I Have A Monster Rearing System - Chapter 4
Chapter 4: Sam’s Tavern, Demon Hunting Team

After thinking for a while at home.
The first thing Jobs did was to give up on the hunting method he had used this morning.
This was because killing insects like this would not only give him few monster points but also slow his efficiency. He would not be able to keep up with his monster point expenditure which were gradually increasing.
The idea of going to the demonic beast forest alone to hunt was immediately rejected after a second of thinking.
Although he now had the ability of Information Sharing, it was only an auxiliary skill. No matter how strong it was, it would not help his actual combat power.
Therefore, there was only one way to utilize Information Sharing and efficiently kill living beings to obtain monster points.
That was to follow a demon hunting team in the town and hunt demonic beasts outside!
With his Information Sharing skill, the demon hunting team’s overall hunting speed would definitely increase by a level. At that time, as long as he rejected the gold coins, furs, or anything else, they would likely allow him to land the final hit on the demonic beast!
“Since the plan has been set, let’s start tomorrow!”
Jobs muttered.
It was already late at night, and the demon hunting teams had already returned to the town to rest. Even if he went out, he would not be able to find any suitable teams to join.
Thus, Jobs chose to sleep early tonight.
On the next day.
Early in the morning, Jobs headed toward the center of town.
After the demon hunting teams rested at night, they would usually gather information about the whereabouts of demonic beasts in the surrounding forest in the morning. Then, they would accept missions to hunt.
This information gathering place was in the tavern at the center of the town!
Sam’s Tavern was the busiest place in the entire town of Laner. Whether it was day or night, it was packed with people. Some of these people were drinking all night, while others were having parties.
There was also another group of people, they were the demon hunting teams that gathered information here every day.
After entering the tavern, Jobs happened to see a demon hunting team in a corner of the tavern.
There were three people in the demon hunting team. Two were men in armor, and one was a woman in a robe and holding a staff.
As Information Sharing activated, the information of the people appeared before his eyes.

A Rank Three Swordsman, a Rank Two Swordsman, and a Rank One Mage.
A demon hunting team of such quality was already very powerful in the small town of Laner.
He could make them his target this time!
With that in mind, Jobs immediately walked toward the demon hunting team.
However, he did not walk up to the demon hunting team directly. Instead, he sat at a table beside them and kept observing them.
In his line of sight, he saw that there seemed to be something hidden in that Rank Three Swordsman’s pocket.
“Little Yellow, go.”
Jobs ordered Little Yellow, which had been following him all this time, as it flapped its wings and immediately flew next to this Rank Three Swordsman. At the same time, it approached the pocket of the Rank Three Swordsman and kept getting closer.
Little Yellow used Information Sharing with Jobs to allow him to see for himself.
Jobs found that it was an envelope. The contents of the envelope seemed to suggest that the letter was sent by this Rank Three Swordsman’s wife to report her safety as she was three months pregnant.
He had an idea.
After Little Yellow returned, Jobs stood up and picked up a glass of wine as he walked towards the three demon hunters.
“Fellow Demon Hunters, I wonder if you’re searching for information on the demonic beasts around Laner Town?” Walking to the three of them, Jobs smiled and asked.
The Rank Three Swordsman turned around and looked at Jobs in confusion.
Jobs raised his glass and extended his hand.
“Hi, I’m Jobs.”
“My name is Tazik!”
Tazik looked at Jobs but did not reach out to shake his hand. Instead, he asked in a calm tone, “Why are you asking this?”
Jobs did not care about Tazik’s attitude and continued, “If possible, I want to join your team and hunt monsters together.”
After hearing what Jobs said, Tazik realized that Jobs was not here to pick a fight with them. His expression changed and his tone softened, but he still said subconsciously.
“Little brother, forgive me for being blunt, but hunting monsters is not as simple as you think. Perhaps, you may think that we look cool in our armor when we wield swords to kill monsters, but in reality, every move is the result of training thousands of times in front of death’s doors. If we are not careful, we will die in the hands of the monsters.”
“Hunting monsters is a very cruel thing. Unless you can prove your strength to me, you’d better go home. I won’t take you there.”
“I will prove my own strength,” Jobs said slowly, looking at Tazik with a calm expression.
At the next second…
“Hey, Boss!” The other Rank Two Swordsman suddenly looked at Tazik with a shocked expression on his face as he said, “Boss, why didn’t you tell me that sister-in-law is pregnant?! If I had known earlier, I would have given you all the bounty for the last mission.”
“?!!”
Tazik looked at the companion in front of him with a stunned expression.
However, as the leader, he naturally sensed something when he saw his companion’s sudden reaction.
Tazik looked at the young man in front of him and asked, “Beirut, how did you know about this?”
The young man named Beirut was taken aback by the question. He said subconsciously, “I don’t know either. I think I heard a voice telling me about sister-in-law’s pregnancy.”
Seeing this, Tazik turned to look at Jobs, but there was no contempt in his eyes anymore.
“Mr. Tazik, I have already proven my ability. I wonder… if I can join your demon hunting team?”
Tazik paused for a moment and raised his glass to his lips.
“Although I want you to join the team, you have to know that my wife just got pregnant…”
“It doesn’t matter. I’ll follow your hunting team and I don’t want any items that we obtain. I only have one request.”
“It is very simple. You just need to let me deal the final blow every time we kill a monster,” Jobs smiled and said his condition.
Tazik’s expression eased after hearing this.
Just now, Jobs had stated that he did not want to kill the demonic beasts for their fur, crystal core, or even the bounty. Tazik had thought that Jobs had some sort of outrageous request, but in the end, it was just to give him the final blow to kill the monster.
Although this was very strange, it was not impossible for him to accept.
“I agree to let you join my demon hunting team, but I also have a request.”
“Can you tell me what your magical ability is?” Tazik looked straight at Jobs and finally asked.
As a Rank Three Swordsman, in this Laner Town, he was one of the more knowledgeable people. He knew that what Jobs had just used was definitely some kind of magic, but he clearly could not sense any magic fluctuations from Jobs. This was something he had never experienced before in his life.
Was it because Jobs’ mage rank was too high so Tazik could not detect it when he used magic?
But if that was the case, given how powerful Jobs was, he could just go to the demonic beast forest to hunt demonic beasts himself. Why would he join their demon hunting team?
“You don’t need to understand my ability. All you need to know is that I can share the information of the monsters I know with you guys.”
“I believe you can’t refuse me after knowing this ability.” Jobs smiled and replied to Tazik’s question.
Information Sharing was one of his trump cards. Naturally, he would not tell anyone easily.
Seeing Jobs’ answer, Tazik knew that he would not be able to get any information out of him.
Also, Jobs was right.
To be able to tell them the information he knew about the monsters in the form of a voice would be of great help to their hunt.
Whether it was scouting, fighting, or escaping, they were all crucial elements.
He could not reject such a powerful ability!
“In that case, Jobs, welcome to my demon hunting team!” Tazik smiled and extended his hand towards Jobs.
