I was staring at my status window in the middle of a forest filled with dried leaves all around.
I had to stop and look because of the endless increase in my newly added ability, fame.
It was rising as mercilessly as the meter in a cab until it finally reached a whopping 4,207 points of fame.
This fame value I’ve obtained through clearing a hidden quest that I’ve never cleared in my life. I was still unsure if that 4 digit number means a lot or not.
Not only that, I wasn’t able to tell what kind of benefits it will grant me or even damages it may bring.
But nonetheless, a reward is still a reward. A reward from clearing a hidden quest is sure to bring more benefits than downsides.
In fact, the real thing that mattered was something else.
The real thing that mattered the most is the ‘clue to the rare class’, which is one of the rewards I received from clearing the hidden quest.
I got this reward while feeling the sharp absence of ‘techniques’ in my battle against Python, which increased my longing for a class.
A rare class, I’ve only heard of it before.
Unlike normal classes, a rare class is said to handle knowledge, power, and techniques that are considered the most secret, even for the world of <Circuit>.
And this clue to the rare class, which can only be claimed by a chosen few, was the reward from clearing the hidden quest.
And the reward wasn’t even guaranteed loot, it was by chance.
“I can’t believe I’m this lucky…“
My heart started pounding at the fact that I, who was living under the name of ‘Mose’, could get employed.
My dream of employment which I couldn’t achieve even in real life.
However, this sense of disparity grabbed me by my ankle like a shadow sticking to it.
To be quite honest, I don’t even know the real value of the Orumacon token inside my inventory, there was no way for me to even have the slightest idea on what kind of rare class this clue will lead to.
I decided to get up and keep moving from the spot since I don’t know when and where I will be able to get the clue to it. I had to head to a village a bit more up north since I gathered too much attention in Toico. However it had to be a sizable village with lots of shops in it.
I also had to be able to purchase a ‘vehicle’ which was the most important factor. I had to get myself prepared perfectly with camping tools and potions if I wanted to visit a village as little as possible in the first place.
After hours of walking, I arrived at a city with impressive architecture built with azure bricks.
< Continental Border City Falupe >
Words that came to my mind with loud magnificent music covered my eyes, but I couldn’t keep my eyes on that. Because the moment I took a step beyond the giant rampart,
All of my attention was taken by the person who just passed by me.
“Oh my god.”
I bursted out an exclamation without even realizing it.
A woman with her fine and thin hair streaming, her hair shimmered gold even when the sun was about to set.
I was able to take a peek at her eyes when our eyes met for a split second. Her eyes were bright green as if the heart of the emerald was melted into them. And, she had pointy ears.
Her skin was as white as snowflakes perched on a young sprout in a cold winter.
She passed by me like the wind fluttering her golden blonde hair.
That was the first time I’ve ever seen an ‘elf’ in my life.
A being that is human-like but is not human nonetheless. A being that I can only meet in the world of <Circuit>, just passed by me.
Just a split second of interaction made my ears turn red and my heart bump through my rib cage.
The first time I felt the presence of the being I only could interact indirectly through media was pure ecstasy itself.
“She’s literally breath-taking…”
It felt like I was going out of my mind. I hurried into the inside of Falupe mumbling about the elf to myself.
And the moment I entered Falupe, I could hear the instruments that made funny noises.
Humans and other foreign races gathered around the noisy places, and shouted small cheers.
When the street started getting dark, floating lanterns were regularly illuminating the street.
“And the Dragon Knight made his appearance~”
A high pitched and wonderful voice resounded around the place and into my ears, which was focused on the intriguing mysteries of the city streets. And of course, when I turned to face the direction that the noise was coming from,
A good looking male elf was singing a song while focusing his eyes on me. And the attention of the audience who came to listen to the elf sing was suddenly focused on me.
“Oh my gosh! He’s wearing fancy armor just like the knight from the song.”
“Woah! The real knight has made his appearance, huh.”
The audience around me noticed how I was dressed and started to cheer and whistle for me.
Awkwardly standing, I nodded at them and rushed to the shopping street.
There was a young raccoon named Radoby who owned a shop called Radoby’s Mystic Store’.
“Welcome, customer.”
A furry raccoon in a fancy tuxedo greeted me.
“Oh! I can’t believe we’ve got a knight in our store! He must be in need of some fancy products for sure!”
The small raccoon started to hurriedly spin around me, and guided me to a corner of his store.
“Uh, well…”
Not only was I surprised at the existence of a talking raccoon,
I was also mesmerized by his swift action, so I was drawn to the corner of the store by the raccoon’s hand.
“ If thaaaat’s the case! Then you have no business being in the ‘Daily Necessities Section’ at all!!”
Clenching his small paws as hard as he could, Radoby stopped in front of a full body mirror in the corner of his store. Then he pulled out a small wand out of his inner pocket from his tuxedo and brandished it as if he was drawing something on the surface of the mirror.
Then the mirror started to wobble like the surface of water and a picture was drawn just like the pattern engraved on his wand. The silver mirror started to change its color into black, and Radoby bowed his head in front of the mirror to me and said,
“If you are spending more than 100 gold! Then I can offer you a 5 gold ticket that you can use in only our store! Alright then, I hope you have an amazing time!”
Then he pushed my back into the mirror. I plunged into the black mirror before I could even say anything.
The place that unfolded before me in a blink of an eye was a completely different world than I was in.
There were many variety stores in a huge open area filled with loud customers. Contrary to the quiet ambience outside of the mirror, this place was literally way too overcrowded.
Then a goblin in ragged attire approached me.
“Are you looking for something?”
I came back to my senses when I heard the low emotionless voice from it.
“I’m looking for vehicles… Potions, and camping tools. But first, I want to see the veh-”
The goblin turned around and shouted out loud before I could even finish my sentence.
“Vehicles, potions, and camping tools!”
Suddenly, a few of the shelves that had filled the store’s ceilings and walls flew right in front of me, moving ruthlessly in the air like an accelerating car.
“Huh…”
I was so surprised that I took a step back. I was able to take a step forward when I checked the shelves that stopped right in front of me.
“I hope you have a great time shopping.”
The goblin rushed to another place in a hurry after saying that in a robot-like tone.
Wow, I’ve actually never seen anything like this before…”
I couldn’t help but be surprised when I approached to see the products on the first shelf.
There were small scrolls placed on very luxurious pedestals on the huge shelf. I should mention that these scrolls were on the shelf that had ‘Vehicles’ written on it.
I focused my sights on a random scroll on the shelf.

Good god. There was a vehicle that seemed like a motorcycle was on sale while being engraved into a scroll. Products that were hard to find inside the continent were being sold in the border as if they were nothing.
I quickly moved to the next vehicle on the shelf.
As I moved on through the vehicles I realized that they were getting higher in terms of both performance and prices. And the bottom shelf even had,
[ Wallemp Griffon ]
Class: Vehicle
Rank: Magic
Age: 14 years old
It’s an engraved scroll. You can use the product by removing the engraving after the purchase. It is not possible to engrave the product back into the scroll once you pull it out of the scroll. The user is responsible for everything that happens after.

A live animal engraved into the scroll like this one. I was thinking of a system like purchasing something from the stall or something. I never even thought that the vehicles would be engraved into the scrolls.
It was while I was observing closely the products on the shelves, taking my time looking into them.
Crash! Bump!
Suddenly, I heard a loud crashing noise from afar.
Boom!
“Kyaah!”
“Wh-What was that!”
With an exploding sound, people started screaming. And soon all the shelves around the store started to fall, with a thick smoke coming from the top of the store.
A man appeared through the smoke soon after the noise.
He covered himself in a black cloak, had an old iron circlet on his forehead, and a noticeably thick dark circle under his eyes.
“Cough Cough! Y-you bastard… This is not what you promised!”
Then the man who came out of the smoke coughing skillfully pulled out a pair of daggers from his waist with his brows furrowed.
“You said it yourself, didn’t you? That you would bet ‘the thing I wanted’ on the last round of the game.”
“To hell with you! You can only lose or win money in gambling!”
“Bullshit. I’ll make sure to teach you that you can also lose your life from gambling, today.”
Soon after he said that, a sword with its blade tainted in black popped out of his cloak. Its blade was thin compared to other swords used normally, it looks similar to a sword used for fencing.
I know there was a name for swords that look like that in games and novels, but I couldn’t quite recall at the time.
“Cocky little shit!”
The man with the daggers bent forward and sharply moved towards his opponent. The movement was so quick that I couldn’t even dare to chase it with the dynamic visual acuity allowed with my current stats.
Clank! Clank!
A burst of flames sparked in the air, and soon the man in black cloak raised his arms with the sword in his hand.
The facial expression of the man with daggers quickly darkened at the man in the cloak’s action.
“ Y-you…! Are you seriously going to…”
Said the man, while freaking out. However the man in the cloak has already taken his action, slamming his blade into the ground at a lightning speed.
And soon after,
“Kyaah!”
“ U-Uwaah!”
“ R-R-Run away!”
It happened at the same time as people started screaming.
Bang—!
There was an explosion, and the whole store was shaking in the aftermath. I too lost my balance and fell to the ground. Even so, I did not ever take my eyes off the two of them.
And then, I oddly remembered the name of the swords that the man in the cloak was using.
Right, it’s a sword used by fairies in some other comics. It’s called… the ‘rapier’!
About the time I was smiling in the satisfaction of fulfilling my curiosity while leaving the mess behind, all the clouds of dust cleared up and the man in the black cloak appeared again.
And in front of that, the man with daggers had become a burned corpse.
“Of course a scoundrel like you wouldn’t have something like the ‘Polorun’s Star’. It was dumb of me to believe this guy.”
The moment he said that, I could feel every single one of the holes in my body expand in excitement. I was getting goosebumps. A thunderous wave of lightning streaming from the back of my neck down my spines to the tip of my toes.
And at that moment,
< The hidden quest reward is activated. >
< The clue to the rare class (Coincidence) >
< A new hidden quest is activated. >
< Rare Class, Sworder >
Talk to the man in the black cloak.
A golden set of words appeared in my sight and disappeared quickly.
The reward of the hidden quest, which creates coincidence and ties, must have been more valuable than any other chained quests out there.
I carefully caressed the pendant I had around my neck. While indulging in the exhilarating pleasure from creating the new coincidence resulted from the item I had!
