Chapter 611: Looking for a Sense of Existence
“Xia Ning, I will kill you!” Shen Weiwei almost went crazy at Xia Ning’s words. She was about to rush to Xia Ning directly, but Shen Tianlang blocked her.
“Weiwei, be calm.” Shen Tianlang said to Shen Weiwei loudly.
Shen Weiwei was so furious that she immediately shouted at Shen Tianlang, “How can I be calm? This bitch is cursing me. I’m your own sister. How can you help her insult me?”
While Shen Weiran feared being called an illegitimate daughter, Shen Weiwei feared being called a simpleton. Shen Weiwei had no advantage except for her glorious family background. She became an actress with the excuse of learning from her aunt. In fact, it was because of her poor grades at school! Shen Weiwei wanted to prove herself by choosing a brilliant profession – an actress. Her aunt Shen Weiran being the Movie Queen was such a good marketing means.
Xia Ning completely ignored Shen Weiwei who was quarreling with Shen Tianlang. Perhaps because Shen Weiwei had insulted Xia Ning in her childhood, Xia Ning wanted Shen Weiwei to die. But now Xia Ning found a more amusing and direct way. Xia Ning would make Shen Weiwei lose what she cared about the most.
The greatest pain in the world was to lose something most precious.
Xia Ning turned to walk to the sofa and sat down regardless of Shen Donglai and Shen Weiran’s gaze.
“Mr. Zhang, Mr. Qi, sit down. There is no need to be courteous.” Xia Ning smiled at the two lawyers she brought here.
Mr. Zhang and Mr. Qi nodded at Xia Ning and found a place to sit down.
Shen Donglai frowned deeply at Xia Ning but could not vent his anger. If he said something, Xia Ning would block him completely.
Looking at her watch, Xia Ning frowned, “Why hasn’t the old Mr. Shen come? It has passed the appointed time. If it is inconvenient for him to come, we might as well start.”
Shen Tianlang looked at Xia Ning as she was impatient on the sofa. He turned to the butler, “Where is my grandpa?”
The butler instantly said, “He will come down soon.”
Xia Ning curled her lips slightly, leaned on the sofa, and brought out her cell phone to surf the web leisurely.
The atmosphere in the room was unspeakably stifling. Nobody looked happy.
Song Chenfeng walked inside and directly sat down beside Song Bocheng who had been quiet all the while. Xia Ning was opposite him.
But when he sat down, that person did not even raise her eyelids.
Song Chenfeng looked at Xia Ning, moved his eyebrows and said suddenly, “Dad, why don’t I know Aunt Shen has a younger sister? This person abruptly came to say she is Aunt Shen’s niece. Who knows whether it is true?”
He was apparently questioning Xia Ning’s identity! Of course, Song Chenfeng was helping Shen Weiran. He just wanted the person opposite him to fix her eyes on him.
But his words triggered no answer. The person opposite him looked at the screen of her cell phone and did not raise her head as if she had heard nothing.
Song Chenfeng grew angry. Beside him, Song Bocheng suddenly opened his mouth, “Xia Ning’s mother was really the Shen family’s daughter, born of the first wife.”
Shen Weiran’s face darkened when she heard him. She looked towards Song Bocheng and said angrily, “Song Bocheng, what did you mean by this? !” Even he despised her?!
Song Bocheng looked up at her indifferently, “I meant nothing. I just said the truth!”
“Song Bocheng, don’t think that I don’t know what is on your mind!” Shen Weiran sneered, “Pitifully, you cannot get what you what even if you die!”
Xia Ning looked at Song Bocheng and Shen Weiran as they confronted each other. Xia Ning curled her lips slightly. It was interesting to easily see such a farce.
Seeing Xia Ning amused, Song Chenfeng frowned heavily. This woman was obviously watching a drama. But couldn’t she have a look at him?! Why does he not have a sense of existence?!
Meanwhile, the sound of someone walking on the staircases came. Everybody turned there.
Shen Tianlang looked at the person, went to him immediately, and greeted him respectfully, “Grandpa.”
