The Ice-Cold Executive Gets A Wife Novel - Chapter 132
Chapter 132: Smiling At Each Other
“Sophia, for real? When? When? I must be there. You must tell me!” Olivia exclaimed. She danced excitedly as if she had just found out the sex of the child. She quickly asked as she wanted to know the good news immediately. In fact, the best-case scenario would be to go to the hospital now.
“Okay, okay, I will.” Sophia smiled in response to Olivia. However, she glanced at Sebastian, who was not far away, and saw that he was staring straight at her belly. Sophia recalled the misunderstanding between them and his thoughtfulness and the many times when their eyes met, and she could not help but smile.
Her smile stunned Sebastian for a moment, and he seemed confused. He didn’t understand why Sophia would smile so beautifully.
This was the happiest and most sincere smile Sophia had ever had since she was pregnant.
Sophia noticed her gaffe and quickly stopped smiling, pretending nothing had happened. But a slight smile played on her lips anyway.
At the party, except for Sophia and Trisha, the two expectant mothers, who were not allowed to drink, everyone was celebrating this new life with great joy.
Sebastian, on the other hand, was a little restrained and conservative because he had to work tomorrow.
As the party went on, Sophia suddenly felt a sense of detachment. She was mentally separated from the party. This brought her back to that night three and a half months ago.
She was in the same place, having a good time, getting drunk. Then, she went upstairs to a room on the third floor and had sex with the dominating man. In this fantasy, she had mistaken Norman with Sebastian, and everything seemed to make sense to her.
She called out to Sebastian, ‘Hubs, hubs.’ Some vague memory fragments appeared in her mind, and Sebastian gave her many waves of pleasure, making her orgasm again and again.
She felt her stomach move, then she was pulled back from the fantasy. Why did it have to be Norman but not Sebastian?
Sophia searched for Sebastian but could not find him. She was a little disappointed.
If only it were Sebastian. She thought to herself.
Sebastian stood where he was and did not move. He was looking at Sophia, who was not far away. He could not stop thinking about the girl who had bloomed in his arms that night. It warmed his body.
But at the thought of what Daisy to him, he picked up his glass, took a fidgety sip, and then took another sip. He was turned off at the thought that it was Daisy, and his body cooled down.
He still didn’t believe that it was Daisy, but everything Daisy said was true. Experience told him that anything you didn’t want to consider was probably true. He would rather believe that it was a beautiful sex dream than accept that he had a physical relationship with a woman like Daisy.
Or, if it were Sophia, then all would be well. Sophia wouldn’t be just out of reach with so many people coming between them. Daisy, Norman… Sebastian got even more annoyed.
‘Sophia, why weren’t you the woman? You were here that night, weren’t you? You were also on the third floor, weren’t you? How did I hear your voice in my bed when you were next door?’
His gaze never left Sophia, watching the changes in her expression, from the initial anticipation to a hint of disappointment.
Every expression of Sophia’s tugged at his heartstring. He wanted to see through Sophia’s heart. He wanted to see through her, to see the true feelings in her heart.
But most of the time, no matter how hard he tried to open his eyes wider, he could not see even a little bit.
Sebastian felt that when he first met Sophia, she was the most innocent and the happiest. Later on, her face was filled with worry from time to time, which was the last thing he wanted to see.
After he confirmed that he liked Sophia, what he wanted to do the most was to know how to make her happy.
Sebastian looked at Olivia smiling so brightly next to Raphael, and he wished that he could do the same with Sophia. When she smiled at him just now, Sebastian felt that everything was worth it.
The party was coming to an end. Everyone was no longer smiling but exhausted. Sophia knew that she would not make it back today.
She decided to go upstairs, find the room she stayed in yesterday, and prepare to rest.
“Sophia, I…” Sebastian had had too much to drink and seemed unhappy.
“Oh, Seb, there you are. Joseph is looking for you.” Anita pulled Sebastian away.
Sophia didn’t know what he wanted to say..
