Chapter 101 Fully Relieved
“Are you okay young lady?” The kind hearted neighbor saw there was something wrong with Mu Yu and immediately came forward to support her.

“I’m, I’m fine.” Mu Yu tried to calm herself down, “May I borrow your phone to make a call?”

“Of course of course, wait for a moment.”

After a moment the neighbor took out their landline phone and brought it to Mu Yu.

Mu Yu took the phone and silently prayed. She called her father’s phone and anxiously waited.

After the dialing tone rang for a moment, the call connected. She was almost in tears when she heard her father’s voice. “Dad where are you? Are you okay?”

“Yu?” Mu Ziyao was obviously alarmed, “Did you change your phone number?”

“No, I’m using someone else’s phone to make a call. Where are you now? Are you and mom okay?”

“We’re doing fine. Are you?” Mu Ziyao was observant as he could hear there was something wrong with his daughter’s voice. He immediately became anxious.

“Where are you? I’m going to look for you both right away!” Mu Yu was still extremely worried about them even though her father said they were fine.

“We’re at the Prosperous Manor at Block C unit number 1824 on the eighteenth floor.”

“Prosperous Manor? Who arranged this new place for you guys?” Mu Yu was flabbergasted.

Prosperous Manor was a high-end residential area built under the name of Qing Tian Group. Area A and B was the area where the villa was while Area C and D was the classic bungalow styled residential area. Area E and F were high-end condominiums. This was a prime location and the transportation was extremely convenient. There were famous schools, hospitals, large shopping malls and various high-end entertainment facilities around the area. Coupled with the exquisite apartment designs with proper property management, it was still difficult to find a room there even though the prices were set very high.

She assumed Qin Jinhuan would vent out his anger toward her parents, so she was surprised when she heard that her parents were moved to the Prosperous Manor.

“Your Grandpa arranged all this.”

“Grandpa?! Huan’s grandpa?!”

Qin Xiaozhi?!

How could this be?

There must have been a reason behind all this!

Mu Yu became more anxious.

“It is quite complicated to explain over the phone. Why don’t you come over so I can tell you everything slowly.” Mu Ziyao could clearly hear his daughter’s suspicions.

“Okay.” She handed the phone back to the neighbor. Turned and walked down the stairs after she said her thanks towards the neighbor. She ran outside the residential area under one breath and hailed a cab. She immediately headed toward her parent’s new residence according to the address her father gave.

Her parents were already waiting for her outside the bungalow when she arrived.

After her father helped pay for her cab fees, Mu Yu hurriedly asked, “Mom, Dad, why did Huan’s grandpa move you here? Did he do so to make things difficult for you? Or did he ask you to do something over the top?”

“I think you have a misunderstanding about Huan’s Grandpa, Yu. We’ll talk about this when we get home. Oh yeah, our new house is absolutely spectacular. You will definitely like it.” Hu Meiling held her daughter’s arm while smiling as they brought her to their house’s front yard.

The garden house there had four floors, one for two households, one for the first and second floor, and one for the third and fourth floor, each with its own independent courtyard.

“Mom, can you tell me first about how Grandpa found you? Why did he move you here? Does Huan know about this?” Mu Yu was anxious knowing it was all Qin Xiaozhi’s doing and could not sit still.

“His grandfather had always known where Huan kept us hidden.” Hu Meiling let her daughter sit on the sofa and peeled some fruits for her with a smile on her face.

“He knew?! Since when?! Why haven’t he driven you out of An City after figuring it out?” Mu Yu was extremely surprised.

Mu Ziyao smiled and replied, “Darling you don’t have to beat around the bush with her anymore. We should just tell her the truth since it’s already like this.”

“What truth?” Mu Yu was puzzled.

Mu Ziyao pulled his daughter over as he saw his wife busy peeling fruits. He smiled and said, “Fine, I will explain it to you then.”

He slowly explained what Qin Xiaozhi told Qin Jinhuan from the phone yesterday.

“You, what you are saying is true?” Mu Yu was still in disbelief.

There were too many twists so she wasn’t able to accept the explanation for a while.

“It’s the truth.” Mu Ziyao earnestly nodded.

“Grandpa’s sickness was all fake?! You being forced to leave An City was all an act?! Him being against me and Huan was all fake?! Everything was fake?! It was all an act?!”

“Yes, it was all an act.”

“You were deceiving me all this time!”

“Dear, we did this for your happiness.” Hu Meiling could feel the wrath of her daughter, so she instantly caught hold and comforted her.

“Do I look happy?” Mu Yu pushed her parents away and cried while questioning them, “All of you plotted everything but do you know that you forgot to count in the most important detail?”

The incident yesterday still happened despite grandpa standing on her side, so this meant only one thing; Grandpa was being used by Dong Wanqing who had ill intentions last night.

“The most important detail? What is it?” Mu Ziyao and his wife realised that the situation had gotten more serious. They looked at their daughter anxiously.

Upon seeing her parents’ worried expression, she could not contain the feelings of grievances inside her anymore. She turned around to lean on the sofa and started weeping.

“What happened Yu? Tell mommy.”

“Yes of course dear. Tell us, then we can help you deal with it.”

“Did something bad happen yesterday?” Mu Ziyao anxiously looked toward his wife upon seeing how their daughter was crying and ignoring them, , “Didn’t Old Man Qin give his words and said that he will definitely make Yu and Huan’s relationship better? Why is it now that…”

Hu Meiling suddenly remembered something and quickly signaled her husband to not continue with his words. She then held her daughter’s shoulder and said, “My dear daughter, tell mommy. Is the bad thing you’re referring to when you were together with Huan last night?”

Mu Ziyao instantly recalled this and his eyes lit up. He continued, “Yu, you and Huan are lawfully wedded and now that you both are in love with each other. It is inevitable that you will bring the relationship to the next level. Why would you even think that it is a bad thing? It is an excellent situation! An extremely excellent one!”

“But the one with me yesterday wasn’t him!” Mu Yu cried even louder after saying this.

“What?!” Mu Ziyao and Hu Meiling were stunned as if they were hit by lightning. Their faces started to turn pale.

“No! This can’t be! Why would something like that even happen?!”

“It’s true! Huan doesn’t even wanna see me right now. We’re over, absolutely over.”

“What happened?” Hu Meiling started to panic and cried alongside her daughter.

“Don’t cry! Both of you please don’t cry! Oh no! I need to ask Old Master Qin what exactly happened! Why did it turn out like this!” Mu Ziyao was in disbelief as he took out his phone to make a call to Qin Xiaozhi.

Mu Yu stopped crying, “Don’t call him! Aren’t you shameful enough?”

“No! We must! Everything about yesterday was all planned by Old Master Qin. If something serious did happen then he must take full responsibility!” Mu Ziyao pushed his daughter away and quickly ran out of the room to make the phone call.

“Dad! Daddy!”

“Let your dad make the call! Let him set it straight!” Hu Meiling tugged her daughter and angrily exclaimed while lines of tears could be seen on her face, “You were clean and pure when I left you in his hands. If anything happens then I will definitely seek justice for you!”

“Seek justice?” Mu Yu smiled bitterly and continued to cry on the sofa.

The Qin Household always used money to solve their injustice. She didn’t need money. All she wanted was the man she loved dearly.

“Yu! Who told you the man with you yesterday wasn’t Huan?” After a while Mu Ziyao entered the living room with an excited look on his face.

“Was it Huan?” Hu Meiling instantly stood up and asked anxiously.

Her father’s strange expression made Mu Yu feel as if there was still hope, but she was afraid to follow her instincts. She stared blankly at her father and waited for him to elaborate further. She blacked out last night so she had absolutely no recollection of what happened yesterday.

“Who else would it be other than Huan? I told you Old Master Qin would never allow something harsh to happen!”

“It was actually him?!” Mu Yu asked in surprise and her mother asked suit.

“That’s right!” Mu Ziyao nodded approvingly. “Old Master Qin said that he sent a few people to spy on you and Huan last night. They saw Huan carrying you and entering a room together while they were staying in the next room.”

Hu Meiling wiped away her tears in delight, “I told you if Old Master Qin wasn’t sure about putting you two together then he wouldn’t have been excited when asking us to move here this morning.”

Even though this was what she wanted to hear, she still had some suspicions deep inside her, “If it was really him that spent the night with me yesterday then why doesn’t he want to see me? He didn’t even answer my calls and seemed like he was upset?”

“Old Master Qin said that he told Huan about everything yesterday after what had happened, he even told him about how he faked being sick thinking it would mend your relationships. But he was too upset and just ran away after hearing his grandfather’s explanations and left in anger. Maybe he did not pick up your call because he was still upset.”

“He didn’t pick up my calls because of that?” The burden in Mu Yu’s heart was lifted instantly. She blushed as she averted her eyes back at her parents.

Seems like she had misunderstood Dong Wanqing today. It was a relief that she did not have a huge argument with Dong Wanqing.

“He loves you, it’s just that he was upset with his grandfather.” Hu Meiling held her daughter once again and eagerly handed the previously cut fruits to her.

“I wonder where he is right now.” Could he be out drinking to forget his sorrows?

“You haven’t come home for so long. Why don’t you stay here and give him some space. After he feels better he would definitely look for you. Mu Ziyao stood up and said, “I’m going to the market to get some of your favorite food.”

“I’m going with you!” Hu Meiling immediately stood up, “Not only to get groceries, we need to get our darling daughter’s favorite fruits and snacks as well.”

After saying this she turned toward Mu Yu, “You should stay at home Yu. We will get back soon and be right beside you.”

Mu Yu nodded and lifelessly sat on the sofa after she sent her parents out the door.

The sudden twist of the situation made her excited and worried at the same time.

She was excited upon knowing she spent her night with Qin Jinhuan. But she was worried about the relationship between Qin Jinhuan and Qin Xiaozhi. Qin Jinhuan had always held his head high and his relationship with his grandfather was already bad. After he knew Grandpa’s lies it would be harder for Qin Jinhuan to forgive him. She would definitely be involved along the way.

But he wouldn’t keep ignoring her, would he?

Sigh…

Huh? Mu?!

She suddenly realised that Mu was placed at the corner of the living room. She gleefully ran toward it and hugged it as if she was hugging an old friend.

She assumed her parents left Mu in the old mansion. She never thought to see it again here.

The image of Xin Yihan’s concerned face when they met at the Gloria Hotel flashed in front of her eyes. She felt a sudden warmth in her heart, but at the same time she felt sad.

She was still enamoured by Xin Yihan a few months ago. She never would have thought that she would be giving her heart and body to Qin Jinhuan instead.

Fate is an extremely marvellous thing.

She gently caressed Mu’s face. She smiled and whispered softly as if she was facing Xin Yihan, “Yihan, you don’t need to worry about me. Even if Huan has his views on me, I will try my best to grasp on happiness. So you and Xiaotian too, we all must be happy and well.”

Someone knocked on the door.

She thought her parents came back, so she put Mu down and ran over to open the door. Upon opening the door, her mind instantly went blank.
