S-Class Dungeon’s Mistress - Chapter 109
Chapter 109
At the majestic declaration, the demons fervently applauded Adelaide. Adelaide responded with a seemingly arrogant smile and relaxed hand gestures. As the owner of a C-Class dungeon, she was very calm and beautiful. But that too lasted only for a moment. Less than a minute later, Adelaide smirked again. She had a silly face as usual.
“How did I look? I looked kinda cool right?” Adelaide forced them to answer.
She seemed obsessed with the dungeon’s rapid growth and her own jaw-dropping appearance. Needless to say, the golden chair she bought with all her heart was not very comfortable to sit on, but regardless, it looked amazing.
The clothes that Lisianthus made with great care while preparing for the reopening were also unique. Thanks to her earnest request, plaid was nowhere to be found. Look at this gorgeous cloak right here! She just wore it but she already felt as strong as her devils. It’s only natural, strong demons would have fluttering cloaks, wouldn’t they?
“Well, if you didn’t say that, then yes, it might have been a little cool.”
Caladium retorted, twisting the corners of his lips. The truth was she looked really cool. It goes without saying that she had always been beautiful, but it was the first time he had ever considered her cool since their duel with the Sol Dungeon.
‘Should I also buy a cloak or a golden chair?’ Caladium pondered inwardly. His level of thoughts didn’t stray much from Adelaide’s.
“You were so cool, Adelaide!”
“The master is always cool.”
Her demons sent praises towards her. Adelaide nodded her head as if she was finally satisfied and then pulled out the dungeon pad.
“Okay, let’s open the portal now!”
Her demons looked up at her with great anticipation. Lupinus soon joined the ranks as well. He so naturally blended amongst the demons in just a week that it was hard to believe that they had once aimed knives at each other.
With a determined face, Adelaide touched the pad. She pressed the button for unlocking the external portal.
Currently, there were a total of three external portals in Greenville Dungeon. One leading to Darfur Forest, another to Esperanza, and the last to Mediar.
The one they were unlocking now was the portal to Mediar to attract warriors. They were done with the dungeon’s renovations, so they didn’t need to wait any longer.
Tuk. Her finger pressed the OK button that appeared on the screen.
[The long-distance portal to ‘Mediar’ has been unlocked.]
“Done!” Adelaide exclaimed.
The demons clapped their hands again and cheered. Their precious guests would start arriving soon. Since they were a C-Class, there would surely be more customers than ever before! She looked at the pad with anticipation.
Unfortunately, the dungeon was quiet. So was the pad. She turned off the alarms throughout the dungeon in anticipation of many warriors coming, but still, if someone came, a red mark should appear on the pad, yet nothing came up. That meant no one was attacking.
After 5 minutes, there was still no change. It seemed like it would take some time for the warriors to find Greenville Dungeon. Or perhaps it was an off-peak season and the number of warriors themselves decreased.
“Shall we go out like last time and spread the word? That Greenville Dungeon has bricaber?”
Adelaide asked with a sullen face. She expected that as soon as she opened the portal to her now C-Class dungeon, warriors would be pouring in. Lisianthus’ soft voice soothed her heart.
“No. There’s no need to rush, Adele. We don’t have to spread the rumors ourselves. No matter how hard you try to hide valuable information, it will certainly spread quickly.”
“Even if just one or two warriors come, everyone will quickly know.” He said with a smile in his eyes.
* * *
It didn’t take long for Lisianthus’ words to come true. A lot has changed in just two weeks.
The battle space within Greenville Dungeon, which had been always quiet, was quickly filled with countless warriors. Just like he said, rumors of bricaber’s presence quickly went around.
Bricaber had always been a dungeon product that was scarce in supply compared to the demand. And because it was so rare, whenever a story got around about a new source, the warriors would rush in in an instant.
However, since it was usually found in a B-Class dungeon or higher, there were many mid level warriors who could not even dare to attack. That was why to them, Greenville was like a welcome source of water, similar to rain that had blessed them after a very long time of drought.
Thus, the Greenville Dungeon was filled with warriors who were trying to somehow get their hands on bricaber leaves. It was much worse than when they advertised that they had serpium ore. Many fights broke out over who should enter the portal first, and it was definitely much more popular than other C-Class dungeons.
Thanks to being a C-Class dungeon, the level of the warriors who came to visit also increased considerably. Low level warriors could hardly be found now, and mostly mid level warriors would attack in groups. Occasionally, high level warriors also pop up to get bricaber leaves.
The number of their kills had also increased exponentially compared to when they only killed low-level warriors. This was because, the stronger the ability of the dead warriors, the more concentrated their soul fragments would be. This would then equate to a higher kill count. As a result, rewards continued to flow in.
Her demons had also become quite busy because the warriors kept attacking. Although, it was not as hard if you were to compare it during Greenville’s E-Class days.
They had enough time to rest, and there were no injuries because Caladium was always there to provide support whenever the situation became dangerous. On holidays, they enjoyed taking a walk in the garden as well as taking a bath in the large communal bath.
The trap rooms were largely the reason that they were able to relax like this. The warriors had to go through several small traps and two trap rooms before fighting the demons, and most of them were killed by the traps without even having the chance of seeing their faces.
The two trap rooms in Greenville Dungeon were actually not very high-grade. Even if they suddenly became rich, it was difficult to buy a high-grade trap room. The low-grade ones were already very expensive, so Adelaide eventually purchased and installed two D-Class trap rooms.
She was overjoyed when she finally got her hands on trap rooms that she had always wanted, but unfortunately, they did not have much effect on the high level warriors due to their low grade.
But things have changed since the devils managed the trap rooms. Lisianthus and Caladium didn’t weren’t even ordered to, but they took over one trap room each and started to work on them. The flow of magic entering the trap rooms was very complicated so it was an idea that most demons could not have ever dreamed of, but the two devils in charge of the traps completed the transformation without difficulty.
Originally, the trap room Lisianthus was in charge of was a phantom type and had a curse on it that attacked the souls of the warriors entering and leaving. However, this would have no effect on strong warriors who were immune to curses. As a countermeasure, Lisianthus slightly twisted the flow of magic and inserted his own power. As a result, once cursed, they would go insane and recognize other warriors as monsters.
The warriors who entered the trap room would eventually harm their comrades. A warrior with immunity could avoid the curse, but would still have to deal with other warriors who were trying to kill him. Thanks to this, many more warriors died in the trap room.
On the other hand, the trap room Caladium was in charge of was similar to that in the Boraca Dungeon. In its normal state, when a certain number of warriors came in, it would simply shoot fire from the walls and floors. However, the firepower seemed to be completely lacking in Caladium’s eyes and used his powers to make some changes to the trap. He made lava gush out instead of flames, just like when they made a DIY trap.
Hell lava, which melted any object, slaughtered the warriors without difficulty. Sometimes, the amount was so great that the lava would overflow into the surrounding rooms.
“To melt and kill with lava, it is filthy. You have to clean up the garbage yourself.”
“Shut up, you creepy b*st*rd. Psychological attacks are just as gloomy as your personality, right?”
Lisianthus and Caladium would often fight, claiming that the trap room they had modified was stronger. Adelaide was a good dungeon master and judged them fairly. She decided to count the number of warriors who died in each trap for a month. With a slightly higher number, Lisianthus came out victorious.
‘Good. Very good.’
Adelaide smiled happily every evening whenever she browsed the dungeon pad. Every time she saw the accumulated assets, she would smile.

Kuukuu. We succeeded. We succeeded.
Adelaide was filled with emotions as she recalled the days when they were still an F-Class dungeon. After two weeks of repairing then opening the dungeon, the rating went up by one more.
Although the number of registered demons was still small, this was not a concern. The number of applicants has been pouring in these days. She was worried whether she could find a useful demon among all the applicants, but considering even a mere Ladybug rejected her in the past, she should stop complaining.
“At this rate, we are going to become an S-Class really soon! Hyuu, I’m in trouble!”
Adelaide grinned and praised herself. In her head, she was already thinking of publishing a book titled “The Best Dungeon Master Who Achieved S-Class Fastest: Adelaide”.
However, in a rather soft voice, Lisianthus poured cold water on her fiery dreams.
“It will be easy to get to C-1, but it will be difficult to break into B-Class. I heard that the criteria for upgrading the Class are strict.”
“Huh? For the requirements, isn’t it all about combat power and the number of warriors killed? It has always been like that.”
Adelaide checked her dungeon pad. The only requirement left for becoming a C-3 level was the number of warriors killed. In the first place, there was no need to look at the requirements because it has been a while since they met the conditions of becoming an A-Class.
“It is different for B-Class. Two additional conditions must be met. One is always changing and difficult to predict, but the other has been the same for over a hundred years.”
“What is it?”
Adelaide asked in a not-so-worried voice. Perhaps it was because they had easily achieved the difficult C-Class so an unknown confidence surged. How difficult was it for him to say that it was difficult? She snorted.
“To win a war against dungeons C-Class or higher. That is the condition.”
