The Ice-Cold Executive Gets A Wife Novel - Chapter 201
Chapter 201: Someone Misses You
Sebastian felt uneasy at first sight of this message. It was as if it had come from a dream.
Something important? What was she trying to do now? Had she forgotten what he had said to her last time? Damn it.
This woman had a bad memory. What could she possibly have to say that was important? She was trying to find an excuse to get close to him.
He fidgeted a few times on his phone, and the text message and the string of numbers disappeared into his phone.
‘Dear passengers, welcome to American Airlines. Flight CA135 has already taken off. Please switch off your phone and fasten your seat belt. Thank you for your cooperation.”
Sebastian listened to the announcement broadcast while looking at the people around him from the corner of his eyes. It was rare for him to take a passenger plane, but Ellie hoped his trip would be kept confidential, so he could only lose himself in the crowd.
“Mom, Mom, look at the uncle next to you. He’s so handsome,” a girl said in a childish voice across the aisle.
“I’m sorry to bother you. She’s always like this. She has so many things to say.” The woman smiled apologetically at Sebastian.
Sebastian turned around and looked at the girl with a smile. His eyes were filled with a strange light. He looked at the girl’s face for a few seconds.
“Hi. How are you?” He smiled and waved at the girl. Sebastian didn’t know why, but he felt he couldn’t help himself.
The girl blinked and looked at him for a few seconds.
“Wow, he smiled at me.” The girl smiled sweetly.
“Hello.” He smiled.
“Hi, you are so handsome,” the girl shouted happily.
“Thank you for the compliment. You are also very cute.” Sebastian continued looking at her with a smile. He did not know when he started to think that children were cute.
In the past, he only thought that children were a troublesome species. They were noisy and very annoying.
But now he thought that children were quite cute. His lips curved into a smile, and two small dimples appeared on his cheeks. It was a face one couldn’t look away from.
Sebastian looked at the girl. He saw that her face was red. Wasn’t Sophia pregnant with a girl? Could the baby be the same as this little girl?
“When you smile, you’re even more handsome than the movie actors. No, ten times or a hundred times more handsome than them.” The girl’s eyes were shining as she stared into his eyes.
“Thank you for the compliment. I’ll take it,” Sebastian said happily. Looking at the beautiful girl, he smiled.
“No, that’s not right. You look like the movie actors.” The girl quickly corrected herself. She felt that what she said just now was a bit inappropriate. Furthermore, it was exaggerated.
“So, what’s your name?” Sebastian asked.
“My name is Sophia.”
Sebastian was stunned. What a coincidence!
“Hehe, what’s your name?” Little Sophia looked at him.
“Sebastian.” He had never taken the initiative to reveal his name to others.
“Oh, hello, nice to meet you! My name is Sophia. Nice to meet you!” Little Sophia stretched out her fair little hand and smiled at Sebastian.
“Nice to meet you too.” These words were for the little girl and what he wanted to say to Sophia, too.
The girl was immediately attracted to other things and began playing alone.
The child’s attention span was short, and he wondered if Sophia’s child would be the same. Sebastian turned and stared at the panel in front of him.
He tore a piece of paper from the notepad he carried with him and took out a beautiful blue French porcelain pen.
He remembered Sophia telling him, “A good memory is not as good as a bad pen. The friction between paper and pen will create inspiration.”
“Nice to meet you. I’m a person who hates change,” Sebastian wrote on the paper.
“But I don’t know why someone intruded into my world one afternoon for no reason. Back then, I didn’t realize how much impact she would have on my life after that.
“Maybe it was because she was the first person who dared to stare at me, or maybe it was because she was the first person who was not afraid of disagreeing with me. There were many possibilities, but I can be sure I fell in love with her…”
Yes, he had fallen in love with her. Sebastian looked at the clouds outside the cabin. He seemed to be able to see a beam of light in the distance.
He folded the paper carefully. Sophia, Sophia. He repeated the name in his mind.
“Sophia, why are you scratching your ear?” Olivia looked at Sophia, who was sitting opposite her, puzzled.
“Nothing, I just feel that my ear is a little itchy.”
“I heard that an itchy ear means someone misses you. Could it be…”
“What are you talking about? Eat up.” Sophia touched her ear again subconsciously. He should be back today..
