Chapter 8 Young Master Shen Went Wherever He Went
At seven o’clock in the evening, when Yu Sheng got into the car, it rained heavily. A few white lights appeared in the gloomy sky, and thunder-shocking sounds could be heard endlessly.
Seeing the passersby hurriedly dodge the ferocious rain, Yu Sheng curled his lips and, following the principle of testing the performance of the new car, stepped on the accelerator and rushed out.
After arriving at the set, the manager didn’t have time to comment on Yu Sheng’s cool new car. He hurriedly walked over with an umbrella and pulled her into the set.
When the two of them entered, they happened to encounter actors filming. After stopping to watch for ten minutes, Chen Liang, a rising star in the directing industry, walked over with a smile.
“Director Chen.”
“Senior Sister, what do you think?”
Chen Liang and Yu Sheng had also worked together once or twice in school. After leaving school for many years, Yu Sheng might not have much impression of them, but Chen Liang remembered Senior Sister Yu, who was already famous at that time, when they first met. It was precisely because of this that he recognized Yu Sheng at his first meeting after leaving school.
Hearing the voice, Yu Sheng looked at Chen Xing, who played the third female, and rubbed his chin. “I almost felt it.”
Although she and Chen Xing had met unhappily twice, she did not interfere in the film’s decision to designate her as the third female. After all, Chen Liang had let Chen Xing pass the audition, which meant that he still had some acting skills.
Chen Liang wasn’t angry when he heard Yu Sheng’s evaluation. He knew that this senior sister had always been a strict and high-standard person. She had studied with many directors in school. Chen Liang modestly said, “Senior Sister has something to say.”
Yu Sheng glanced at Chen Xing, who was somewhat irritated not far away, and then looked at the guqin that she had thrown aside. Then, he asked, “She can’t play the guqin?”
Half a day later, Chen Liang finally realized who Yu Sheng was talking about. Chen Liang was also helpless when he mentioned this matter. The crew had invited a guqin teacher for Chen Xing, but Chen Xing always refused to go to class for various reasons. The final result was to see her play the zither through the camera and feel that it was fake no matter how she looked at it. Chen Liangcai sensed Yu Sheng’s gaze and gave an awkward kindness.
Third Maiden used the zither as a weapon. Although there weren’t many scenes, Yu Sheng definitely wouldn’t allow her to cover it up with the coarse craftsmanship of a later stage. After all, he didn’t want to make a TV play without asking for quality. Was he going to let the audience find fault with him by doing it here and there?
After whispering a few words to Chen Liang, Yu Sheng walked over and placed the zither on the table that hadn’t been removed. The zither head was to the right and the zither tail was to the left. After putting on the finger glove, Yu Sheng gently picked up the strings of the zither. As soon as he pressed down, he could hear the crisp sound.
Yu Sheng restrained his eyebrows, and a pair of plain hands moved back and forth on the zither. A clear voice that was as clear as splashing jade and trembling like a dragon’s roar instantly poured out. Using the zither as a martial artist, he naturally possessed a powerful destructive power comparable to that of a blade or sword. The prelude to the song just happened to reflect this. Yu Sheng quickened his pace, and the piano music, which had slowed down for less than a few seconds, became sharp and high again, but it did not make anyone feel abrupt.
What shocked the staff even more was that Yu Sheng’s hand was so fast that it was like an afterimage that it caused people to be amazed. This savage technique was even more shocking than the one added later!
“Teacher Luo Sheng, you are really too powerful!”
When Yu Sheng’s last voice fell, the onlookers who came to their senses clapped their hands and applauded.
Hearing their praise, Yu Sheng smiled slightly and nodded to the staff in a friendly manner.
“Director Chen, are you okay?”
Compared to Chen Xing’s method of making him embarrassed by cancer, Yu Sheng’s method here was not the slightest bit better. Chen Liang couldn’t restrain the joy in his heart and hurriedly went over to discuss with Yu Sheng to change his clothes tomorrow to make up for this scene.
Chen Xing, who had been completely ignored by the crowd, gritted his teeth and listened to their praise for Luo Sheng. The rage in his heart burned brightly. He glanced at the person who secretly compared himself to Luo Sheng, threw the cup on the table, and returned to the lounge with a cold face.
Yu Sheng’s three meals had been reversed for a long time. If he didn’t eat, he would probably take stomach medicine. After thinking about the wording, the manager walked over and said a few words on Yu Sheng’s behalf before leading the others away.
The manager rolled his eyes at Yu Sheng’s ability to find trouble for him in the next minute and could only helplessly book a hotel nearby to prevent her from not getting enough sleep for tomorrow’s scene.
When the alarm clock sounded at eight o’clock, Yu Sheng got up on time. After a simple breakfast, he began to nest in the hotel and write something else. Ann, the editor and manager, was forced to give her a few more articles when the book came out of the archive to satisfy unhappy readers and to contribute to the popularity of the show.
After grinding for a whole morning, he finished most of the content. After looking at the time, he put on a pair of large sunglasses and successfully covered most of his face before going to the crew.
The first arrangement in the afternoon was to re-shoot the scenes of Yu Sheng playing the zither, so as soon as Yu Sheng arrived at the set, everyone was busy. The scene had already been set up. The people from the prop group placed the zither on the table. The people from the clothing group helped her change into a jade phoenix tail dress that looked like Chen Xing’s. A crescent-white light gauze was added, giving her an even more immortal feeling.
When the camera reached Yu Sheng’s hand from his neck, he naturally wouldn’t be able to get a picture of Yu Sheng’s face. Moreover, it was a face with sunglasses, so it would be too incompatible.
The girls who were still immersed in the zither music pulled Chen Liang and said, “Director Chen, discuss with Teacher Luo Sheng again. When the play is finished, can you play the theme song in a friendly manner? I haven’t heard enough.”
This suggestion clearly won the hearts of the people. As soon as they spoke, everyone’s gazes fell on Chen Liang. Just as Yu Sheng was about to refuse to help Chen Liang out of the encirclement, another voice that seemed to be slightly enchanting landed in everyone’s ears before her, “Of course not.”
The denied crowd was filled with displeasure. Just as they were about to ask who it was, the man walked over to them leisurely. No, to be exact, he walked in front of Teacher Luo Sheng.
Before the crowd could talk about it, another manager dressed up stood up and introduced, “President Shen came over to see everyone today. It’s nothing big. Don’t be too formal, everyone.”
Yes, this person wearing an Armani pure white shirt and a pair of black jeans was Shen Yu, who was hanging out with the crew. After listening to that person’s words, Mr. Shen turned around and smiled at everyone, “Hello, I’m just here to get acquainted with you guys. I didn’t delay you, did I?”
Everyone hurriedly shook their heads and their faces turned black. Your Young Master Shen’s fame was comparable to a first-rate star. Do you still use it to look familiar?
Yu Sheng appreciated Young Master Shen’s unrestrained and wild attire and said with some interest, “Tsk, is Mr. Shen planning to pretend to be tender today?”
The smile at the corner of his mouth died without a trace, “I wasn’t old either.”
“Isn’t Ben San old yet?”
Shen Yu’s back was facing the crowd, but Yu Sheng could clearly see the staff members who were trying their best to suppress their laughter. Fortunately, the director greeted Shen Yu in time. Otherwise, those who laughed would be busy finding a way down Shen Yu’s stairs.
Seeing that Shen Yu was still standing in front of him, Yu Sheng was somewhat puzzled as to whether Universal Pictures was so idle. He said, “Why are you here?”
Upon mentioning this matter, Shen Yu, who had returned to his normal state, looked as if he should. He smiled and said, “One of the investors.”
Yu Sheng’s first reaction was that there was actually such an operation? After all, Universal Pictures was well-known there, but she had never heard a manager or director mention it.
He then asked, “When?”
“Just now.”
