S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 25
Hmph, Adelaide, who snorted and huffed, opened the portal.
They passed through the portal in the following order: Adelaide, Lisianthus, Caladium, and the Skeletons. Unlike the portals of the Boraca Dungeon, it was old and slow-moving. The place changed only after 10 seconds had passed.
I’m changing this portal. Adelaide vowed, clenching her molars.
“Wow! What is all this!”
“Look at this, Captain! There’s even a bathtub!”
“Oh my God. It’s pretty, it’s pretty.”
“Hey, is that a real artificial sun?!”
As soon as the Skeletons came out of the portal, they burst into cheers. They continued to give praise while prowling around the dungeon.
Compared to the Boraca Dungeon, there are still many things that are lacking, but it was very kind that they looked at it positively. Unlike Cal, who chastised the location as soon as he arrived.
“Master. Before unwinding from the travel, how about registering the contracts on the pad first? The condition for upgrading the level was ‘Registered Demons: 1’, so the dungeon level will go up immediately. Then the dungeon will widen, so I think it would be better to clean after that.”
Lisianthus handed the dungeon pad as he said it. Oddly enough, a smile spread across his face.
It’s nice to be praised for the dungeon you designed! Adelaide noticed.
“Yes, I got it. Skeletons, I’ll raise the level and use the magic stone to increase the number of rooms right away!”
“Okay! Take it slow. We’ll be looking over there, the garden and the vegetable garden. So pretty!”
“…You can pick and eat cherry tomatoes.”
Lisianthus encouraged but pretended to be indifferent. He was trying to lower the corners of his mouth, but it was evident that he enjoyed showing off his garden to others.
Adelaide opened the pad while smiling softly because he was so cute. She pulled out the signed contracts to register them.
Caladium quickly opened his mouth.
“Register mine first!”
He couldn’t give up the first Demon position. Caladium’s silver-gray eyes flared with determination.
“Sure thing.”
Adelaide pulled out Caladium’s contract without much excitement. Then, she pushed it into the pad. Soon the contract was absorbed as if it had melted into the transparent pad. Then suddenly the dungeon began to vibrate.
Uuung!
“What?”
“It’s a sign of growth. The whole dungeon will be ringing soon.”
Lisianthus explained, carefully holding Adelaide up.
Adelaide put her hands together and looked up at the ceiling. It was the first time she had experienced something like this, so her heart was pounding.
[Greenville Dungeon. Current class F-5.]
A dull mechanical voice resounded throughout the dungeon. It was just as Lisianthus said.
[The dungeon’s level will increase.]
[The reward will be paid together.]
The vibration intensified. Adelaide grabbed Lisianthus’ arm and her eyes twinkled.
‘Finally, we’re escaping F-5! Now it’s an F-4. How much is the reward?’
As soon as the level went up, she stared at the dungeon pad to check the rewards first.
But something was weird. The vibration should have gradually stopped and the appearance of the dungeon should have changed, but there was no sign of the vibration decreasing.
No, it seemed to be getting stronger.
And the voice rang again.
[The dungeon’s level will increase.]
[The reward will be paid together.]
[The dungeon’s level will increase.]
[The reward will be paid together.]
[The dungeon…]
The mechanical sound kept repeating itself. There was definitely an error.
The shape of the dungeon pad kept changing as well. It became an ordinary wooden pad, then it became a steel pad… The changes were endless.
What if something went wrong? What if the dungeon suddenly collapses? Adelaide’s body trembled like an Aspen tree at the possibility that instantly came to mind.
But fortunately, after a few repetitions, the machine finally stopped. The dungeon pad no longer changed after it shifted to a metal shape.
Adelaide sighed in relief and picked up the pad. She was thinking of taking a look at what’s going on.
When she touched the pad, letters appeared on the transparent window.

Adelaide’s pink eyes shook endlessly. As she slowly turned her eyes, she saw Caladium lying on the sofa in a cocky manner.
He raised one corner of his mouth, smiled, and said playfully.
“Hey, I told you not to be prejudiced, didn’t I?”
Stunned, Adelaide lost her words and looked at him and the dungeon pad alternately. Closing her eyes and trembling, rubbing her eyes and wiping the pad, the content remained exactly as she saw it.
‘E-5 level? Does this make sense? How did it climb so many at once?!’
Not one or two, but five. Moreover, the difference between F-Class dungeons and E-Class dungeons was huge.
Boraca’s dungeon, where there was so much money (though it was borrowed), was an E-4 Class. Dozens of demons belonged to it, and the number of rooms was enormous, and it even had a nice trap room, so it was a level that could be barely obtained.
She couldn’t believe that they only had one demon but they already climbed to E-5 Class. It was absurd. But what was even more ridiculous than that was the thing written underneath.
High Level Demon.
Adelaide read and reread that incredible position. She read it, but it didn’t get through her head. That was how baffling it was.
High level demons called ‘Devils’ were difficult to encounter even once in demons’ lifetimes. It was difficult to meet even high level demons, but it was even harder to meet the ones above them.
The number of high level demons was small enough that it could be counted with two hands. Five of them worked under the Demon King and ruled the area they were in charge of, while the rest of them wandered around the Demon Realm, hiding their identities.
Also, high level demons were just as strong as they are rare. It’s only natural that their skills are just below the Demon King.
However, Adelaide not only met this terrifying devil, but also forced him to kiss her and consumed his energy, and even threatened him to work under her.
As she recalled her own past, one by one, her complexion turned white.
“There must be an error! Maybe it’s because the pad is old, haha.”
So Adelaide started running away from reality.
“The devil, does this make sense? It’s ridiculous!”
Adelaide looked around, eagerly waiting for someone to agree. However, Lisianthus’ expression was serious without a single smile, and Caladium had a smirk on his lips.
She spoke in a desperate voice.
“Realistically, if you had a devil as an affiliate, would it only increase by five levels?”
Adelaide was stunned at her words for trivializing a five level increase.
However, the tension was relieved a little by finding a fairly good counter-argument. Logically, it didn’t make sense that the level of the dungeon a Devil belonged to was E-5.
“Yes, there is a limit of five levels that can be climbed up one time.”
And Lisianthus shattered her relief horribly.
Adelaide hoped he was joking, but she knew Lisianthus wasn’t a very humorous demon.
“Then, really, he’s really, a devil?”
There was a strong tremble in her pupils.
‘How dare I do that to a devil?’
She had nothing to say even if she ran away right now.
In the world of a hard-core jungle, Caladium was a tiger-like reigning man at the top of the pyramid, and Adelaide’s position was to crawl on the floor like a halibut. However, the halibut jumped up and slapped the tiger in the ear without fear.
“So do you still not believe me? If you know it now, then get it right.”
Caladium spoke in an arrogant manner.
But it didn’t sound arrogant to Adelaide at all. No, it seemed rather generous. She couldn’t believe he was letting it slide.
She was thrilled by his generosity. She thought she’d hit her head on the floor right away and bow to thank him. Adelaide was about to offer all sorts of compliments to him. Lisianthus took the initiative as if he had predicted it.
“You seem to be misunderstanding something.”
He stared at Caladium with cold eyes. Caladium also looked at him as if he would not lose.
“Regardless of your status, you are just a demon who belongs to Greenville Dungeon. And Master Adelaide is the owner of that dungeon.”
“Hey, Lisian.”
Can you say that to the devil? Adelaide asked with her eyes. She was afraid that he might be beaten hard for something like that.
However, Lisianthus’ attitude was very determined.
“The one who needs to be properly served is Master.”
Caladium only wriggled his forehead, but didn’t respond. In fact, he was admiring him.
‘This is a great b*stard too.’
He was the first demon who knew he was a devil and did not change his attitude.
Caladium didn’t like those who knew his position and changed their stance in an instant. However, he thought that the unlucky b*stard would at least be a little obsequious. Caladium smacked his lips with disappointment.
“Master, I dare advise you, do not be respectful nor self-conscious to a demon member. I know the Master is very kind, but I’m afraid he’ll misbehave and be arrogant to you.”
“That… I won’t…….”
“For your information.”
Lisianthus bowed his head toward Adelaide. A soft breath touched her ear and it tickled.
He said in a low voice.
“The demons cannot harm the dungeon master they belong to.”
Adelaide’s eyes widened. Then words are another law.
“Yes! You! Don’t expect to be respected by me!”
Adelaide pointed at Caladium and shouted. She was so elated that she knew he couldn’t hit her.
Contrary to Adelaide’s predictions that he would be zesty or angry, he was still lying on the sofa with a smile on his face. A calm voice continued.
“Yeah, I never thought that.”
“What, why are you being so obedient?”
Adelaide asked, tilting her head. It had only been a few days since they had known each other, but at least she knew very well that ‘submissive’ was a word that doesn’t fit Caladium very well.
Caladium grinned, revealing his white teeth.
“It’s funny. A small little thing coming at me.”
