Mr. Bodyguard Novel - Chapter 7
Chapter 7 A Familiar Smell
He saved a young girl and cured a middle-aged woman. Jiang Feng pinched his finger and finally felt that the karma on his body had almost disappeared.
He did not forget that he was Han Chuxue’s personal bodyguard, so after coming out of the hospital, he took a taxi and rushed to Shuiyun Residence in the West Lake.
When they arrived at the entrance of Shuiyun Residence, the fare was exactly fifty. Jiang Feng bitterly took out the last fifty yuan from his pocket and handed it to his taxi master. Then, he watched the taxi leave.
A man of good fortune, five evils and three deficiencies must occupy one of them. This lack of money is really miserable. Jiang Feng shook his head and headed straight for Unit B of the three buildings where Han Chuxue lived.
At 8808, Jiang Feng rang the doorbell. This time, Han Chuxue opened the door quite quickly. Before Jiang Feng could ring the bell for the second time, Han Chuxue had already opened the door.
Han Chuxue stepped aside and said reluctantly, “Come in. Those slippers are yours.” She pointed to a pair of slippers that she had obviously just bought.
Jiang Feng took off his cloth shoes, put on those slippers, and took two steps inside the room. He smiled and said, “It’s quite appropriate. Thank you.”
Han Chuxue sat down on the sofa in the living room and said, “My father told you to go to Hangzhou University with me from tomorrow onwards. Recently, Hangzhou University has been under strict management and requires a student ID card for entry and exit. My father has already arranged for someone to do it for you.”
You’re staying with me for the time being, but you have to make an agreement. You must not enter my room without my permission, much less use any of my daily necessities.
The laundry between us should be washed separately. You should use the living balcony for laundry hanging, and I should also use the main balcony for laundry hanging. You ‘ll have to go out with me later. You’ ll have to change your hair and clothes. ”
“Oh.” Jiang Feng nodded, agreeing to Han Chuxue’s words. He looked around and couldn’t help but ask, “Where are Goudan’er and my chicken?”
Han Chuxue unhappily pointed to a bedroom beside her courtesy. “In your room, you are not allowed to let your dog and your chicken run around normally.”
“I’ll try my best.” With that, Jiang Feng walked straight into his room. Not long after, Jiang Feng led Goudan’er out of the room with two eggs in his hand and said to Han Chuxue, “My chicken laid two eggs. Have you eaten yet? Is there any noodles at home? Can I boil egg noodles for you to eat?”
“There’s noodles in the kitchen. I’ll go out and eat some later. Help yourself.”
Han Chuxue replied weakly. Regarding Han Zhen letting Jiang Feng, a stranger, live with her, Han Chuxue still had a strong feeling of resistance in her heart. However, from childhood to adulthood, she knew that it was not easy for her father to take care of her alone, so she would not go against her father’s wishes and could only endure it. However, it was indeed difficult for her to have a good impression of Jiang Feng.
Jiang Feng let out another’oh ‘, then took two eggs and led Goudan’er into the kitchen.
Not long after, Han Chuxue heard the sound of a knife cutting the chopping board from the kitchen. Then the kitchen quickly became lively. There was the sound of egg whipping and the sound of fried oil.
From the sound, Han Chuxue could basically confirm that Jiang Feng was a culinary person. She touched her stomach and couldn’t help but regret her decision to refuse to eat the noodles cooked by Jiang Feng.
Not long after, the fragrance drifted out of the kitchen. Han Chuxue gently shrugged the tip of her nose, then took a deep breath. She swallowed a mouthful of saliva and wanted to shout to the kitchen, “Cook some for me too.” But in the end, Han Chuxue endured it.
Very quickly, Jiang Feng walked out of the kitchen with a “big iron bowl” in his hand. Han Chuxue immediately recognized that the “big iron bowl” was actually the rice jar in her electric cooker.
Seeing the noodles slowly turning into rice cookers, Han Chuxue couldn’t help but ask, “Can you finish eating so many noodles?”
“Don’t worry, there won’t even be any soup left. Oh, right. There’s a little noodle left in the kitchen. If you want to eat it, you can serve it yourself.”
Han Chuxue looked at Jiang Feng suspiciously. She didn’t really believe that Jiang Feng had really left her noodles. She stood up and walked to the kitchen to take a look, only to see a bowl of noodles on the stove, which was covered with two very beautiful fried poached eggs.
Han Chuxue knew that Jiang Feng had laid a total of two eggs in that chicken, but she didn’t expect that he would leave them all to her. Suddenly, Han Chuxue felt that Jiang Feng wasn’t that annoying anymore.
She picked up the noodles and didn’t have the guts to eat in the living room. She began to eat slowly on the kitchen table. Han Chuxue was stunned at the first bite of the noodle. “This smell … is so familiar …” she murmured in her heart.
Suddenly, Han Chuxue felt as if she had returned to her childhood. At that time, he especially liked to follow his mother around the kitchen. What he liked the most was all kinds of dishes she cooked for him. Unfortunately, his mother died of illness and he never ate the food his mother cooked again.
However, the taste of this noodle made Han Chuxue feel exactly the same as her mother’s. Han Chuxue’s eyes turned red and she couldn’t help but whisper, “Mom …”
Han Chuxue tasted the noodles carefully. She really felt that she had never tasted such delicious noodles in her life. In the end, she drank all the noodle soup.
After eating, Han Chuxue felt that she should thank Jiang Feng. After walking to the living room, he discovered that Jiang Feng was actually feeding Goudan’er noodles with chopsticks. Jiang Feng also said, “Come, come, let’s take one last sip. Remember to drink the soup after you finish your meal.”
Han Chuxue couldn’t help but be shocked and angry. She ran to Jiang Feng and asked, “You … didn’t you cook the noodles for yourself?”
“Of course not. I have already eaten outside. Didn’t I tell you that I would get off the car to eat first? Why are you so young and forgetful?”
“Are you going to give me something to cook for a dog to eat?” Han Chuxue was so angry that her face turned red.
Jiang Feng frowned slightly and said somewhat unhappily, “I told you before, Goudan’er is not a dog but a Pixiu. It wasn’t like this originally. It was to save me that it became like this back then. Goudan’er is very picky when eating. Other than some heavenly materials and earth treasures, it only eats what I made with my own hands.”
Other than my Grand Master and Grand Master, you are the third person to have eaten my cooking. If you don’t want to eat it, don’t eat it in the future. Ever since I met Goudan’er, it’s always been me who eats whatever I eat. ”
With that, Jiang Feng carried Goudan’er into the room. The moment he entered the room, Jiang Feng added, “I don’t know if you have eaten anything familiar from what I cooked, because I was cooking with my heart.” So logically, you should be able to feel the taste of something that someone else had cooked for you with their heart. “I’ll cook for you seriously. You still don’t know what’s good for you.”
Bang! The door closed.
Han Chuxue looked at the door and didn’t know if she should be angry or guilty. She stood in the living room and hesitated for a long time. Finally, she mustered up the courage to go outside Jiang Feng’s room and knock on the door. She said, “Didn’t I agree to go shopping with you and change my hair? Let’s go …”
“I’m not in the mood. I don’t want to go.” Jiang Feng’s voice rang out.
Han Chuxue clenched her fists and couldn’t help but feel the urge to go berserk. However, in the end, she still endured it, because she really did not have the courage to let Jiang Feng walk into Hangzhou with her in his current image.
Han Chuxue took a deep breath and forced herself to say gently, “Alright, it was my fault just now. Don’t be angry, okay?”
Bang! The door opened. Jiang Feng held Goudan’er and said, “I’m not angry. It’s Goudan’er who’s angry. Apologize to him. If he forgives you, I’ll go out with you.”
Han Chuxue didn’t dare to finish her sentence. She looked at Jiang Feng’s expression, which was beginning to turn bad again. In the end, she could only stomp her feet, suppress her anger and play with her body. She reached out to touch Goudan’er’s head and said, “Goudan, I’m sorry, I was wrong just now.”
Hearing this, Goudan’er immediately stood up and clapped her hands. Then, she seemed to be rolling around excitedly on the ground.
Seeing Goudan’er’s appearance, Han Chuxue couldn’t help but ask Jiang Feng, “He … he accepted my apology, didn’t he?”
Jiang Feng looked at Goudan’er and rolled his eyes in anger. Then, he kicked her into the room and said, “What a useless thing. When you see a beauty, you have no principles at all.”
“The ancients used to say that things look like masters.” Han Chuxue finally caught a chance and sneered at Jiang Feng.
Unexpectedly, Jiang Feng seemed to agree with Han Chuxue’s words. He actually nodded and muttered to himself, “There really is a little bit of truth in that.”
But in the end, Jiang Feng sized Han Chuxue up and down and added, “Although Goudan’er’s personality is somewhat similar to mine, her aesthetic ability is too different.”
What is the most unbearable thing for a woman? It was others who questioned her beauty.
When Han Chuxue heard Jiang Feng’s words, she was naturally enraged. She immediately put on an “S” shape and said, “Jiang Feng, open your eyes and see clearly. Which part of this miss is not beautiful? Let me tell you, this miss is a flower recognized by the archaeology of Hangzhou University!”
“Are you the only one in your archaeology who is a woman?” Jiang Feng asked seriously.
Han Chuxue couldn’t say anything else, because archaeology was an unpopular specialty, and there were only about 30 people in their department. There were indeed only five of them, including her.
Of course, Han Chuxue herself did not know that she was actually one of the top ten campus flowers privately evaluated by Hangzhou University students. On the homepage of Hangzhou University’s portal website, there were photos of her specially posted, which had always received the highest click-through rate.
“Alright, I won’t tell you anymore. It’s getting dark after a while. Let’s go on the street first.”
This time, Jiang Feng did not refuse and directly nodded in agreement.
