Maid's Diary: Devil Master, Please Behave - Chapter 4
Chapter 4 Rumoured Young Master Gu 1
Wu Zhen Dao Hall.
“Brother, what kind of assistant are you really going to be?” Jiang Xiaochun blocked Mu Nan’s path and glanced sideways at the silver suitcase beside her.
Mu Nan raised his eyebrows and righteously patted the young man’s shoulder. He said earnestly, “Don’t worry, I will only go to Wuzhen for a year. I will return to Wuzhen during the holidays. I will increase the management fee if the Dao Hall asks you to take care of it.”
Jiang Xiaochun was Mu Nan’s “brother” from childhood to adulthood, with a baby face, blonde hair, and big eyes. Ever since Mu Nan’s father died, she and Jiang Xiaochun had been in charge of this small dao hall.
Jiang Xiaochun shook his yellow hair and rubbed his shoulders away from Mu Nan’s palm. “I don’t lack management fees or anything. Your mother’s condition is just a little better, so you’re leaving?” He muttered discontentedly.
Mu Nan chuckled, “Isn’t there still you? When my mother asked me, she said that I was studying outside, not to mention that I was an assistant.”
Mu Nan had worked hard to become the assistant of the young master of the SE consortium. Actually, he had a deeper purpose.
She wanted to sneak into the Gu Clan and find her mother’s lost jade bracelet. It was a token of parents’ love. Mother had not lived long in this world, and it was this bracelet that she often talked about. Mu Nan wanted to retrieve it from the Gu Clan and fulfill his mother’s final wish.
“It’s too late. I’ll be leaving first. Xiaochun, I’ll leave the Wuzhen Dao Hall and my mother to you. Remember to teach those children well!” Mu Nan looked at his watch. It was almost time for the flight to take off.
Mu Nan hurriedly rushed out of the entrance of the Dao Hall, called a taxi, picked up his luggage and left.
“Brother, come back often!”
Jiang Xiaochun was dumbfounded for a while, and only after Mu Nan’s slender figure disappeared from his line of sight did he turn around to look at the empty Dao Hall and shrug his shoulders.
The sky was clear and the river was quiet. A person left the small Wu Zhen and rushed into the unknown and blurry distance.
The bell that belonged solely to fate sounded the first crisp song.
—
On the wide road, the green roadside trees moved in a green arc in the wind, looking down at the black Lincoln flying by.
A small crack opened in the car window, and a cool breeze came in, blowing away Mu Nan’s uneasiness and heat in his heart.
“Little Brother Munan, we’re heading to the mansion where Young Master lives, Qingkong.” The fat butler flipped through the notebook and said softly, “Your daily tasks include managing Young Master’s schedule, supervising Young Master’s meals and rest, protecting Young Master’s safety at all times, and waiting for Young Master’s orders. Tomorrow, you will accompany Young Master into Sheng Hua Academy and stand by Young Master’s side at all times.”
Mu Nan obediently listened, thinking to himself that it shouldn’t be difficult for this assistant’s job to be a nanny + bodyguard + servant.
“Housekeeper Qian, I want to ask you something. Where did all the Young Master’s assistants go?”
Actually, she wanted to ask where the graves of these assistants were and where the corpses were buried. She took the time to burn two sticks of incense to ask for blessings.
The round butler paused for a moment and explained patiently with a strange gaze, “After Young Master returned home, there were ten assistants. These ten people either had mental breakdowns, attempted jump, cerebral hemorrhage, or gay. However, Brother Munan, please rest assured that Young Master is always well-behaved and will not torture people to death.”
Munan:…
What do you mean you don’t torture people?
Why did a strange uneasiness surge in her heart? It was as if this path did not lead to the Azure Void Residence, but to the Nether Evil Hell.
Housekeeper Qian noticed the youth’s strange behavior and sighed in his heart. Young Master’s fierce temper, sinister and scheming character, and domineering and evil personality were indeed not something that humans could endure.
Looking at this little brother Munan, who was as handsome as a flower, he didn’t know how long he would be able to endure the devastation of the Young Master’s hands.
However, in order to appease Mu Nan, Steward Qian said seriously, “Little Brother Mu Nan, Young Master is a kind-hearted young man. If you can become his friend, you will surely have a better life.”
In short, this journey ended in the gloomy atmosphere created by Mu Nan himself.
Qingkong Mansion, afternoon.
“Pa!”
Gu Yu Ze threw the bodyguard on the ground for the last time. He looked at the big clock on the training ground. He pulled the towel and wiped the sweat off his face as he walked.
“Go back to SE. I won’t be used as a training partner in the future. This young master has just found a new target.”
The bodyguard stood up, panting heavily, rubbed his painful arm, and respectfully replied, “Yes, Young Master.”
The rooftop was wide, and Gu Yuze was lofty. A black car slowly drove over from the green lawn.
His slender fingertips casually clasped the glass, and the soda gurgled with cool bubbles. Gu Yuze narrowed his eyes as he watched the young man jumping off the white shirt and black coat.
Looking at Mu Nan looking around like a lost idiot, Gu Yuze couldn’t help but mock him.
For some reason, the sparkling surprise and excitement in her eyes made Gu Yu Ze feel a strong impulse to dissolve her internal organs like a poisonous spider devouring its prey.
With a wicked smile, he casually placed the glass in his hand on the edge of the rooftop and turned around to leave.
It’s time to meet, my slave.
