Indestructible God King - Chapter 119.1
Chapter 119.1 Case Solved! (1/2)
The Ten-thousand Great Mountains, inside a great hall.
Zhang Li’er stared coldly at Zhang Shenxu.
“I asked you to watch the Heavenly Wolf Sect closely! I told you to do that! And what did you do? You received news that Wang Ke had left many days ago?” Zhang Li’er reprimanded him angrily.
“Sis, you know how cunning that man is, right? Last time he disguised himself as an ugly person and I exposed him. I’m pretty sure his disguise is even more deceiving this time! Our people who infiltrated the Wolf Cultivation Town could never…!” Zhang Shenxu said helplessly.
He remembered how Wang Ke and Zhang Zhengdao looked the previous time he captured them. One of them had a face full of pimples, while the other was disguised as a fat woman. He would have never seen through their disguise if he didn’t have their portraits. Now that they had no portraits, it was practically impossible to find them.
“I don’t care. You have failed your job. And what about those cranes we sent to search for them? They didn’t find anything?” Zhang Li’er asked.
“Sis, why are you so angry at Wang Ke? Did he do anything obscene to you?” Zhang Shenxu asked with a frown.
“Baaam!”
Zhang Li’er smacked him on the head, almost sending him crashing to the floor.
“What are you talking about? Who do you think Wang Ke is? How could he ever stand up against me?” Zhang Li’er chided him.
“But, why are you so angry at him? What happened in his office that day?” Zhang Shenxu asked curiously.
That day?
Zhang Li’er felt even angrier at the mention of that day. She had knocked out people for years and years, not failing a single time. Still, she failed to knock Wang Ke out; this brought her endless shame.
How humiliating!
“It’s all your fault. I told you to fully investigate the tower’s structure, yet you gave me a false blueprint. There’s a secret elevator shaft connected to Wang Ke’s office… Why didn’t you draw it out for me? Why?” Zhang Li’er questioned him.
“We… We did our best!” Zhang Shenxu replied with a bitter smile.
“Find Wang Ke! Send all the cranes out to find him! I don’t believe he can hide forever!” Zhang Li’er ordered.
“But if we send all the cranes out, what if our sect’s disciples need mounts?” Zhang Shenxu asked with worry.
“Did they forget how to walk? Make them wait!” Zhang Li’er commanded.
“But, what about the Sect Lord and the elders…?”
“Ask them to come and find me if they’re unhappy with this! Go and find Wang Ke. Listen very carefully, don’t come back until you find him! Same goes for all the cranes; they can’t return unless they find Wang Ke!” Zhang Li’er warned them.
“Ah?” Zhang Shenxu was stunned after hearing that.
“Arggh! I’m so damn angry. You are so useless! Ah? Look at other people’s younger brothers! Look! And then look at you! You only know how to make me angry!” Zhang Li’er chided him.
Zhang Shenxu’s face froze. “Sis, sis. I’m off to find Wang Ke; please don’t say that anymore!”
He then scurried out of the great hall.
“Humph!” Zhang Li’er still wanted to vent her spleen.
————————
Ten-thousand Great Mountains, inside a forest.
Zhang Zhengdao looked at the two scarecrows in front of them.
They stood motionlessly, dressed in Wang Ke and Zhang Zhengdao’s clothes.
“Wang Ke, is this your plan to safeguard your underwear? Damn, just two scarecrows?” Zhang Zhengdao said, puzzled.
“What else do you want to do?” Wang Ke threw a stare at Zhang Zhengdao.
“But, isn’t this too simple? What’s the use of these scarecrows? You can only scare crows with these, literally!” Zhang Zhengdao said in a daze.
“Don’t you see? These scarecrows have our clothes now!” Wang Ke said seriously.
“So what?” Zhang Zhengdao was still confused.
“It’s original!” Wang Ke explained.
“Uhh? Original?” Zhang Zhengdao was still perplexed.
Wang Ke rolled his eyes at him. You don’t know what original means? Then how did you cultivate such a perverted taste for things?
“Enough questions. Let’s hide behind the bushes and cover our smell with cinnamon. I want to see who is stealing my underwear! They even followed us here!” Wang Ke said softly.
“So that’s all?” Zhang Zhengdao asked in a daze.
“That’s all!” Wang Ke nodded.
“What about fighting to protect your underwear? Aren’t you going to confront that person? You’re not going to fight? You just want to know who it is? That’s all? And give that person two sets of clothes for free?” Zhang Zhengdao asked in dismay.
“What else do you want to do then?” Wang Ke asked.
“I mean, you really aren’t going to do anything else?” Zhang Zhengdao still couldn’t believe it.
“It’s only stealing underwear, not murder! It’s not that big of a deal. Were you really thinking that I would tear that person to pieces? I just want to see which little missy from the Heavenly Wolf Sect has such a perverted fetish!” Wang Ke explained.
“Do you really think any female disciple would be crazy enough to steal your underwear? And even track you down just to steal them?” Zhang Zhengdao asked doubtfully.
“It’s possible! We must be more forgiving to our senior apprentice-sisters!” Wang Ke said.
“What if that person is not a she but a he?” Zhang Zhengdao asked, analyzing the situation.
Wang Ke’s face froze at the thought. A man?
“Damn it! It wouldn’t let off such a damn pervert easily!” Wang Ke’s eyes were raging.
“Uhh?” Zhang Zhengdao was confused by his reaction.
“Damn pervert, how dare he always steal my clothes; I’m going to burn him to death!” Wang Ke said.
“Burn?” Zhang Zhengdao was lost.
Wang Ke took out a sealed bag and filled it with his gold-colored turbid essence Qi. Then, he hid it carefully inside his scarecrow.
“That turbid Qi of yours? What are you trying to do?’ Zhang Zhengdao asked.
Next, Wang Ke took out a piece of paper and covered a small opening which revealed the sealed bag. He then placed a firestone on top of the paper to secure it.
—And on the paper, he wrote, ‘To my underwear-thief: You shall die a miserable death!’
Zhang Zhengdao watched as Wang Ke set up his trap and asked with dubious eyes, “What kind of trap is this? Why don’t I understand?”
“You know nothing. This is based on Sun Zi’s Art of War. Back then, Sun Bin used the words carved on a gravestone to kill Pang Juan! I wrote those words to humiliate the pervert… The guy will become furious and will tear the paper, and then the firestone will light up my essence Qi. Humph! I’m going to roast this pervert like a pig!” Wang Ke said.
“Whoa, such an ingenious trick. But, who is Sun Bin?” Zhang Zhengdao asked.
That was a person from an ancient era back on Earth; it was obviously the first time Zhang Zhengdao had heard the name.
“Sun Bin? He is Sun Zi’s Sun Zi!” Wang Ke explained.
Still, Zhang Zhengdao continued asking, Who is this Sun Zi? Why do you badmouth him?”
TL: “Sun Zi” is the author of the famous Art of War. But his name has the same pronunciation and characters as “grandson” in Chinese. “Grandson,” used in such context, is also derogatory, like “son of a b*tch.”
“I’m not badmouthing him; he is Sun Zi’s Sun Zi. Okay, enough questions. Let’s go!” Wang Ke pulled Zhang Zhengdao along and ran far away.
They were professional cowards; of course they had to hide in a place far away, meaning a dozen mountains away. And then they hid their own smell with spices.
“Don’t you think we are hiding too far away? We can’t even see clearly!” Zhang Zhengdao commented, doubtful.
“Don’t talk so much; you were the one who ran the fastest just now!” Wang Ke shot him a stare.
The two of them watched the valley from a place too far to see clearly.

Tong An’an put on the Dog Nose and took the ten bald men into the woods. Soon, they tracked Wang Ke and Zhang Zhengdao’s scents.
“Hmm?” Tong An’an raised an eyebrow.
“What is it, Chapter Lord?” a bald man asked.
“Wang Ke’s smell went in two different directions?” said Tong An’an with a frown.
“His smell left two different traces? It can’t mean he got hacked in two, right?” another bald man asked, feeling puzzled.
“Nope. Wang Ke must have left his belongings somewhere. Out of these two tracks, only one will lead us to Wang Ke!” Tong An’an sniffed again with the Dog Nose.
