The terms on the contract were written as followed, ‘During the stipulated period of the contract, Xin Xin Multimedia Group can at any point of time withdraw the funds that they have invested in Yuchi. If Yuchi can pay them back in cash within a day, then the Xin Xin Multimedia Group has to pay 30% of the penalty fee. If Yuchi is unable to do so, then the Sky International Hotel will belong to the Xin Xin Multimedia Group.’

“How did it turn out like this?! Didn’t we agree upon one month? Since when did it become a day? This contract is a fake!” Yi Yunzhe stared at the terms of the contract. His face was full of disbelief.

The reason he agreed to Shang Huining’s request to withdraw his investment was because he planned to use Yuchi’s business as collateral to take a loan from the bank to solve the desperate situation he was in now as he could earn 30% of the penalty fee. This was a huge sum of money. Hence, it could help Yuchi, which was facing a financial crisis, minimize their losses.

“And ours as well,” the heads of several companies echoed their sentiments.

Seeing as Qin Jinhuan had already started walking, Mu Yu who was still feeling sorry for the Yi family followed him uneasily. “Huan, where are we going?”

Qin Jinhuan did not answer her, instead, he held her hand as he guided her outside.

She had no idea where he was heading to. However, seeing the imposing look on his face, she knew that he had his own thoughts about it. Hence, she did not press on any further. She could only cooperate with him by keeping up with his footsteps.

When they reached the door, Qin Jinhuan suddenly released her hand and rushed forward.

Seeing as he was rushing toward a car, she yelled in shock, “Huan, be careful!”

The car stopped. Upon a closer look, she realized that it was Qin Xiaozhi’s car. Only then did she secretly heave a sigh of relief.

Since the situation had already progressed to this stage, even if she did not have any business sense, she knew that what Qin Xiaozhi did in the past was to set a trap for the father and son of the Yi family and to lure them into it. This was done to help Qing Tian avert a crisis.

She knew that Qin Jinhuan was going to have a talk with his grandfather. Hence, she followed behind him happily.

The windows of the back of the car were wound down slowly as Qin Xiaozhi casually said, “If you have something to say, please wait till we get home.” Then, the windows were wound up once again.

When Bian Zijun who happened to walk past them heard this, he immediately motioned for Huang Bo to drive a car over.

Not long after that, Huang Bo drove the car over. Then, he sent Qin Jinhuan and Mu Yu back to the Qin manor.

Mu Yu had not set foot in the Qin manor for a few days, but when she entered the manor and saw that the Qin family’s manor had remained unchanged, she couldn’t help but feel as if it was a lifetime ago since she set foot in there.

“Yu.” As she was entering the gate, Qin Jinhuan suddenly pulled her back and pointed toward a small pavilion in the courtyard and said, “Go there and wait for me.”

He gently caressed her face and said, “I will come for you later.”

He did not wait for her response before quickly entering the main gate.

Mu Yu didn’t know what he was planning as she walked toward the small pavilion. Her mind was full of questions.

Under the guidance of the butler, Yu Zhongguang, Qin Jinhuan arrived at Qin Xiaozhi’s study which was located on the first floor.

At this moment, Qin Xiaozhi was alone in the room. He was sitting in front of the coffee table while slowly cleaning his cups. There was water boiling in the kettle in front of him. Obviously, he was preparing to make some tea.

Qin Xiaozhi’s light-hearted words angered Qin Jinhuan as he pulled a face and snorted. “Do you think I really want to return to the Qin family? Do you think that everybody cares about the CEO position like Qin Wentao?”

“Oh? Are you telling me that not only do you not want to go back to the Qin family, but you are also not interested in the CEO position? Could it be that you haven’t had enough of the disdainful looks that people gave you in the past two days? Or you haven’t tasted enough indifference from people?” Qin Xiaozhi looked sullen as he warned him, “Don’t think that you are irreplaceable in the company! The world does not revolve around you. Seeing as Qin Jinhuan stopped in his tracks, Qin Xiaozhi said quickly, “As long as you divorce Mu Yu, I promise to give you everything you want.”

“Including kicking Qin Wentao and Dong Yueyun out of the Qin family?”

Qin Xiaozhi’s expression changed as he immediately rejected. “They are part of the Qin family.”

“Then, what about Mu Yu?”

“Her? She is not worthy to be part of the Qin family.”

“Hmph!” Qin Jinhuan did not wish to speak any further as he walked right out.

Qi Hao looked worried as he entered the room and whispered, “Sir, why didn’t you reveal everything to the Young Master?”

Qin Xiaozhi poured himself a glass of water. Then, he slowly sipped it and said, “It would be better for him to verify certain things by himself. Qi Hao, can you help me prepare something?”

“Please tell me what I should do.”

Qin Xiaozhi started discussing something with him in a low tone.

Qin Jinhuan did not notice the going-ons in the study room as he went out of the room in a fit. He called out for Mu Yu who was waiting at the pavilion and together they left the Qin family.

He could not understand why his grandfather would want to take Qin Wentao’s and Dong Yueyun’s side since they were cold-hearted people.

“Sir, where are we heading?” asked Huang Bo as he drove the car.

Where?

Qin Jinhuan was at a loss.

He had already exacted his revenge on Yi Yunzhe. Hence, there was no reason for him to pretend to be sick anymore. So, he did not have any reason to return to Fraternity Hospital.

If he went back to Wen Zeyu’s house, he could not avoid getting nagged

After he thought about it for a moment, he asked Huang Bo to stop the car. Then, he got down from the car and asked Huang Bo to send Mu Yu home.

Mu Yu had already noticed that something was off about him. Hence, she followed him down the car immediately.

“Let’s go for a walk.”

Qin Jinhuan looked deeply into her eyes. However, he wasn’t against that decision. He asked Huang Bo and the rest of the people to leave, then walked toward a small garden by the roadside and sat down on one of the benches. Mu Yu sat down beside him.

“I am a little parched. Can you buy me a bottle of water?”

“Ok, then.” She knew that he deliberately sent her away as he did not want her to ask him more questions. Therefore, Mu Yu went along with him and walked toward a nearby convenience store.

After buying two bottles of water at the vending machine, just when she wanted to turn around, she felt a sudden chill down her neck. Following that, a cold voice was heard beside her ear. “Don’t you dare make a sound! Get into the car!”
