Pika Pika No Mi In Marvel - Chapter 1
Chapter 1: I… I’m Jean Grey
“Yu, take a deep breath, focus your thoughts within your body, and then control your ability to transform into elements without letting it spread.”
“Deep breath…”
“Inhale…”
Zavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, inside the classroom, a class on controlling mutant abilities is in progress. The teacher is Hank, Professor X’s trusted assistant and a highly intelligent scientist nicknamed Beast.
Presently, Hank is not in his rugged beast form with blue fur, but rather a slender, bookish-looking man wearing thick glasses. He attentively guides a young Asian boy, who appears to be around seven or eight years old, teaching him how to control his own abilities.
There are approximately fifteen other mutant children seated in the classroom.
Each one of them widened their eyes, observing the delicate and handsome boy named “Yu,” their expressions filled with curiosity.
Being able to transform one’s body into elements? It seems like a fascinating ability!
Among the fifteen mutant children, there is one girl sitting somewhat isolated from the others. She remains in a corner, keeping her head down, giving off an aura of solitude.
However, upon hearing Hank’s words, she couldn’t resist raising her head to curiously glance in their direction.
Her gaze briefly shifts to the Asian boy named “Yu,” with his black hair, and her eyes light up with a strange glimmer as if she is genuinely interested in him.
But soon, her expression dulls, and she bites her lip, displaying a conflicted look.
“Um…”
Yu Feng gazes at the person in front of him, uttering strange words, and remains speechless for a while.
Focus his thoughts? Transform his body into elements? Has he lost his mind?
He looks around.
Then he looks at his own hands, which have noticeably shrunk and become soft and tender. In the next moment, a hint of strangeness and complexity flashes in his eyes.
I… have I transmigrated?
And have I become a child?
Yu Feng never imagined that after reading countless transmigration novels, he would become one of the many transmigrators.
But where am I now? What kind of world is this?
He tries to search his mind but finds nothing. It’s as if he appeared out of thin air, without any trace of his past.
This confuses Yu Feng to the point that even when the person in front of him, resembling a teacher with thick glasses, calls him multiple times, he doesn’t respond.
“Yu, how do you feel? Can you control your abilities? Did you hear what I said?”
Hank shouts several times, feeling somewhat frustrated by the Asian boy’s absent-mindedness. Well, he isn’t as adept as Professor Charles Xavier at teaching children, after all…
“Um, I…”
Yu Feng finally started to react and opened his mouth, but doesn’t know what to say.
Just then, Hank pats his shoulder, encouraging him, and says with a smile:
“Yu, it’s okay. Go back to your seat for now. Watch how others control their abilities, and then you can try later. Perhaps by then, you’ll be able to control your own abilities.”
Hearing this, Yu Feng vaguely understands that this world must be one with “special abilities.”
So, I’ve traveled to an extraordinary world…
While pondering this, Yu Feng nods and says, “Mm,” then prepares to find a seat and observe the abilities these kids possess. Maybe it will give him a clue about the world he has traveled to.
When the other children see Yu Feng return without demonstrating the miraculous “elemental” ability, they feel somewhat disappointed.
However, children will be children, and…
Their attention is quickly captured by the second child called up to the front—a blond-haired boy with a missing front tooth.
Yu Feng prefers more spacious and less crowded areas.
So when he spots a relatively roomy spot in a corner with only one little girl sitting there, he decisively walks over and takes the seat in front of her.
Little does he know that his action attracts the gaze of the other children, who all look at him with peculiar expressions, no longer paying attention to the front.
Yu Feng furrows his brows, feeling a bit puzzled.
Am I so handsome that these little brats are paying such close attention to me?
Just then, Hank’s voice resounds, diverting the attention of the children once again. Yu Feng can’t help but roll his eyes and then looks towards the front with a serious expression.
“Little John, what ability do you have?”
This time, Hank tries a different approach, guiding the children to discover and understand their own abilities on their own, and then learn to control them.
This boy named Little John, with his missing front tooth but a propensity for smiling, giving off a slightly foolish impression, says, “Hank, I can make my body go soft.”
“Oh? Can you show us?” Hank feels the rhythm is right, smiling kindly, wanting to resemble Professor Charles Xavier as much as possible.
“No problem.”
Little John readily nods, seeming a bit excited, and then… um, he lies down on the ground.
Silence fills the room.
Hank is taken aback and asks in confusion, “Little John, what are you doing? Get up from the floor. It’s dirty, and you’ll soil your clothes…”
As he says this, he reaches out to pull Little John up.
However, as soon as his hand grabs the boy’s shoulder, the shoulder elongates like a noodle, while Little John remains lying on the ground. Suddenly, his neck twists in a bizarre 180-degree turn, and he looks at Hank with an excited expression, as if wanting to be praised:
“Hank, this is my ability. Isn’t it great?”
“Oh, uh, yes, it’s a really great ability…”
Hank can’t help twitching his mouth, appearing polite but embarrassed.
Seated in his spot, Yu Feng watches with a bewildered expression.
What kind of ability is this? It startled him!
While silently searching in his mind for people from which world would possess this peculiar ability to soften their bodies, a soft and somewhat nervous voice suddenly resonates in his mind.
“Um, hello…”
“Hmm? Who?”
Yu Feng looks around in confusion.
“I… I’m Jean Grey… I’m right behind you…”
