S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 80
Chapter 80
“She’s too…”
“She’s sloppy but still cute”. Penelope grinned and muttered. As she felt the affectionate heart of a friend after a long time, it seemed to have given her energy. She vowed to try harder. She folded the letter and put it back in her pocket. As she looked around, something strange caught her eye.
“…Wait, where did Reina go? I also don’t see Natalie.”
Upon closer inspection, there seemed to be some people missing. The other succubus flinched at Penelope’s question, then hesitantly opened her lips.
“Ah, that… Actually, three of them left, including Sora, they couldn’t stand it anymore, so they went out. They said they would be back soon…”
“What?! How long ago has it been since she left?”
“About 30 minutes…”
This is crazy! Penelope jumped up from her seat. She told them not to leave the safe house unless a senior succubus accompanied them, but she seemed to have had an accident.
It was frustrating for everyone here. It was a situation where everything could become dangerous if someone got caught, so all they had to do was be patient. It was the same for Penelope who left and came back quickly.
After making sure that the magic in the safe house was intact, she hurriedly set out on her way. Even if she disliked Soraya’s attitude, she was still her junior. Her mind became impatient as the thoughts that she might be in danger flooded her mind.
If she still hadn’t returned after half an hour, it was obvious what had happened to her. Natalie had black hair and pink eyes. There was a slight difference with pink eyes, but this would be invisible to those who already had hatred in their hearts. The sun was setting soon so the difference would be indistinguishable.
“Aaaahhh!”
Not long after she left the safe house, she heard screams from afar. It was an exceptionally thin voice, it must be the junior succubus, Natalie.
“Natalie!”
Penelope used her powers and flew quickly. Her power was C-Class speed enhancement, which was quite useful even against her mid level demons.
As she reached the source of the scream in an instant, she saw the scene she had expected. Several mid level demons surrounded the succubus, and Natalie was held upside down by one of them. She was, to be precise, being lifted upside down and being eaten from her legs first.
“Aaaaah!”
The scream felt like it was piercing her eardrums. Understanding the situation, she instantly moved her body without hesitation.
The claws that were sharper than the average blade cut the head of the demon who was eating Natalie. The huge demon fell slowly backward with its head cut off. Natalie was finally freed from his hand and fell down. Penelope grabbed her body before it hit the floor. Natalie, who now had a missing leg, was stunned.
“M-Miss Penelope…!”
“Stand back.”
Penelope said, passing Natalie over to the other succubus.
“Who is this…!”
“You’re so impatient you must want to die first.”
The mid level demons, who had watched the scene where the succubus was being eaten, giggled and approached Penelope with distorted expressions.
Gulp, Penelope swallowed saliva. Four mid level demons. Besides, one of them was from a pretty strong race. They were too strong and there were too many of them to fight alone. Reina and Sora were also too weak and inexperienced to help her in fighting. It would be fortunate if they didn’t become a hindrance.
‘If I make a mistake…’
There was no time for her thoughts to continue as a huge blunt weapon immediately struck her. Penelope quickly dodged the attack. Thanks to the remainder of her power that was still in effect, she was able to avoid all the attacks even in a 4 to 1 disadvantageous situation. However, as time passed, her stamina decreased, and the effect of her powers diminished.
“Bind!”
To make matters worse, one of her hands was tied by the enemy’s power and she was on the verge of being hit.
“Miss Penelope!”
“Get away!”
Penelope cried out and hurriedly cut off the vines that bound her hand. However, Reina, who was holding Natalie’s body, could not escape and her body was caught by the vines.
“Aaahhhh!”
“No!”
Penelope quickly reached her hand out to grab Reina’s arm but was unsuccessful. Reina and Natalie were dragged away helplessly, and Penelope couldn’t even save her own body.
She didn’t want to be in a situation like this which was why she had trained so hard. She had been honing her skills so much that she aggressively consumed energy! She gritted her teeth as she tried to wriggle her arms to free herself from the vines. The demons laughed as they watched the beautiful succubus struggle.
At that moment, something extraordinary happened.
“Ack, Gasp! Gasp!”
“W-What? This is crazy?!”
The demon, who had been laughing while holding his stomach until just now, was suddenly choking. He couldn’t breathe. His face turned red and he was drooling, his hands wouldn’t stay still. No, rather, the veins on his hands were protruding.
“Ugh! Save me, save me!”
“Who is it! Who is controlling my body…! Argh!”
The surrounding demons also started doing strange things. Self-harm continued, including stabbing their thighs with the dagger they were holding, and hitting their head with a blunt weapon. The succubi, including Penelope, were so amazed that they could not utter a word and stared at the cruel scene.
‘What’s happening…?’
Penelope opened her mouth blankly and looked around. As she turned her head toward a large tree, an unfamiliar color caught her attention at once.
A man was standing under the tree. A man whose existence she hadn’t even noticed.
He had silver hair that glowed even in the darkness and looked like it was made by collecting moon powder. Penelope realized who the man was as soon as she saw his face.
A demon who was very strong, and also incredibly beautiful.
The explanation, which she had thought was sloppy, wasn’t at all.

One week. It had only been one week. It was time that could quickly pass by while rolling around in bed. It was too short a time for anything to change.
But this week felt like it was the longest week Adelaide had ever had in her entire life. The Greenville Dungeon underwent a major change just 7 days after Lisianthus left. To be more precise, that change was called ‘dirty’.
“Why?”
Adelaide, who was squatting on the sofa, muttered blankly.
“Why so soon… Why is it a mess?”
Literally. Greenville Dungeon had lost its former clean and comfortable appearance. The sofa was littered with breadcrumbs from someone else’s spill, and when she sat down, her skin itched. The floor was sticky for some reason, and some of the chairs were broken. You could also find dust everywhere.
She didn’t know why the mess was this much. The demons of Greenville didn’t have Lisianthus, so they even promised to be more careful and walked around more quietly than usual. She wondered if someone had sneaked in and left it dirty.
But there could only be an effect if there was a cause. The culprit who scattered the breadcrumbs was Caladium, the floor became sticky from the juice the Skeletons tried to drink, the broken chair was because of Bell transforming, and the dust floating around was the price of not cleaning it every day. In other words, this filth was caused by all of the demons in the dungeon.
“There is a strange pink substance in the bathtub!”
“What?! Isn’t it poisonous?”
Durahan Peter, who liked baths, ran up and announced, and one of the Skeletons shouted in shock. The demons who had never lived in a fully furnished place like this, or had never done any maintenance or cleaning, were unaware of the existence of scale. They only knew that all of this was due to Lisianthus’ absence.
“Is there a demon here who knows how to use cleaning magic?”
All the demons became silent. Even Caladium, who she believed in, shook his head. “Why do you need to know if anyone uses such magic?” Still not understanding the situation, he shrugged.
“If Lisian comes back to this, he’ll be mad. Let’s clean together!”
Adelaide, who couldn’t see it, suggested. Everyone nodded as if they were all dissatisfied with the changed appearance of the dungeon.
“The Great Devil of the Red Flame cleaning…”
Caladium grunted like this, but within a few minutes he said he would show his potential, holding a broom in both hands and using magic, sweeping and mopping the floor more passionately than anyone else.
And after an hour. Amazing results were born.
“Why?”
Adelaide murmured again.
“Why… Even after cleaning, it doesn’t look very clean, does it?”
Clearly, even after sweeping the floor and throwing away the garbage, it still didn’t look like it used to. Part of the floor was still sticky or slippery, and new dust suddenly appeared. Except for Pia, who couldn’t see, all the demons in her group worked together, but couldn’t match with what Lisianthus could do alone.
“I miss Lisian…”
Adelaide muttered with a sullen face. She missed the fragrant tea he brewed. Freshly baked bread, juicy steak, and a pleasant environment where there was no dust to be found. She was now desperate for everything she had taken for granted until now. Lisianthus did all of it alone. At the same time, she felt a sense of guilt and longing. Once he was back, she would apologize.
It had been several days since she was last able to contact him. The post office was shut down due to the Legend’s raid on the demon post office. Like last time, there were casualties, but there was no succubus among them.
‘The last time I contacted you, you said you met Penelope, so you’re probably still together.’
It was fortunate that Penelope was safe thanks to that, but it was very disappointing that a reunion could not be promised. She felt like her daily life, which she had taken for granted, was suddenly destroyed.
‘Only if it wasn’t for that Legend j*rk.’
The only thing that they could hope for was for the Demon King to catch the Legend. Although the Demon King had five devils, he had shown a passive attitude to subdue the Legend. However, as the appeals of the demons continued, and dangerous movement appeared among the adventurers, he finally announced his position. He was going to deal with the Legend soon.
Adelaide was furious at those who did not care at all about the oppression the succubi race was experiencing, but she also wanted for the Legend to be captured as soon as possible, so that her precious daily life could be restored.
‘It won’t take long since the Demon King is coming.’
As she thought like this, she grabbed the broom and held it tightly. She couldn’t go out anyway and there was nothing she could do, so she was determined to challenge the formidable enemy of cleaning again.
D-d-d-d-d
Until she felt a subtle vibration.
“Huh?”
Didn’t the floor just shake? Adelaide opened her mouth to ask if she was the only one who had felt it. But without even being able to open her lips properly, her body flew away.
Kwaang!!
The dungeon resounded with a roar that pierced her ears. Scorching heat engulfed her body which pushed Adelaide’s body into the corner of the living room in an instant.
“Everyone get back!”
Despite Caladium’s harsh voice, Adelaide stared in front of her, unable to move.
Someone broke through their portal in Darfur Forest and entered.
