S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 60
‘Am I seeing wrong?’ Raham squinted his swollen eyes. The hardened blood kept obscuring his vision, making it difficult to see.
“Huh? That’s…!”
A demon in the audience opened his mouth on his behalf.
“They’re coming out!”
“What? They’re coming out? No way!” The roaring voices grew louder. Everyone’s eyes poured towards the portal of Sol Dungeon.
The blue light emanating from the portal slowly flickered, then flashed beautifully. It meant someone was coming out of the portal.
[Unbelievable! Something absurd has happened! Sol Dungeon’s portal is transporting someone!]
Go Il, who hastily grabbed his microphone, announced in a loud voice.
Portals were only installed in the entrance and final rooms of Sol Dungeon. The entrance portal was deactivated after they entered, which meant that the portal in the final room was activated.
Opinions were divided as to who was coming out of the portal while it operated for a few seconds.
Did Greenville Dungeon successfully conquer Sol Dungeon? Or did the demon guarding the final room of Sol Dungeon get bored? The audience considered the latter more likely.
After the portal movement was finally completed, the demons could not help but be astonished.
The first thing they saw was the fierce face of a demon. A demon with a red skin color and a long beard. The high level demon who guarded the final room of Sol Dungeon.
Adelaid held his head in her hand. The cut on its neck was very neat, proving that it was cut in one slice.
Gasps were heard from all over the place. At the silence caused by their astonishment, Adelaide walked out into the square, her cloak waving elegantly. All of the demons who followed her were in good shape.
Thud! Roll.
The demon’s head roughly rolled on the floor.
“Ugh, disgusting.” Adelaide’s face contorted as she threw the head. She lifted her gaze. Her eyes met Shavarma’s glare.
She smiled and opened her mouth.
“Sol Dungeon’s Capture Completed!”
“W-Waaaa!”
“Wow!”
“Greenville, Greenville!”
When Adelaide finished her words, the crowd erupted in cheers. Even the demons, who had underestimated them shouted out the Greenville name.
[Yes, Greenville Dungeon has completed their attack on the Sol Dungeon! The demon’s head who was assigned in the final room is proof of that!]
[A miracle has happened!] Go Il’s loud voice echoed through the square.
Through the shouts, Adelaide walked leisurely and climbed onto the podium. The hardened faces of Mierda and Shavarma were refreshing.
“What kind of tricks did you…”
Shavarma was very angry. Adelaide cut him off sarcastically.
“What do you mean tricks? Weren’t you just too weak? It was boring. Was the Sol Dungeon only this much?”
She smirked. The enraged Shavarrma raised his dark eyes and tried to approach her, but Mierda stopped him.
“Master Shavarma. There are eyes. Please don’t let your noble ears listen to the words of a lowly demon.”
Unsurprisingly, the gargoyles in charge of the filming for the Dungeon Newspaper were excited and aimed their video stones toward their seats.
There was no need to create bothersome articles. Having judged this, Mierda said with a relaxed smile.
“They were demons assigned according to the level of Greenville Dungeon. We can’t waste valuable manpower dealing with you.”
“Aha, really? No wonder he died in one slice. Aren’t you looking down on us too much?”
Adelaide mocked him and smirked. Caladium who stood behind her admired her behavior. People would think that he died in one shot. She stepped on his foot, warning him to be quiet.
“Master, please just sit here this time. I don’t think there’s any need for the master to deal with someone of such level.”
Lisianthus helped her, showing off his beautiful appearance. Adelaide nodded her head and said yes.
Shavarma’s face turned red. He struggled to suppress the urge to crush that cheeky w*nch’s head. In the middle of the provocation, he opened his mouth.
“Did you say that they sent out 8 demons?”
“Yes.”
“To be precise, the total number of people in the dungeon is eight.” Mierda added cautiously.
“Then let 5 demons from us compete!”
At Shavarrma’s declaration, Adelaide clicked her tongue. They won’t be able to get little experiences anymore. She was sad.
Shavarma stared at her and continued.
“You too, Mierda.”
“Yes, Master Shavarma.”
Mierda knelt on one knee and answered.
The fact that they were sending Mierda, the manager of Sol Dungeon and successor to Shavarma, meant that they were sending only the elite. They would be much more difficult to deal with than fighting dozens of low level demons. Adelaide was calm and sarcastic, she did not know what was coming to her.
“Why don’t you just send all 100 people? You’ll regret it later. Have you forgotten that if you lose, we will take not only Raham but also one more demon?”
“Shut your cheeky mouth, Succubus. We will have no regrets.”
Shavarma shoved his face in front of her and gritted his teeth. When those black eyes met hers, Adelaide’s body shook. They were eyes that she couldn’t get used to, no matter how many times she looked at them.
“Sh-Should we start the attack? Or do you want a short break…?”
Go Il intervened in the staring contest.
When Adelaide glanced behind her, her demons were nowhere to be seen except for Lisianthus. Everyone had already returned to the Greenville Dungeon. They were already prepared. She exchanged glances with Lisianthus for a moment and then nodded her head.
“We are ready.”
“There is no need for a break. Start right away!”
At Shavarma’s shout, Go Il took his microphone and flew up.
[Ehem― Sol’s attack, we will start right away!]
Adelaide sat comfortably in her chair, staring at the screen. Since Sol Dungeon agreed to being captured in video, the appearance of the demons participating in the Sol Dungeon was vividly displayed on the screen.
[A total of five demons from Sol will attack. They are the elite, including the Manager Mr. Mierda!]
“Wow! Mierda!”
Cheers pierced her ears. There were no cheers like this during Greenville’s turn. “Hmph. How annoying.” Adelaide snorted.
The demons from Sol dungeon all seemed strong in her eyes. Of course, all five of them were high level demons. They were all incomparably stronger than Adelaide, who had just reached the edge of becoming a high level demon.
Mierda, who occupied the center of the screen, stared at something intently. It was at the direction of the podium. He grinned and stuck his tongue out towards the seat. He was warning Adelaide that he would soon take her tongue.
“He probably really likes my tongue.”
“Or maybe he just likes me.” Adelaide mumbled. “Maybe.” Lisianthus who stood behind her replied.
[Demons of Sol Dungeon, enter the Greenville Dungeon! Start attacking!]
With Go Il’s declaration, the demons belonging to the Sol Dungeon, led by Mierda, stepped into the portal.
Adelaide smiled and looked at the screen.
‘Now, let’s see if what we prepared will work.’
***
While riding the portal to Greenville Dungeon, one of Sol’s demons carefully opened his mouth.
“Sir Mierda. I’m sorry, this might be rude, but I’ve never heard of Greenville. Are there any trap rooms or demons we should watch out for?”
Mierda glanced away for a moment. The demon had just come out of bed and his hair was in a messy state.
It was not unreasonable to be curious as he was all of a sudden brought out to join a match he didn’t expect to appear in. Second only to Mierda, he was the number one member of Sol. He was always in charge of the final room, so he never had to fight.
“None.”
Mierda said with a snort.
“What?”
“The number of trap rooms is 0. The total number of rooms is less than 100, and there are less than ten demons to deal with. Most of them are just monsters. There are only a few portals.”
The demon made a bewildered expression. An expression that said “Why did you call me then?”.
“You just have to be careful of the red-haired demon. Even though we can’t see his energy, he’s a high level demon. He will probably be in the final room.”
The portal activated as Mierda spoke.
When they closed their eyes, they saw the shabby Greenville Dungeon. Born as high class men from birth, the demons who had never been to such a humble place opened their mouths.
“The goal is to clearly show the power of Sol.”
Mierda looked at the gargoyle that followed him.
“Don’t miss anything and keep shooting.”
“Y-Yes!”
The gargoyle responded, the hand holding the video stone trembled. It was his first time filming a big event like this, so he was nervous and stuttered.
“Let’s go!”
“Yes!”
As soon as the demons were ready, they moved quickly. There was no trap room, so there was nothing to watch out for. They just needed to kill all the demons they saw.
The moment they thought that, their feet suddenly stopped. It happened less than a minute after the attack started.
Crack!
“Ughh!”
In an instant, three demons fell into an unexpected trap. They were able to quickly jump out as they were high level demons, but the floor in front of them also collapsed. The damage was so wide that it was impossible to avoid.
“But there weren’t supposed to be any traps.” Mierda, who was behind them, narrowed his eyes. They confirmed beforehand that they never bought a trap magic stone. The fact that there was a trap meant that they dug the ground themselves.
‘How pathetic.’
Mierda clicked his tongue. Being stuck in a dungeon like this was a shame for Sol.
There was no need to worry about the demons who fell into the trap. They were demons who could get through high level trap rooms. Even if they were caught off guard, there was no way they would get hurt by a handmade trap.
As he expected, two demons escaped the trap in a matter of seconds. However, what was surprising was that their condition was not very good.
“Ugh…”
“What?!”
Mierda, who was able to quickly jump and avoid the trap, approached the demon. His black eyes fluttered for a moment.
The legs of the demons who had fallen into the trap melted away.
“You said there were no traps! There was lava flowing below!”
“What?”
Mierda looked down. At the end of the deep hole, as the demon had said, red lava was boiling.
“Even Cuatro is dead!”
The one who could not get out was dead and his body had melted into nothing.
It was not ordinary lava, but lava made with power. An S-Class power that could melt the body of a high level demon who was at its full strength, enough to see the bones.
The result of falling defenselessly to the power that was not easy to face even with full stamina was disastrous. Two demons were injured and the weakest of the five was dead.
“What is this…”
“How did an S-Class power appear in such a place?” He muttered, unable to hide his confusion.
At that moment, he felt a presence nearby. Mierda hurriedly raised his head. Soon his face turned white.
“Hey, welcome!”
All the demons of Greenville were standing there. Caladium who walked next to the large Cerberus welcomed the demons of Sol. With his sharp horn proudly exposed.
This was Adelaide’s plan, the ‘Everyone Attacks at the Entrance’ strategy.
