raised further.
That was the only way for the Origin Yin energy in the Pure Yin Body to be strong enough.
Otherwise, it would be ineffective for Jin Yang, an Empty God.
“Perhaps another 50 to 60 years will do!” Jin Yang shook his head. He was very patient and could continue waiting.
50 to 60 years of time was virtually a blink of an eye for him.
Granted, he could act earlier, but the chances of success would be lowered.
The cultivation rank of Yun Youyou would decide the possibility of him breaking through the Second Stage of the Empty God Realm.
For instance, if Yun Youyou was an Initial Stage Martial Sage, his chances of breaking through would be 10%.
However, if she was a Middle Realm Martial Sage, the chances would increase to 30%.
If Yun Youyou was an End Realm Martial Sage, the chances would be up to 50%!
For a King Sage who was in the Grand Completion Realm of the Martial Sage Realm, the chances would be up to 70%.
If Yun Youyou was an Empty God like him, breaking through to the Second Stage Empty God Realm was almost 90% guaranteed.
However, it was too hard for Yun Youyou to become an Empty God martial artist! Time would also be required for that.
As such, Grand Elder Jin Yang was not going to wait until that happened. As patient as he was, he would only wait until Yun Youyou became a King Sage. That was the limit of his patience.
While reaching the King Sage Realm was hard, Jin Yang was confident that Yun Youyou would only need 50-60 years to become a King Sage under his careful guidance.
Yin Shen nodded his head silently. Since Jin Yang had his own plans, he would question the Grand Elder further.
As his voice deepened, Yin Shen said, “Jin Yang, lets bring Yun Youyou to Star Tian Xiang!”
Although he had no intention of giving Yun Youyou to Su Mo in the exchange, he had to bring Yun Youyou along in case Su Mo played any tricks.
Jin Yang also understood Yin Shen’s intentions as he nodded his head, “Youyou is in a spatial device on me, we can go now!”
With that, the two swiftly left Sun Moon Tribe and headed for Star Tian Xiang.
…
Star Tian Xiang was a small star that was only about 10% the size of Sun Moon Star.
A long mountain range lined the star and Elder Zhen Yue sat down cross legged on a mountain peak that was 10,000 feet tall.
Granted, the Spiritual Soul of the elder was already gone. Elder Zhen Yue was now a mere avatar of Su Mo.
“They should be here soon, right?” Elder Zhen Yue muttered to himself. The Sun Moon Tribesmen should be arriving soon according to his predictions.
While they did not arrange a meeting place, Star Tian Xiang was very small and the moment the Sun Moon Tribe members arrived, Su Mo would be able to sense them.
The avatar continued waiting, his heart anxious. He could not take the matter as a joke.
This was actually Su Mo being anxious. He wasn’t afraid of the safety of the avatar but he was concerned about whether he could successfully rescue Qingxuan.
Success or failure would come down to this one move.
After a long while, a flash of light crossed the avatar’s eyes and he whipped his head upwards to the sky.
Space vibrated slightly in the upper atmosphere as two figures approached the star.
Those 2 figures were Yin Shen and Yun Youyou.
“Su Mo, I am here personally for the exchange!” Yin Shen expressionlessly said as he stared with dagger-like eyes at the avatar.
“You are… you are Brother Su Mo?” Yun Youyou wore a blue, long dress. Her face was pale and a complicated mix of emotions was held in her eyes as she scanned the avatar.
“Qingxuan, it is me!” The avatar nodded his head. Su Mo heaved a sigh of relief knowing that Yun Youyou was unharmed.
However, Yun Youyou’s cultivation rank had reached the Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm and that was a great achievement.
“Tribe Leader, are you the only one who came?” The avatar stared at Yin Shen and then scanned the surroundings. Everything was calm around him and there did not appear to be any figure.
He was mildly surprised that Yin Shen was the only one who came. However, Su Mo was on guard as he didn’t know whether an expert would be lying in ambush around him.
Furthermore, as the master of Yun Youyou, Jin Yang actually didn’t come?
Su Mo was highly doubtful and he suspected strongly that the Grand Elder was hiding nearby.
