Rebirth of the Heavenly Empress - Chapter 169
Chapter 169: Help You Get Even
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion.
When Su Huiqing looked over, the last bit of the car window closed up and covered the person inside.
That car also started moving away.
“Qingqing, that car looks cool.” Qu Yan took a bite off a bun as she exclaimed at the sight of Song San’s car.
Su Huiqing retracted her gaze slowly, glanced down slightly, and spoke with a mild tone. “Indeed, it looks quite good.”
It was a new car, probably a new model from the racing team in the International Association.
Su Huiqing stuffed her hand into her pocket and walked in the direction of the school gate. “Let’s go and collect our military uniforms.”
The meeting time was 7:30 A.M.
It was now past 6 A.M.—after eating, queuing, going back to the room for a change of clothes, they would be almost on time.
Su Huiqing’s buttons were undone as she put on the belt and totally felt like a different person.
The sea-blue colored military uniform which seemed slightly bloated actually seemed exceedingly handsome on her.
“Why are you still standing there?” Su Huiqing looked sideways and secured the cap on her head. “Let’s go after we change.”
Qu Yan and Qing Zi immediately changed up.
From last night, the three of them had not seen the other person in the room, Bertha.
Till they went downstairs to gather did the three of them finally see her on the field.
Bertha had a very exquisite face and was being surrounded by people in the class. Beside her stood a slightly handsome youth.
The youth was wearing an instructor’s uniform. The only difference between him and the other instructors was that there were two stars on his epaulet.
To be at such a military rank at such an age was very rare.
In comparison, over at Su Huiqing’s side, it seemed quiet.
The freshmen were also judgmental. Most of them weren’t from the International Association. If they wanted to stay on after graduating, they could only depend on other powers.
Within a day, Bertha was already a well-known identity among the freshmen in the military base.
The military base was the power that could get close to the top three heads the most effortlessly. It was extremely influential in the International Association.
The others jumped at the opportunity to get into their good books.
Bertha looked at Su Huiqing coldly as she felt the anger that had cooped inside for almost a day dissipate slightly.
Initially, she intended to ignore Su Huiqing. However, Bertha’s gaze flashed as she suddenly dragged the youth beside her, looked over at Su Huiqing, and smiled discreetly. “For your information, this is my boyfriend who’s also the instructor of the class next door.
Bertha’s boyfriend glanced at Su Huiqing and the other two. When he couldn’t find any information on these three people in his mind, he naturally knew that they weren’t the descendants of any influential families.
He acknowledged mildly.
And very quickly looked away.
He was unconcerned.
“When we complete the military training, I’ll get him to invite you guys to the Imperial for a meal.” Bertha covered her mouth and laughed.
The others in the class looked at Su Huiqing and the rest, slightly envious.
At this instant, even Qing Zi gasped.
Qu Yan looked at Qing Zi with questioning eyes, and Qing Zi explained softly, “The Imperial is the only superstar-level hotel in the world. It only attends to the super-rich with its own beach and villas attached. It welcomes its guests with its personal helicopters.”
It seemed rather high-class.
Qu Yan touched her nose instinctively and looked towards Su Huiqing.
There was no change in Su Huiqing’s expression as she reached out and pressed on her cap.
Then she leisurely did her last button. It wasn’t obvious if she heard Bertha.
She seemed rather mysterious.
“She offended you?” Bertha’s boyfriend glanced in Su Huiqing’s direction.
Bertha fiddled with the cap in her hand and sneered upon hearing it. “Nothing major. I was a little upset yesterday and thought which family is she from—in the end, she merely came from a small place and still dared to be so unrestrained.”
The boyfriend beside her smiled mildly. “The incapable people who dare to be so unrestrained in the International Association don’t live long.”
“Have we arranged for the instructor?” Bertha touched her perfectly manicured nails as her red lips curled up. “Let her know whose territory the International Association is. At the same time, let her experience what is called capability. Over here, even a dragon has to submit to me—so ignorant, and she still came to Monster University.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve made the arrangements and will help you get even.” Her boyfriend laughed. “The instructors are gathering everyone—go line up.”
Satisfied, Bertha put on her cap and stood in line with her class.
Everyone in the class saved her the most conspicuous space.
Although there were less than a thousand freshmen, when everyone stood on the field, it was exceptionally awe-inspiring.
The instructors of the other classes had already stood in their respective positions except for theirs.
Bertha frowned.
Could something have cropped up?
It was also then when blaring sounds were suddenly heard from the sky above the field.
Everyone looked up instinctively. Some people could already tell that this was the sound of a helicopter.
It was a fighter jet with a purple-tint gold orchid shape on its side.
Under the sunlight, cold and harsh light reflected from it.
The helicopter landed not far away.
At first, a few bodyguards in black alighted and stood tall on either side of the door of the helicopter.
Then, an aged figure alighted.
Almost everyone present gasped as they could probably tell that this was the enigmatic, almost mythical in Monster University, and extremely capable Principal Dien!
However, after Principal Dien alighted, he didn’t walk. Instead, he stood aside and looked at the door.
At this time, another slightly cold figure alighted from the helicopter.
He was also clad in military uniform.
The scorching sun seemed to reflect off the unbelievably handsome face.
Making him appear even more majestic.
He put on his cap and looked directly in the direction of Su Huiqing’s class.
