Hello Mr. King - Chapter 245
Chapter 245: Coming Back for an Old Love
He Xingzhou raised his head to look at Lu Jin and Yun Xiangxiang on the roof. He looked desolate. “This is perhaps an irrevocable end.”
Yun Xiangxiang picked up a flower on the roof and tossed it down.
They didn’t manage to capture Yun Xiangxiang in the end. With Hou Cang and Sun Qiluo as their prisoners, they scored two points.
“Okay, you now have ten minutes to go back to your territory. Or else you’ll be their prisoners,” Yun Xiangxiang shrugged. They left, but she stayed on the roof.
Sun Qiluo and Hou Cang used Lu Jin and He Xingzhou’s strategy. Hou Cang went after Lu Jin and He Xingzhou.
Sun Qiluo was annoyed when she found Yun Xiangxiang sitting on the roof. She asked the program team, “You can even climb walls?”
“As long as it’s within the rules,” they replied.
“Give me a ladder!” Sun Qiluo rolled up her sleeves. She looked like she was going to pick a fight with Yun Xiangxiang.
“The program team does not provide any help,” they said the same thing to her.
“You’re telling me she climbed up there herself?” Sun Qiluo immediately looked at the nearby places in an attempt to find where Yun Xiangxiang started climbing.
She also saw the chairs that could only fit one foot, but she couldn’t use them to give her a leg up.
“Sister Qiluo, don’t waste your time with me here. You should help Brother Cang capture Xingzhou’s team. Lu Jin isn’t an easy catch,” Yun Xiangxiang reminded her kindly.
Lu Jin had great reflexes and intellect. Even if they only had two streets to work with, it wasn’t certain that Hou Cang could catch them.
“Get down here! We’ll have a battle to the death!” Sun Qiluo challenged her.
“Elder sister, you should know that your sister is nothing but a defenseless woman. All I have is my intellect,” Yun Xiangxiang whispered like she did as Madam Xi in “The King’s Plan.”
Sun Qiluo wandered back and forth angrily. She jumped up a few times in an attempt to catch Yun Xiangxiang’s feet. Alas, she couldn’t even reach her hem.
“If you stay here, you’ll get no points at all,” Yun Xiangxiang reminded her again after the stalemate had gone on for a while.
With Lu Jin there, even if Hou Cang managed to catch He Xingzhou with his reflexes, Lu Jin could bust him out anyway.
That was the upside of having a team. Yun Xiangxiang held her cheeks, thinking about how she should score three points later.
Sun Qiluo would be her first target. Hou Cang might be a tricky opponent, but as she was a girl, he couldn’t have too much physical contact with her. If he came to save Sun Qiluo, Yun Xiangxiang could take them both down.
She would let Lu Jin go and focus on He Xingzhou. They only had so much land to escape.
Sun Qiluo finally gave up on Yun Xiangxiang and went back to help Hou Cang capture He Xingzhou. Lu Jin managed to hold on until time ran out.
When there were only two minutes remaining for Sun Qiluo’s team, Yun Xiangxiang started walking back and arrived when the time was almost up.
She used a shawl to tie up the hindering sleeves before going to the border between her land and the others’ land.
She dashed forward when her time started. As she expected, Sun Qiluo was the one nearest her land. Hou Cang was also nearby.
Sun Qiluo didn’t expect Yun Xiangxiang to be so fast. She could have caught her any minute now. She stopped and turned around twice before Yun Xiangxiang caught her. She barely spent five minutes on this.
“Ow ow ow, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts!” Sun Qiluo suddenly screamed.
“It won’t if you just stop struggling,” Yun Xiangxiang learned a lot about meridians from Song Mian.
“You are a demon,” Sun Qiluo looked bitter. She stopped trying to escape.
Hou Cang of course had to save Sun Qiluo from being captured. But just as Yun Xiangxiang expected, Hou Cang couldn’t use the strategies he used against Lu Jin and He Xingzhou on her.
He only tested the waters from the side. Yun Xiangxiang grabbed Sun Qiluo and kept her as a defense. She wasn’t planning to go on the offense.
As he closed in toward Yun Xiangxiang’s land, Hou Cang made a sudden attack. He rushed toward Sun Qiluo in an attempt to wrest her from Yun Xiangxiang’s hands.
But at the moment of his rush, Yun Xiangxiang made a sudden turn, dragging Sun Qiluo along with her. She used the momentum to crash into Hou Cang.
Hou Cang immediately stopped. But Sun Qiluo was pulled back before she crashed into him.
Yun Xiangxiang attacked from the other side and grabbed Hou Cang’s elbow.
The feint was a good move from her. Sun Qiluo was in a daze. When Hou Cang knew what was happening, Yun Xiangxiang had already caught him.
The place Yun Xiangxiang caught caused him to lose feeling and strength in his elbow.
“Don’t struggle, Brother Cang. I caught your ulnar nerve, you see,” Yun Xiangxiang smiled sweetly.
It didn’t take long for them to be dragged back by Yun Xiangxiang.
“Hou Cang is captured. Sun Qiluo is captured; Hou Cang is captured. Sun Qiluo is captured.”
He Xingzhou’s jaw dropped so much, it could fit an egg. “How much time is left?”
“Twenty minutes,” the program team answered.
“She’s brutal,” He Xingzhou looked scared. “My instincts are telling me that she will come for me.”
She would win if she just grabbed another one.
He Xingzhou had chased after her for a while when he was using her in their bout. She ran as fast as a hare.
Around three minutes later, Yun Xiangxiang appeared in He Xingzhou’s line of sight. “My dear, were you not asking me to come home? I am here to take you back now.”
He Xingzhou shook his head as he retreated. “You’re not my wife. You’re a cruel witch.”
“Are you coming quietly, or are we doing this the hard way?” Yun Xiangxiang smiled eerily.
“I won’t go with you even if it’s the last thing I do!”
“Don’t blame me for this then.”
Yun Xiangxiang dashed forward. He Xingzhou started running, but Yun Xiangxiang was inching closer. “Oh my god, she’s The Flash!”
He immediately turned around and saw Lu Jin. Yun Xiangxiang ignored Lu Jin and focused on chasing He Xingzhou.
They had too little land. He Xingzhou might have decent speed, but he was quickly cornered by Yun Xiangxiang. On both sides were walls. Behind him was Yun Xiangxiang’s land, and Yun Xiangxiang herself stood in front of him.
“My dear, that’s your current husband. You should go for him. Our love only exists in the annals of history now,” He Xingzhou suddenly cried.
Yun Xiangxiang nearly laughed, “I remember someone complaining about me ditching the old love for the new.”
Yun Xiangxiang closed in, “I’m coming back for you now, my love.”
He Xingzhou bent down in an attempt to escape through the underside of her arms. Yun Xiangxiang propped her leg up against the wall to block him.
She pointed at the space behind him, “Jump in there yourself, or else…”
“Crack, crack,” Yun Xiangxiang cracked her fingers.
He Xingzhou gulped, “I’ll do it myself, don’t kill me…”
He turned around and jumped inside Yun Xiangxiang’s land under her oppressive gaze.
