I Might Be A Fake Cultivator - Chapter 179
Chapter 179: Frightening Retarded Superfan
Night slowly fell. After strolling about aimlessly for the entire day, An Lin decided to return to his residence.
M-hm… It’s so late already and tomorrow is the first day of school. Those two siblings have probably left already.
He sighed softly. Who would’ve thought that being famous was so troublesome?
Opening the front door, he was greeted by the pitch-black view of his room.
Click!
The room suddenly became illuminated and two splendidly attired people appeared in his vision.
The male was dressed in black robes, and he looked cold yet dashing; the female was dressed in green garb, and she looked pretty and adorable.
“Surprise!” shouted the two of them in unison.
Then, the male fished out a sword.
“Senior An Lin, I’m First Year, Class One’s Yao Mingxi.”
“Husband! I’m First Year, Class One’s Yao Xiu!”
Her eyes gleamed with emotion.
The male grimaced. “Yao Xiu, control yourself!”
The girl stuck her tongue out cutely, then turned her gaze back at An Lin.
An Lin was dumbstruck. What the f*ck?! They actually entered my room and squatted here the entire time?
That’s terrifying!
The two siblings then said in unison, “Next, please enjoy the performances we prepared for you!”
“The waves of the mighty river~are large and powerful~~ The aroma of the rice plants~travel with the wind to the two shores… My home is at…” Yao Xiu started singing in her crisp and sweet voice.
Yao Mingxi also started his sword dance. The vital energy he exuded pulsated with the melody of the song. It was enjoyable and did not ruin the intent realm of the sword.
Looking at these two nutjobs singing and dancing in his room, An Lin gaped in shock.
After a few minutes, they finished their performance and looked expectantly at An Lin.
“Senior An Lin, did you enjoy the performance we prepared for you?” Yao Mingxi was a bit nervous as he looked at An Lin.
“Yao Xiu learned this mortal song so that you could enjoy the warmth of home!” Yao Xiu looked at An Lin with her large and watery eyes. Her expression was as if she were waiting for him to praise her.
An Lin’s face twitched. You sung “My Motherland” so that I could experience the warmth of home? Amazing!
“Uh-huh, I really like the performance. It’s getting late now, you two should also go back and get some rest.” He forced out a smile.
“Ah… really? Did you really enjoy it?!”
Yao Xiu’s breathing quickened as she gazed at An Lin, and she started to slowly walk toward him.
An Lin’s skin crawled with goosebumps and he shuffled backward to avoid her advances.
“If you like, my sister and I can sing and dance for you every single day!” With eyes that burned with passion, Yao Mingxi also started shuffling toward An Lin.
“There’s no need for you guys to go to such troubles,” An Lin declined. “I’m already very satisfied!”
They both exclaimed eagerly, “It’s no trouble at all!”
It’s not a trouble for you, but it’s a trouble for me! An Lin howled in his mind.
“Senior An Lin, can we please have your signature?”
“Alright…”
An Lin signed his name on their sword hilts.
The hilt was the part of the sword that sword wielders treasured most. Allowing him to sign his name there, these siblings had indeed become his retarded superfans…
“Senior An Lin, this is my voice transmission talisman. Is it okay if we exchange details?”
“Alright…”
An Lin left a mark on their voice transmission talismans. In order to get rid of these two manic fans, he was ready to risk everything.
“Senior An Lin, can we move into your room?”
“Alright…”
???
“Get lost!” An Lin snapped.
Bloody hell, they’re getting more and more out of hand.
In a fit of anger, An Lin released Da Bai and had him chase the siblings out of his room!
“Senior An Lin, we’ll definitely come again!” Yao Mingxi yelled as he ran away.
“I love you, senior! See you tomorrow!” Yao Xiu yelled.
An Lin: “…”
At this moment, the attic window next door opened.
A female looked at the house next to her and saw the foul-tempered An Lin. A beautiful smile spread across her face, and there was a hint of mockery. “Congratulations, An Lin. You’ve gained another two adorable little fans.”
An Lin turned around and glanced at the smiling Xu Xiaolan.
“Quit teasing me,” An Lin sighed. “If I can give away my fans… I’ll give them both away even if I have to pay for others to accept them!”
In all seriousness though, these two retarded superfans had bothered him quite a bit.
He was afraid that they would suddenly jump out again at some random time and start singing and dancing before him.
In order to prevent this from happening, he prepared a security spell formation around his home. Once a stranger set foot upon it, an alarm would sound.
Only after putting all these safeguards in place did he shut his eyes to catch some sleep.
However, right after shutting his eyes, his voice transmission talisman started to vibrate and emit a faint glow.
An Lin was a bit puzzled as he picked up his voice transmission talisman. “Hello? Who is this?”
A soft and gentle voice sounded from the talisman, “It’s me, Yao Xiu.”
An Lin blinked his eyes in confusion. “Uh… Is there anything you need?”
Yao Xiu: “Have you slept yet?”
An Lin: “…”
“What do you think?”
“Oh, then goodnight!” Yao Xiu giggled.
An Lin grimaced and silently hung up the voice transmission talisman.
He never would’ve thought that there would be a day when he was tricked like this.
Say… this voice transmission talisman can’t be turned off, nor can it reject incoming calls…
Sure enough, mobile phones are better!
With a feeling of indignance, he once again lied down to sleep.
The moon set and the sun rose.
The next morning, An Lin woke up.
He once again entered the familiar classrooms. Here, there were familiar teachers and familiar classmates.
However, the class schedule was a bit different from the first year. The morning was still filled with lectures, but the afternoon was now slated for specialty lessons.
Specialty lessons were divided into six categories: pill refinement, tool refinement, spell formation, magic treasure techniques, immortal spells, and divine senses.
Students could pick a class based on their own interests and devote their time and effort into that specialty.
An Lin hesitated for a long time.
As he was filthy rich already, he was completely uninterested in pill refinement and tool refinement. If he wanted immortal pills, he could buy them. As for immortal tools, he had one or two of those as well. He wasn’t in desperate need for either pills nor tools. He wasn’t like a certain Xiao Huohuo[1] anyway, and couldn’t flex through refining pills. Thus, he ignored these two specialties completely.
As for spell formations, these were too complicated and required far too much effort to master. Moreover, setting up spell formations was especially tricky. He had the Divine Inspection technique to see through spell formations anyway and didn’t need to worry at all. Thus, learning spell formations wasn’t a pressing priority either.
With regard to magic treasure techniques… after learning the Six Strikes of the War God, his grasp of sword techniques and understanding of sword intent were already extremely advanced. There wasn’t much space for him to improve, thus he didn’t need to consider this specialty either.
The immortal spells class focused on teaching them how to cast immortal spells in a more efficient manner. Students would also learn some practical immortal spells and be taught how to come up with and create their own immortal spells.
This all sounded quite decent. However, An Lin was already a Sword Immortal. Even if his opponents had all kinds of immortal spells, he would simply shatter them all with his sword! He already specialized in the sword, why would he still dabble in immortal spells? He would simply be inconveniencing himself.
The last specialty was divine senses. This class discussed the applications of one’s divine senses as well as how to strengthen one’s divine senses. It also touched on how to sense the enemy’s movements using one’s divine senses. It appeared as if his Divine Inspection technique also possessed such ability…
An Lin furrowed his brows and stroked his chin, unsure of what to choose.
He discovered a very serious problem.
That was right! He felt that he was very powerful now!
He felt that he had nothing left to learn!
