Chapter 97 The Disgusting Video
Right now in room 6011, it was quiet with no one else other than Qin Xiaozhi and the twin brothers from the Qin Family. Qin Xiaozhi was leaning against the sofa resting with his eyes closed while the twins stood guard on the other side.
The loud noise of the door crashing down sent the twins into a defensive mode as they stood guard in front of Qin Xiaozhi to protect him. Both of them only relaxed when they saw that the man who came in was Qin Jinhuan. They then greeted him respectfully.
“You guys should leave first.” Qin Xiaozhi slowly opened his eyes.
“Yes, Old Master.”
The twins immediately complied and left, closing the door behind them.
Qin Xiaozhi straightened his back, then he beckoned for him and said, “Come over, and sit down. First, finish up this bowl of bird’s nest porridge. Then, we can have a talk.”
“Why would you use your dirty tactics to try to subdue Yu again and again?” Qin Jinhuan wasn’t in the mood for any niceties and went straight to the point.
“This is an exquisite blood-red bird’s nest that was boiled together with some other expensive and nutritious herbs.” Qin Xiaozhi ignored his accusations and carried the bowl of bird’s nest toward Qin Jinhuan.
Qin Jinhuan was enraged when he saw that his grandfather didn’t take the matter with Mu Yu seriously. He raised his hand and knocked over the bowl of bird’s nest porridge. With a fierce expression, he accused again, “Seeing that you successfully retrieved everything that Qing Tian Group has lost, I won’t look into the West Bay incident anymore. But, since you promised me to accept Yu, why would you still harm her? I’m telling you, even if I wasn’t with her, I will never marry Dong Wanqing!”
“You ungrateful child! How can you behave like this?!” It was as if Qin Xiaozhi was deaf to everything that he had mentioned and with a hurt expression, he looked down at the bowl of bird’s nest porridge on the ground. “That was a nutritious bowl of bird’s nest porridge! How could you just waste it like that?!”
“In your eyes, this stupid bowl of bird’s nest is more important than Yu’s innocence?!” Qin Jinhuan violently kicked the bowl in front of him into pieces.
If the person that was standing in front of him right now wasn’t his grandfather but someone else, he would have already beaten that person up for harming Mu Yu.
“How is her innocence related to this bowl of porridge?”
Qin Jinhuan grinded his teeth in anger. “Qin Xiaozhi, I’m warning you! If you do this to Yu again, don’t blame me for being merciless!”
Qin Xiaozhi immediately became upset. “You dare speak to your grandfather in this tone over a mere woman? Do you care about her that much?”
“Of course I do! She’s my wife!”
“Are your feelings toward this woman real?”
“Yes!”
“No, that’s not possible! You’re an exceptional man. How could you fall in love with an ordinary woman?” Disbelief etched all over Qin Xiaozhi’s face.
“She might be ordinary to you, but to me, she’s the most unique woman in the entire world. I love her and I will not tolerate anyone harming her! I will destroy those who do!” Qin Jinhuan glared at his grandfather when he said that, obviously warning him.
“From what I’ve gathered, it looks like you’ve already decided to spend the rest of your life with her?”
“Of course!”
“Oh?” Qin Xiaozhi stared at him with interest for a few moments before sitting down and saying, “That’s good.” Then, he reached for his cup and took a sip of his warm tea.
Qin Jinhuan did not miss the weird expression that his grandfather made. Thinking that his grandfather was plotting new schemes against Mu Yu, he laughed inwardly and announced, “From today onward, Yu and I will not be staying at the Prosperous Manor.”
“What? Are you saying that you are moving out?” Qin Xiaozhi’s facial expression immediately changed. He stood up and protested, “No! I will not agree to this!”
“This is between Yu and I. I don’t need your approval.”
“Huan! I will allow you to move out, but…” Qin Xiaozhi rushed to stop Qin Jinhuan who was preparing to leave. “You must give me a reason for it.”
Qin Jinhuan turned around and looked at him coldly. “The spiked wine that Yu drank today is enough of a reason! Mu Yu is legally my wife and I am responsible to look after her. I won’t let anyone take advantage of her!”
“That glass of red wine was—”
“Stop trying to push the blame onto Dong Wanqing! I’m not blind!”
“Fine, even if it was my doing, weren’t you by her side the whole night?”
He finally admitted.
Qin Jinhuan snorted, “I bet you wished it wasn’t me, right? Sorry to disappoint.”
Qin Xiaozhi chuckled and corrected him.“You got it all wrong. I’m not disappointed. Instead, my wish came true!”
“Came true? What came true?” Qin Jinhuan was surprised.
Did his cunning grandfather have other tricks up his sleeves?!
“My wish ‘came true’ meant that you finally realized what you want, what you care about and who you should treat nicely.”
“What do you mean?” Qin Jinhuan was confused by his grandfather’s cryptic words.
“Am I not being obvious enough?”
His grandfather’s delighted expression took him aback. Making him more confused.
From his words, it seems like he really hopes for Mu Yu and I to be together. But, how is that possible? He has been protesting against our relationship from the day she stepped into our house!
Moreover, he also tried to attack Mu Yu by using dirty schemes repeatedly in hopes to ruin her reputation.
“Did she surprise you tonight?”
Qin Jinhuan immediately thought about the blood on the sheets, making him tense up.

“Sit down. I want to show you something.” Qin Xiaozhi reached out to the remote control on the coffee table. He pointed it toward the television on the wall and pressed on it.
Qin Jinhuan, who was filled with questions, did not sit down. He stared keenly at the screen of the television that was starting to turn on.
The scene was directed to the entrance of the room. A man in a bathing robe with his back facing the camera opened the door. In the next scene, Mu Yu appeared and talked to him with a small smile. Not long after, she threw herself into the man’s arms. Both of them embraced each other for a while before the man picked her up and brought her into the room. Then, the man’s face flashed in front of the screen.
It was Yi Yunzhe.
Right then, the scene in the video coincided with his memories of what had happened that day. Being poked in his sore spot, his anger immediately rose up again. He pointed toward the screen and roared with hatred, “I can’t believe that you saved this disgusting video! Does watching this video again make you feel a sense of accomplishment?”
One had to know that this video would be a humiliation for the rest of Qin Jinhuan’s life.
“I have watched the complete version of this video and specially saved it for you to watch.”
“Qin Xiaozhi! You’re a disgrace! Do you know that you’re being absolutely shameless?” Qin Jinhuan was so angry that he took the remote control and was preparing to throw it to the screen.
“Huan!” Qin Xiaozhi immediately held onto his hand and yelled, “Don’t you have many questions yourself? Don’t you want it answered? Listen to me and watch the whole thing! You won’t be disappointed by what happens in the end! You will definitely not! Trust me!”
The later part of that sentence made Qin Jinhuan calm down a little as he tried to suppress his emotions. Staring closely at the screen as if it were a movie, he patiently waited to see what will happen next.
Back then, Yi Yunzhe had only sent him a part of the video that was edited and cut short to about a minute. He had not seen the implied ‘hot scene’ that happened in the next part of the video and all of his anger as well as regret were made up by himself.
He was even more confused by what happened earlier when he realized that Mu Yu was still well intact. Right now, he really needed an explanation. However he was also in a dilemma as he was afraid that he would see scenes that he didn’t want to see.
“Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed!” Qin Xiaozhi cheerfully reminded him.
Still overwhelmed with doubt, Qin Jinhuan focused on the screen.
Right then, what happened on the screen piqued his interest and he unconsciously walked closer to the television. Unmovingly, he stared at the screen with surprise and disbelief written all over his face.
What happened after the first part of the video went like this: After Yi Yunzhe laid Mu Yu on the bed, he reached out to try to remove her clothing. Suddenly, a man showed up behind him and knocked him out. After he fainted, the man stuffed a pill into his mouth and removed his clothing. He scattered Yi Yunzhe’s clothing around the floor and left, leaving him on the bed. After a few seconds, a masked woman came in and disheveled the unconscious Mu Yu’s clothing and hair. Then, after moving her closer to Yi Yunzhe to make it look like they were ‘cuddling’, she left too.
The scene then stopped at the moment he barged into Yi Yunzhe’s room.
“You’re my grandson and Yu is my granddaughter-in-law. For the greater good, there are some things that I had to burden you guys with. But, I would never actually hurt you guys.” His grandfather’s gentle voice rang next to his ear.
He turned his head and looked at his grandfather, still not fully comprehending everything. “Wasn’t Yu taken advantage of that day? How is she…”
Understanding his grandson, he asked, “You must be thinking that the incident tonight was similar to that at West Bay, am I right?”
Seeing Qin Jinhuan nod his head, he chuckled and continued, “If you found her ten minutes later, you would have missed her agony and only see her sleeping peacefully.”
“I don’t understand.”
“She did drink something that she wasn’t supposed to. However, the drugs she took weren’t those you were thinking about. It is a special sleeping pill that I requested Lei Zhi to prescribe for her, with its early responses to the medicine being similar to those drugs that you thought about.”
“What?!” Qin Jinhuan was stunned. “Why didn’t you tell me about this earlier?”
He caused him to hesitate for so long and even caused him to lose control tonight.
“There were two reasons why I didn’t want to tell you. Firstly, you have always assumed that I was the one who harmed Yu. Even if I told you, you wouldn’t have believed me.
