Mike woke up the next morning. He got up quietly, lest he wake Melanda. Then he went to Millie’s room and sat down beside her while he waited for her to wake up.

Millie woke up quickly. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Mike and immediately smiled widely.

“Daddy, when did you come back?”

“While you were asleep. Good morning, my little princess.” Mike gave Millie a morning kiss.

“Good morning, Daddy.”

Millie hugged Mike’s neck and hung on to Dad. She was picked up by Mike.

“Is Mommy awake?”

“Not yet. Let her sleep a little longer. Her body needs to rest.”

Mike carried Millie into the washroom. He looked at Millie, who was standing on the small stool, while washing her face and brushing her teeth. He felt blessed.

“Let’s go choose a beautiful dress now.”

Mike carried Millie back to the room.

“Why? Are we going out?” Millie asked curiously.

“Daddy has a whole day to accompany you guys today. We’ll go to the mall to buy something first, then go to the amusement park, okay?”

“That’s great! Dad has time to accompany me! Can I buy the toys I like?”

“Of course! You can buy anything you want.” Mike was very happy to see Millie happy.

“I have to go tell Mom the good news.”

“Then you have to be quiet. If Mom isn’t awake, tell her later.”

“Got it, Daddy.” Millie lowered her voice specially and gave Mike an OK gesture.

Millie went to Melanda’s room quietly. She saw that Melanda was still asleep and sat obediently beside her to wait.

After watching for a while, she couldn’t help but kiss her mother’s face.

Melanda immediately opened her eyes. “Good morning, my sweetheart.’

“Good morning, Mom.” Seeing her mother looking around, Millie said thoughtfully, “Dad is already up. He’s going to prepare breakfast!” “Really? Then it looks like I’m the last to get up.”

Melanda felt a little embarrassed.

“Dad didn’t let me wake you up. But I have good news. I can’t help but share it with you.”

Millie smiled sweetly.

“What is the good news that makes my baby so happy? I really wants to know.”

Melanda’s curiosity was piqued.

“Dad can accompany us to the mall and amusement park today!” Millie sounded happy.

Mike walked behind with his arm around Melanda’s waist. His eyes were on his beloved fiancée, and Melanda’s eyes were on the child.

The service staff in the shop felt their faces heat up when they saw this handsome man and beautiful woman acting lovey-dovey, as if no one was around. They turned their faces away and were too embarrassed to look again.

Millie quickly picked out a game set. She turned to Mike and said, “Daddy, can I get this?”

“Of course you can, baby.”

Mike walked forward and picked up the toy to pay.

“Let’s go pick out some more clothes,” he continued.

“That’s great. Thank you, Daddy.” Millie was so happy.

She was indeed a fashionista. She had liked new clothes since she was a child. Millie quickly picked a pink outfit. Melanda and Mike thought it was very beautiful. “Honey, you should pick out a few clothes too,” Mike told Melanda.
