Records Of Barton's Fantastical Events - Chapter 121
Chapter 121: Chapter 22 Truth
“Are you talking about wolves?”
The vampire felt a chill on the back of his neck. This was a very normal guess, but when the werewolf was around, it was better not to say it.
“I don’t know.” I have never seen, seen a dog, or a wolf, that big before! It is just like a bear! Black, like the color of the night sky!” Neil’s face was full of fear, “but its teeth…cold and white…”
Zach frowned. ‘Neil and Tiffany’s disappearance occurred one day after the full moon, so they shouldn’t be the werewolf. Could it be the illusion of Tulpa? The content of the fantasy was that the two were eaten by a big black dog or wolf? If this is the truth, then this guy’s imagination is really something else.’
“You said it attacked you, but you were not injured.” Zach thought for a while, “In fact, none of your clothes are damaged.”
“No!” Neil’s head began to shake, and Zach continued to held his chin to prevent his eyes from leaving him. The hypnotizing eyes that were supposed to confuse other people’s consciousness have now become the only support for the other party to maintain his sanity.
“It bit Tiffany’s head! Right in front of my eyes!”
Neil’s body struggled, and Zach’s arms pressed hard and his face moved closer to him, “She’s fine, she’s lying next to you, you know it, right? She was not injured either, but now she will hurt herself, you have to help us, and then we can help her, not let her hurt herself. Do you understand?”
The struggling body calmed down again, and the veins on the vampire’s forehead have become bulging. Zach felt a trace of fatigue.
As Neil kept muttering ‘I want to help Tiffany’, Zach continued to ask, “What happened then?”
“I, I want to hold her, but, I, I was caught by another monster! It, its claws were like blades! Stabbed into my body! Pulled me out of the bus!”
“Two?” Zach asked again. If these were the new ‘things’ made by Papa Midnight, and if there were two of them, then the vampire who hasn’t even solved Revenge’s problem would be very depressed.
“No! A group!” Neil’s eyes widened.
This answer was terrible.
“And then?” Zach said with a sullen face, “You have been missing for nearly four days, what happened in these four days?”
“We, we were tortured!” Neil’s face was full of fear, “They bit our bodies… I, I saw my own internal organs… They ate Tiffany…”
“I said it before! Tiffany is fine, she was not hurt at all!” Zach had already begun to be a little impatient. If the man hadn’t been looking at his red pupils, he would’ve thought that this lunatic had already gotten out of the control of the hypnotizing eyes.
Zach continued to strengthen his control, “You too, you don’t have any injuries. Both of you are very healthy, no one hurts you. The only person who will hurt you now is yourself. You have to help us find the reasons that made you become like this, for yourself, and more importantly, for Tiffany, do you understand? !”
“I…I…” Neil stared his eyes, his jaw trembling constantly, and confusion appeared in his eyes. It was not the confusion caused by the hypnotizing eyes trying to invade the brain, but the confusion caused by the conflict of reality. If you need an example, Kyle who found out that ‘Connor’ was still alive was one.
“I, I saw it! They… killed us, over and over again… There was no end… he, he kept asking us… who, who opened the door…”
‘One more pronoun?’
Zach wanted to try his best to find a little breakthrough in the words that seemed to be a madman’s raving.
“Who is he, tell me where you were first.”
Sizzle-
The red reflected in Neil’s eyes was suddenly replaced by a burst of white light! The vampire suddenly bounced from the bedside, covering his eyes that exuded dazzling white light, and moved back several steps!
Without the control of the hypnotizing eyes, Neil’s thinking was instantly distracted. Just as he opened his mouth, Benjamin’s hand had already grabbed the rubber gag by the bed and put it back into his mouth! His broad palms then tightly pressed Neil’s head which began to shake violently!
“What’s going on!” The muscles of Benjamin’s shoulders stretched, holding Neil’s forehead and chin with both hands, and looking sideways at Zach, who lowered his head and covered his eyes. There was a burning stench in the air.
Benjamin frowned, freed one hand and picked up the united belt, fastened it again, and continued to shout to the vampire, “Are you alright? !”
“No.” Zach’s voice was cold; the hand pressed under his forehead slowly moved away, revealing his closed eyes.
The sunken eyelids of the vampire slowly squirmed and bulged, forming the shape of an eyeball, turning slightly. His eyelashes moved up slowly in the trembling, revealing a tiny gap in his eyes.
Benjamin watched the vampire, his hands kept moving. Neil had been put on the mouth cover again, and the belts on his forehead and neck were tightened again.
Benjamin left the bed and walked to Zach, holding Zach’s shoulders. Benjamin was much taller than Zach, and the werewolf stared at the vampire’s slowly opening eyes with his head lowered.
White, no pupils or irises, only a circle of faint red printed on the position where the pupils should be. Benjamin’s constricted pupils could see that the red silk thread was slowly extending into the circle, trying to reconstruct the pupil, forming the structure of the eyeball.
“You are blind.” Benjamin frowned and asked.
“I know.” Zach replied coldly, “They got burned, I need to heal myself.”
“What did you see?”
This was a very mindless question. If the vampire could ‘see’, there was no need for him to ask. But now, the vampire’s eyes were burned and crippled. The only possibility was that he saw something that he shouldn’t have seen and suffered a backlash.
Zach had already taken the liquor bottle in his hand, unscrewed the bottle mouth; a pair of white eyes looked forward blankly, and the bottom of the bottle had turned to face the ceiling.
“Not enough.” Zach put away the bottle, the red circle in his eyes was still thin. He patted Benjamin on the shoulder, his lips were drawn back, his sharp teeth protruding in front of the werewolf’s face. Even without eyesight, the vampire could still pinpoint where his food was!
Benjamin frowned, trying not to see the vampire sucking blood; at the same time, he blocked Tiffany’s sight. Even if she had a mental disorder, she would not want to see her husband being treated as a blood bank.
Neil’s struggle gradually weakened, and even the terrifying bloodshot eyes faded a lot.
Zach raised his head in satisfaction, and the tip of his tongue licked off the bright red remaining on the tips of the teeth when they were retracted. The eyes closed because of comfort gradually opened, and the crimson on the iris slowly contracted toward the pupil, and then receded deep into the eyeball, leaving only a pair of normal light green eyes.
Zach’s gaze moved down, watching Neil, who had fallen asleep, and the two wounds on his neck were slowly healing. Zach let out a long sigh.
“What happened?” Benjamin asked again, “What is it?”
“Huh.” Zach turned around and smiled helplessly, “We were wrong. It’s not Papa Midnight, nor is it a Tulpa.” Zach looked at Benjamin, “Benjamin, do you know where they were in those days?”
Benjamin’s brows tightened, watching Zach and waiting for an answer.
“Hell.” Zach revealed the answer, “They were dragged into hell by the Hellhound.”
The atrium of Quest Manor was not large, and the swimming pool and surrounding facilities have taken for more than half of the space. The observant people would find that there was no Zach’s reflection next to half of Benjamin’s reflection. But now there was no one in this atrium, only a man dressed as a servant, when he saw Grande’s two brothers coming out, he immediately turned around, seemingly to notify the master.
When Zach and Benjamin returned to the main hall, Quest hurriedly walked over. He ordered several servants to return to the suite, his face still gloomy, but he looked at them expectantly.
“How is it? What did you discover?”
“Very smooth.” Zach smiled. This smile was very sincere. Neil’s taste was good. If he could, the vampire would say ‘thanks for the hospitality’.
Benjamin rubbed his nose, his eyes drifting to one side boredly, Zach always did the job of speaking.
“We got the name of the kidnapper.” Zach ignored Quest’s anxiety and excitement and deliberately slowed down.
“Who? ! Who is it! !”
As soon as Zach finished, the master of this Quest manor who had a strong desire to control shouted loudly. It went so well that Zach felt bad to continue to keep him in suspense.
“Daniel.” Zach said a name.
“Who? ! Who is he!”
“Oh no.” Zach frowned hypocritically, “Mr. Quest, I’m so sorry for disclosing unnecessary information. We should bring him here and complete the request.”
Grande’s two brothers turned around and walked outside the manor.
“Wait!” Quest stepped forward and grabbed Zach’s arm in a startled manner, “Who is Daniel? ! You do not need to complete the request! Tell Me. Who is Daniel! I can find him myself!”
Benjamin couldn’t bear to look at Zach’s eyebrows that were frowning even more tightly.
“Mr. Quest, do you want to change the request again?” Zach turned his face and looked at Quest, very dissatisfied.
“Yes! I want to change it! I want this person’s full name! Daniel, Daniel what? !”
Zach shook off Quest’s hand, and said coldly, “Mr. Quest, are you playing with Grande?”
“No…”
“That’s it! You are a terrible client, and now Grande is no longer interested in your request!”
“Wait!” Quest chased after the two people, “wait…”
Benjamin turned around, his sturdy arm directly pushed away Quest who was about to grab Zach again. The servants in the main hall lowered their heads and watched their master fall on the gray floor tiles.
Zach stood behind Benjamin and glanced at Quest coldly, “For the last request’s payment, please send the check to Grande’s mailbox. Good luck, Mr. Quest.”
Benjamin’s truck started and drove out of the manor. The security guards looked at the faces of the two people in the truck, and then looked at the master standing inside the manor door, who was trembling with anger but did not order to stop; so they let them go.
The truck was heading out of the Western District.
“Are you sure that that Tulpa has been dragged back to hell by the hellhound?” Benjamin turned on the radio button with one hand, hoping to find a channel that suited his interests.
Zach shrugged, “Who cares. The gate of hell has been opened, and those guard dogs (Hellhound) have owners again, and the souls wandering in the world are their owners’ favorite things. What do you think?”
Benjamin’s smacked his lips and his head tilted. For Alpha, it was really difficult to choose between a group of demons’ loyal dogs and a Tulpa at the bottom of the nonhumans’ social hierarchy.
“We have more important things to do now.” Zach stretched his body, seeming to be thinking about something serious, “go and tell James that I was wrong, um, or go to the church to find the guy who burned my eyes. Which one should I do first?”
Benjamin found a radio station, moved his fingers with the rhythm, and looked at Zach with a smile, “How about James first.”
“Oh, Ben!” Zach looked at Benjamin, “I’m so sad!”
“Ben, Ja, Min.”
Now Benjamin decided to really go to James first.
