S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 20
Adelaide’s body stiffened as she slowly turned her head back.
“Huh…?”
She absentmindedly blinked her eyes. It was because she couldn’t believe what was in front of her.
A portal appeared behind her.
Something that she had not seen until now, shimmered with blue light, as if welcoming Adelaide.
‘A Hidden Portal?’
A Hidden Portal. She had heard of it. Although the cost of installation was several times higher than that of a normal portal, the security was much better than locking a normal portal, so rich dungeon owners buy at least one.
The most distinctive characteristic of a Hidden Portal was that it would not be possible to notice its existence unless a very special condition was achieved. So it was usually used as a safe or a hiding place.
‘What did I do?’
Adelaide scratched her head, looking silly.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t figure out why the Hidden Portal suddenly appeared. All she did was wander around with a sullen face like a fool.
‘No, that’s not the point.’
Yes, the requirement to activate the Hidden Portal was not important. The only thing that mattered to her was where that portal leads.
In normal times, she would wish that it led to a safe. However, the destination that Adelaide wanted now was different.
Adelaide cautiously approached the portal. A blue glow greeted her.
Whoong
She closed her eyes the moment she entered the portal. The place quickly changed. The sound was low and even the speed of movement was different. It was probably really expensive.
Adelaide slowly lifted her eyelids.
The appearance of an unfamiliar room was in sight. It was a place with splendid decoration and a large bed that could fit ten people. And on the bed a demon she knew was laying down.
Short stature, chubby flesh, an unlucky face, and only one ear.
It was Boraca.
‘Bingo.’
A bright smile spread over Adelaide’s pretty face. An exhilarating tremor rose over her skin.
Did someone really listen to her wishes? Otherwise, she couldn’t believe this coincidence. This was the destination she desperately wanted, Boraca’s private room.
Only Boraca was in the room, and he happened to be lying in bed sleeping. This couldn’t have been more perfect for her.
Adelaide walked over to the bed, hiding her presence as much as possible. The closer she got, the louder the sound of Boraca’s breathing could be heard. He seemed to be on the verge of falling into a deep sleep as the sound grew louder.
Adelaide finally reached the bed and slowly sat down next to Boraca. The mattress tilted slightly at the touch of her soft hips.
“What…!”
At that moment, Boraca, who felt a presence, hurriedly turned his body to check for an intruder.
“Shh.”
Just before a loud sound came out, a slender finger covered his mouth. The gesture was as light as a feather, but Boraca could not move at all.
“You should be quiet, it’s bedtime.”
Because it was after he had already been attacked by her succubus powers.
“You… How…”
Boraca tried to resist as much as he could, but it didn’t do much. He couldn’t complete a single question of how she got in there.
“Shh…….”
Adelaide smiled and ran her palm gently over his eyes. As if caring for a child, her friendly voice grew smaller, blurring his concentration.
A drowsiness that could not be shaken came crashing down on him like a storm. It was the first time she understood the words ‘Disastrous Flood’ so clearly.
Less than a minute later, Boraca fell asleep. Adelaide sighed in relief and pulled her hand away.
‘It’s been a while, so it’s difficult to control.’
The last time she worked was a few decades ago, so it was only natural that it was difficult to use her abilities.
If this was when she was at her prime, she was able to put demons to sleep in 10 seconds. But now, even with the perfect situation, it was not easy. She might have failed if Boraca hadn’t been mentally weakened because of his ear being ripped off.
It looks like he was really weakened. She sighed briefly.
Adelaide, seeing that Boraca has completely fallen asleep, quickly unbuttoned his collar. It was very unpleasant to see his thick chin exposed through his white shirt, but she couldn’t help it. She had to take the key.
Unfortunately, no matter how much she looked around, she couldn’t find the key. She even endured the discomfort of having to scan his sweaty skin.
Adelaide hurriedly looked at the table beside the bed. When she saw it wasn’t there, she looked inside the cabinet and even lifted the carpet to find the key.
But the result was the same.
‘Where the hell did you hide it?!’
He usually wore it around his neck as if to brag about it, but she couldn’t understand the logic of hiding it in a private room where no one could enter.
Adelaide looked at Boraca with an impatient face. He snorted and slept well as if he did not care for the world. She had the urge to punch him if she could.
I didn’t want to do this.
She whispered softly and approached him. A sigh escaped from her turbulent heart.
Adelaide stood on the bedside and closed her eyes tightly. She then bowed her head to his lips. A warm breath touched her nose.
And in that moment, the scene changed.
**********
Adelaide slowly opened her eyes.
In place of Boraca’s gorgeous room she had just been in, a dark and cold prison was caught in her sight.
She raised herself up with a groan. The damp feel of the water-filled stone floor was very unpleasant.
“He has a strange dream space.”
Adelaide frowned and spoke to herself.
As she said, this was Boraca’s dream space. A place created only in his unconscious mind, and to which only his soul can enter.
But there would always be an exception. There was a species called “Master of Dreams” or “Looter of Dreams,” they are the Succubi.
Just like the cool title, all succubi were born with the ability to intervene in other people’s dreams, and high level ones can even freely change the content.
The current Adelaide did not have that level of skill, so she was only capable of very little intervention. Unfortunately, due to the lack of energy absorbed over the years, she could not stay in other people’s subconscious for a long time.
‘Let’s see… There it is.’
Adelaide narrowed her eyes and stared into the distance. She saw something like a white ball floating around. That’s what it looked like to a succubus, but it was the soul of Boraca.
Adelaide worked hard because she had to leave as quickly as possible. The closer she got, the more she could see Boraca. And the moment she finally checked his outfit, she wanted to go blind.
“Ugh, who?”
Boraca asked with a drowsy expression, only turning his head slightly.
To be more precise, all he could do was turn his head. Because he was tied to a leather strap while wearing a tho*g.
A bound state reminiscent of a turtle’s shell, a red-hot face, various whips and tools scattered on the floor…
Adelaide slowly lowered her gaze and scanned her body. In an instant, she was wearing a black leather dress and high-heeled boots. She even had a whip in her hand.
This-
She muttered a lot of curse words for a very long time.
In order to effectively take the energy away and not disturb the balance of the dream, the succubus must not provoke the master of consciousness. It was necessary to match the dream situation and the owner’s taste in order to safely escape the unconscious.
“Me? I….”
Even though she knew it, it wasn’t easy to speak. It was because those eyes, glistening with anticipation, were disgusting.
Adelaide drew the faces she was responsible for in her head. The sweet Lisianthus and the pitiful Caladium. When she thought of those rabbit-like men who were waiting for her, her fiery strength surged.
Soon there was an arrogant smile on her beautiful face.
“I’m your Master, you vulgar thing.”
Then, Boraca’s face became dyed with ecs**sy. In the dungeon, he bluffed and pretended to be strong, but it seems that his true taste was something like this.
“Huh, Master…! I’ve been waiting for you!”
Boraca welcomed her, twisting his tightly bound body around. He forgot who she was and who he was because of his unconsciousness.
And Adelaide, unlike her relaxed expression, continued to gag in her heart. Bleuurggh. Bleuurggh.
Desiring to finish her business as soon as possible, she quickly got to the point.
“Yeah, I have a question.”
“What? Again, you’re trying to tease me with shameful words.…!”
Boraca shook his head shamefully. Adelaide truly wanted to cut that head and drop it to the floor.
“No, that’s for later. Just answer the question. If you answer well, I’ll give you a prize.”
Despite what she felt in her heart, she was a pretty good actress. Her voice, raising her chin and speaking as if giving a command, sounded quite arrogant even for herself.
Boraca nodded eagerly, his cheeks dyed red because of the word “reward”. His eyes were wide open and he groaned hard. He wasn’t cute at all, contrary to his intentions.
“Where’s the key?”
“Yes? What key, Master?”
“The one you impudently wore around your neck without my permission.”
Adelaide slapped Boraca’s cheek with the tip of the whip. He answered with a hazy face, as if he was ecstatic for even the slightest pain.
“Oh, that’s… It’s in the vase.”
It’s in the vase. Adelaide, who got the information she wanted, smirked and continued.
“What’s the key for and why did you wear it like that?”
“Ugh, it’s the handcuffs’ key. To tie him up… Sorry. From now on, I will only wear what the Master gave me.”
The confirmation was perfect. So there was no need to stay in this dirty place any longer.
Adelaide immediately turned and walked away. The whip in her hand was also thrown away.
Since she had a weapon in her hand, she wanted to hit Boraca, but he would accept it as a reward. Boraca enjoying her attack. It was terrible just to imagine.
“Master, Master? Where are you going? I answered well……!”
Boraca urgently called Adelaide. She did everything in her power to make the dream last as long as possible.
“Yeah, to give you a prize. If you wait patiently, I will bring you something good.”
“Really? I’ll wait. I won’t do anything else and I’ll wait patiently!”
Wait forever.
Adelaide spit her curse and quickly left the place.
**********
What Adelaide did as soon as she came out of the dream was not to find the key. She was still in a hurry, but she had to do something more urgent than that.
“Bleuurggh!”
It was nauseating.
She tried to be as patient as possible, but it was force majeure. The terrible appearance of Boraca, the flesh which had been protruding through the thongs, kept hovering in front of her eyes, making her stomach ache.
She wiped her lips gently, trying to forget everything as much as possible. However, because it was so intense, she would probably suffer from the memory for a few days.
‘Key, key…….’
Adelaide staggered along and flipped over a vase that contained nothing.
The key rolled out with a clear sound.
‘Why would you hide your key in a room where you’re the only one who can come in?’
Adelaide clenched the key and groaned. Even thinking about it again, it was strange. Inside the vase, it must have been a place where he had decided to hide it properly.
It was as if someone was trying to enter this place.
