Deadly Doting Marriage Novel - Chapter 63
Chapter 63: This Has Nothing to Do With You
He grabbed her clothes and tore her clothes into shreds like a violent beast.
“Kathleen, you are mine. Don’t even think about escaping!”
He fiercely kissed her cheeks her neck and finally landed on her lips.
Kathleen trembled violently and looked at him in disbelief.
“Did you hear that? You’re mine!” he roared wildly, his large hand tightly holding onto her slender body.
Kathleen closed her eyes and stopped struggling. She was like a puppet, letting him do whatever he wanted with her.
A drop of tears fell from her large, lifeless eyes onto her fair cheeks.
John raised his head. He looked at her tear-stained face and suddenly released his grip on her.
“Remember, I raised you. Don’t ever think of escaping from me!” After saying this, John stood up and strode away.
A deafening sound came from the door.
Kathleen was lying on the bed, quietly watching everything.
Moments later, she wiped the tears off her face and threw the torn clothes into the trash can.
The phone started to ring. She picked it up and saw it was a message. “I’ve already found out that your father was framed. I’ve sent an email with the evidence!”
“You don’t have to live in shackles anymore. All of this has nothing to do with you!”
These two short sentences made Kathleen’s heartache.
Her entire body trembled as she curled up. She actually had no courage to open the email.
In fact, she knew from the beginning that her father would not drink and drive.
Luther was such a kind and gentle person, so how could he kill John’s parents by drunk driving?
Someone might have deliberately planned all of this to frame Luther Yates.
Initially, she had not wanted to open it. She finally opened it and saw the content of the email. It felt like someone had stabbed her heard with a knife!
She would continue to pretend as if her father had caused the death of John’s parents, and she was still paying off her debt..
In the middle of the night, the cold wind whistled, and the cold moonlight brought about a faint glimmer of light.
John left Kathleen’s apartment and drove back to the Lambert family’s residential villa in Hillford.
After parking the car, John strode into his bedroom and slammed the door with a bang.
After washing up, he laid down on his bed. It was already late at night.
However, John’s mind was filled with the image of Kathleen rejecting him.
“Then what does young master want me to do? Do you want me to stay in an ambiguous relationship with you?”
“Does young master want me to be your mistress or do you want me to marry you!”
“Do you think it’s possible? My father is your enemy. How could I marry you?”
“Young master, you’d better wake up and face reality! If young master needs me to repay my debts for raising me, I will repay you!”
Kathleen’s words were like a bomb dropped on John’s heart or a huge thunder that struck him so hard that he could not utter a single word.
Kathleen, the orphan girl he had raised. The girl who he thought was well-behaved and sensible, began to rebel against him!
She actually wanted to escape from him and even confessed that she wanted to marry Carlos.
The veins on John’s forehead popped up, and his handsome face was twisted into a furious beast out of anger.
He stood up and threw the cups on the coffee table and the table lamp on the bedside table onto the floor.
The sound of glass shattering was deafening.
Over the years, he had developed a lonely and irritable personality. Even he could not control it.
He knew that he had mania?
The only antidote was Kathleen. As long as she was obedient, he would have his illness under control.
However, she was no longer obedient and began to fight back against him.
How dare she? How dare she have such thoughts?
John was furious. He stepped forward and kicked the chair in front of him.
He continued to vent his anger in the room and smashed everything in the room.
Barkley heard the noise from the servant’s room and quickly put on his coat. He hurriedly opened the door and walked in. “Young Master!”
“Who told you to enter? John looked at Barkley coldly.
Barkley shivered. “I’m just concerned about you…”
“Get lost!” Barkley was so scared that he closed the door and left. The next morning after John had left the room, Barkley walked in.
Barkley could not believe his eyes.
Everything In the spacious and luxurious bedroomon had been destroyed.
All the books on the bookshelf fell to the ground. The books were soaked wet from the water in the teacups.
The chairs were kicked into pieces.
Even the bedsheets and quilt were pulled off the bed onto the floor, leaving only an empty bed.
Barkley sighed and hurriedly ordered the servants to clean it up.
Ever since Ms. Yates left home, the young master’s temper had become increasingly out of control.
Every day, he would either be sullen or lose his temper.
The Lambert Group.
As usual, John drove his car to the entrance and went straight into the lobby.
When the staff at the front desk saw John, they hurriedly greeted him with a smile.
John entered the CEO’s private elevator with a sullen face without giving them a single glance.
A few of the front desk staff muttered, “What’s going on? Mr. Lambert doesn’t look happy!’
“Yeah, even though he used to have a cold expression, it’s not as gloomy as today. It’s like someone offended him!”
“Hurry up and inform the other colleagues. Don’t provoke Mr. Lambert!”
Before John arrived at the office, the gossip within the company had already spread.
On the 26th floor, everyone in the secretary’s office was sitting upright, afraid that something might go wrong and anger Mr. Lambert.
The elevator door opened. John walked straight into his office with a cold expression.
There was a company meeting at nine o’clock. The huge conference room was filled with the head of departments.
John sat in the main seat. He raised his hand and threw the documents toward the general manager of the sales department.
“The sales for this quarter have dropped by 30% compared to the previous quarter. Is this the result of your six months of service?”
“You single-handedly brought down the entire sales department?”
Bryan Carter’s face turned pale from John’s scolding. He hurriedly said, “Mr. Lambert, it’s not like that. Please listen to my explanation!”
“Is there a need to explain? The data speaks for itselfl” John’s gaze was cold. “From now on, your salary will be reduced by 30%. When will the sales results come back? When will your salary be restored!”
The sales manager held the document in his hands and held in his tears.
“Next!”
The operations manager shakily stood up and explained the operation plan for this period.
John’s face was even gloomier than before. His black eyes were as cold as ice. “The operation plan directly affects the group’s sales. Is this the operation plan made by your group?”
