The Indifferent Young Master’s Flash Marriage - Chapter 241
Chapter 241: The Opening of The Auction
Master Lei said he would help her pay?
There were little tears in Su Yurou’s beautiful eyes. She dug her fingers into her own palms but did not feel any pain.
After struggling for a while, Su Yurou finally turned around slowly with an innocent and pure smile.
“Master Lei, how would you want me to pay back such a big amount of money? I’m afraid I can’t afford to…”
Master Lei was a cruel man and a tyrant when it came to that aspect. Su Yurou heard that many young ladies, even men, had been tortured badly by Master Lei.
Su Yurou cherished her body. At the thought of the trouble she might be getting into, she was afraid and couldn’t stay calm.
If she knew earlier that her self-willed gesture would lead her to give in to a man who was old enough to be her father and who was a sadist…
She wouldn’t have splashed that glass of red wine!
Master Lei hooked his fingers and opened his mouth, exposing his golden tooth as he said, “Ms. Su, you’re standing too far away. Come closer.”
Su Yurou gritted her teeth. She put on a smile she felt was gentle and harmless as she walked toward Master Lei.
“Master Lei. Since my body is weak, I hope you’ll have pity on me and protect me.”
Master Lei was satisfied with Su Yurou’s alertness and smartness in taking note of the situation. He stretched his arm and his wrinkled hand pulled Su Yurou into his embrace.
“Don’t worry. I’m best at having pity and protecting people, so I won’t force you. I’ll pay for you and you’ll accompany me for two months. What do you say?”
Two months…
If Su Yurou had any other choice, she wouldn’t even be around this old man for half a second.
Su Yurou tugged at the corners of her mouth and tried to squeeze a smile on her face. “Alright, please take care of me these two months.”
Master Lei craned his neck to sniff the fragrance on Su Yurou’s neck. His eyes were confused.
“Mmm, it’s such a nice smell. Did you put on perfume?”
When the old man with a large head and big ears came near her, Su Yurou was afraid she would throw up everything she had eaten for lunch.
She forced herself to suppress her churning stomach and threw Master Lei an innocent look. “It’s a mild floral perfume by Dior. If you like it, I can give you a bottle.”
Master Lei pinched Su Yurou’s face forcefully. “You can really joke. How would a man like me need this? Just use if on yourself.”
“As long as you’re happy, I’ll use this perfume for the upcoming two months.”
Su Yurou forced a smile on her face.
However, Master Lei seemed not to have noticed Su Yurou’s discomfort. He laughed, put his arm around her shoulder, and walked toward the lounge on the second floor.
Master Lei had come into contact with Su Jian Kai previously. At that time, he was interested in Su Jiankai’s daughter. Unfortunately, the Su family was quite influential at that time and he put his idea aside.
Now was a good timing. How could he miss it?

On the other side, Jiang Xuecheng and Su Wan arrived at the topmost floor of the cruise ship. Both of them had just gotten rid of Sheng An’ning and were being led by a waiter toward their luxurious private room.
The private room was not big but the interior decoration was magnificent.
Su Wan was not interested at the furnishing of the room. Her gaze landed directly on the tea table covered with a silk tablecloth and she was attracted to the various treats on the table.
Jiang Xuecheng followed Su Wan’s fond gaze. He smilingly passed her a small box of hazelnut cakes from the table.
“Haven’t you eaten just now? Why are you still hungry?”
Su Wan took over the hazelnut cakes and smiled with satisfaction. “I’m not hungry, I’m just fond of food.”
While Su Wan ate the cakes, she darted a look at the tightly shut door. Although it was her first time attending an auction, this place was not as she had imagined.
“Xuecheng, at first, I thought this was an open auction but it seems every buyer sits in their own private room and are unaware of who the person next to them is.”
Jiang Xuecheng raised his brows calmly and a dim light appeared in his eyes.
“Did you think the Lu family auction is as simple as that? The Lu family gets along with both people from the legal and illegal world. Some who attends the auction have complicated identities. Hence, they place importance in security.”
Su Wan suddenly realized and nodded. She stared at Jiang Xuecheng’s extremely handsome face and poured him a glass of red wine.
“I see, but all these are none of our business. We only need to bid for three collectibles and our job is done.”
Jiang Xuecheng received the wine poured by Su Wan. He took a sip and said, “Wan Wan, if you see something you like, just let me know.”
As she heard Jiang Xuecheng’s sentence, she flipped through the auction list immediately. Just when she was ready to browse through carefully, the big screen in front of her lit up.
Su Wan nudged Jiang Xuecheng and exclaimed softly, “The auction has started.”
A beautiful Eurasian lady in her thirties by the name of Helena appeared on the screen. She was wearing a purple silk dress and was the auctioneer of this auction.
A few strands of hair fell on Helena’s forehead. On her neck was a crystal-clear pearl necklace. Her lips with rosy lipstick spread out slightly and before she could open her mouth to speak, it gave people an urge to approach her.
Helena bowed at different directions and she wore a dangerously beautiful smile. She walked slowly to the center of the stage and the long purple dress with slim slits swayed slightly with her steps, showing off her fair legs.
This was the first time Su Wan saw such a charming lady. Although her facial features were not unique, every gesture of hers was filled with splendor, with a mysterious and noble temperament of a Eurasian lady.
Even though Su Wan was a woman, she couldn’t help looking at her.
Just when Su Wan was looking forward, Helena started her speech. She did not say much but had the ability to make people want to listen further.
Just when Helena’s voice died down, Su Wan heard thunderous applause from all over.
Su Wan fixed her eyes on Helena and sighed. “This auctioneer has a glib tongue. She can really set the tone for the event.”
“Her name is Helena and she’s recognized as the chief auctioneer in the auction industry. If she can’t talk, the Lu family wouldn’t have invited her today.”
Jiang Xuecheng paused and put down the glass containing red wine as he continued, “After all, inviting her to host an auction costs tens of millions of dollars.”
Su Wan was taken aback. After regaining her senses, she stuck out her tongue. “She’s indeed amazing.”
Helena’s charming and elegant poise made many men fall head over heels for her. There were some people who came not to bid but to see her.
Just when Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng were interacting, the first collectible had been sold.
In fact, this exhibit was just a shot in the arm and it was nothing special but after Helena’s wonderful explanation, the transaction price was much higher than its estimated value.
