Indestructible God King - Chapter 127.1
Chapter 127.1 Don’t You Bring Money When Going Out? (1/2)
Gongyi Teahouse—Wang Ke’s bedroom!
Zhang Shenxu glanced at the floor. The noise was still coming from below, along with the miserable cries of those suffering down there; the atmosphere was rather creepy.
He was very careful. He had suffered multiple times under Wang Ke’s hands and didn’t want trouble again.
He waved his fan and asked seriously.“Speak now; no one else is here… What did you do with my sister in the office that day?”
Wang Ke was utterly frustrated by then; Zhang Shenxu was on high alert because of the noises, and his juniors were also guarding outside. There was no chance to act.
Those juniors outside were ready to turn hostile.
“That day……? I don’t want to talk, but I’m still disturbed by it! You really should talk about this with your sister!” Wang Ke replied with a helpless smile.
“Talk to her about what?” Zhang Shenxu asked, perplexed.
“That we are not a match!” Wang Ke said in a serious tone.
Zhang Shenxu was stunned. Not a match? Damn, my sister only wanted to knock you out and take your money. What has it got to do with matching?
Wang Ke persuaded patiently, “I’m a very single-minded person when it comes to romantic relationships. Your sister has pestered me nonstop; it’s suffocating! I need personal space! I need freedom too! So, can you please talk to her? Tell her to forget about me! She will find someone better!”
Zhang Shenxu fell into a long daze.
What the hell did I just hear? Wang Ke said that my sister was pestering him? He must be out of his mind! Why would my sister harass him?
Zhang Shenxu walked toward Wang Ke and said full of hate, “Wang Ke, you bast*rd! How dare you slander my sister? She was already betrothed while still in our mother’s womb! How dare you…!”
“Relax! Calm down! Weren’t you the one who asked? Why are you getting so worked up? Don’t come here!” Wang Ke cried out in shock.
Still, the other could not tolerate anyone sullying her sister’s chaste image.
Shameless Wang Ke! How dare you say such things! You must be sick of living!
“You’ve slandered my sister! I will shut your mouth forever!” Zhang Shenxu gave Wang Ke a good slap.
“Don’t!” Wang Ke cried out.
“Booooom!”
The palm strike hit Wang Ke squarely in the chest, which was followed by a muffled noise. The latter suffered no injuries.
Zhang Shenxu was shocked. It shouldn’t be like this! I didn’t use my full strength, but an Innate Stage cultivator would have collapsed from the strike. Your chest should have caved in given your weak cultivation; why are you still fine?
Right when he looked up at Wang Ke—the latter smacked his head with a huge seal.
“Booooom!”
The God King Seal slammed Zhang Shenxu’s head.
The latter released protective Qi to shield himself, but it was suppressed by the Dao Jade’s power.
The protective Qi was unable to stop the God King Seal, so it gloriously landed on his head.
And thus, Zhang Shenxu fell onto Wang Ke’s bed.
“Freak! This God King Seal hits like a ton of bricks! It only takes one smack to knock out a Golden Core Stage cultivator!” Wang Ke said, with a lingering fear still remaining.
He stored his seal and then inspected himself, completely ignoring Zhang Shenxu lying on the bed.
He finally heaved a sigh of relief after some time. “That was so close, so close! More turbid essence Qi was added, but I did not break through! My cultivation is still at Innate Stage Level Six. Thank goodness!”
Once making sure everything was in order, he then turned his attention toward Zhang Shenxu again.
“You are nuts! We were talking peacefully. Why did you attack me like that!” Wang Ke said with an annoyed stare.
Zhang Shenxu was much more powerful than She Tianba. The latter took half a day to regain consciousness after being knocked out; in contrast, Zhang Shenxu was already beginning to wake up.
Wang Ke noticed that Zhang Shenxu’s fingers were trembling and realized that something wasn’t right.
He immediately covered Zhang Shenxu’s face with the blanket.
“Baaam! Baaaam! Baaaam……!”
Wang Ke started to wildly smack Zhang Shenxu’s head with the God King Seal, all the while using the blanket to cover the latter’s head. He only stopped after the Golden Core cultivator stopped moving.
“Phew! That was close!” Wang Ke said with a worried look.
He looked outside the window, feeling stuck in a dilemma.
“Damn. What should I do now? I can’t leave; those Golden Crow Sect disciples are right outside; they will charge right in once I open the door. I can maybe surprise one of them and use the seal again, but there are just too many people outside!” Wang Ke was truly anxious.
He looked down; Zhang Zhengdao was still howling.
“It’s all your fault, Zhang Zhengdao! What the hell are you doing down there?” Wang Ke raged.
He waved a hand and activated the trap.
“Boooom!”
The room’s floor flipped. Wang Ke and the big bed were now in the secret chamber.
Once inside, Wang Ke couldn’t open his eyes due to the bright light caused by electrical shocks.
“My eyes!” Wang Ke cried out in shock while covering his blinded eyes.
Zhang Zhengdao’s hair was standing on end, while smoke was rising from his body. He noticed that that the trap was activated, so he immediately roared, “Wang Ke, you bast*rd! I’ve been shouting for ages! Are you deaf? These electric shocks are going to kill me. The damn lashes leak some of the power. Come, come quick! Give me a hand! Ahhhhhhh, I feel so numb!” Zhang Zhengdao roared.
Wang Ke’s eyes had just gotten used to the bright light in the chamber. He saw Zhang Zhengdao channeling power to the Lightning Whips that were currently entangling eleven black-robed figures; those people were howling, their bodies shaking due to the powerful electrical currents.
Wang Ke was stunned. Where did so many people come from? This place really is someone’s graveyard? Did these people fake their deaths or something?
“Quick! I can’t take it anymore!” Zhang Zhengdao shouted; his body was shivering from the leaked current.
Wang Ke calmed down and charged toward the eleven men in black, taking out the God King Seal.
“Baaam, Baaam, Baaam………!”
Wang Ke went crazy as he smacked their heads.
The situation turned even more critical for Tong An’an and his men. They were being shocked back to consciousness by the electrical current just after being bashed with the seal. Since Wang Ke saw that they were still awake, he would continue whacking them.
Knocked out and then roused back to consciousness! Rinse and repeat!!
“What wrong did I do to deserve this!” Tong An’an let out a grievous cry in despair.
“Stop, stop hitting me! My brain juice is coming out!” one of the bald men begged in tears.
“Dying is better than this! Help!” the other bald men screamed in despair.
Finally, the electrical currents were no longer enough to wake them up after smacking them a few dozen times more. Wang Ke finally felt safe.
“It’s… It’s over!” Wang Ke nodded toward Zhang Zhengdao.
“Whooosh!”
The Lightning Whips stopped, and Zhang Zhengdao immediately slumped on the floor, his clothes all charred.
“Zhang Zhengdao, why do I smell roast meat from your body?” Wang Ke asked curiously.
The other opened his shirt and looked at his groin area. His eyes looked a little sad as he said, “It’s okay. Things will be fine after a little rest!”
“Are you sure? You should let me know if there’s any issue!” Wang Ke asked.
“It’s really fine. Stop asking me. Let me heal myself! It’s not something I can say out loud, so stop asking, okay?” Zhang Zhengdao said with grief and anger.
“Okay then, I won’t ask! Don’t be so angry! What happened here? Why did so many people show up down here?” Wang Ke asked.
He flipped back the hood of one of the men in black while he spoke.
“Tong An’an? And the ten bald men? Hmm? Why are their heads so much bigger than last time?” Wang Ke asked, truly taken aback.
“Didn’t they swell because you smacked them so many times?” Zhang Zhengdao answered, surprised by the question.
“Me? I see. I wasn’t aware of it just now! It’s just… How did they enter my secret chamber?” Wang Ke asked, feeling perplexed.
“How should I know? He appeared from the ground all of a sudden!” Zhang Zhengdao answered, still feeling frustrated.
“They came from underground?” Wang Ke walked toward a hole on the floor.
