Kathleen turned around.

She looked at the man who was lying on the ground.

John smiled and shook his head. “I’m fine.”

She immediately got someone to help John up. She went to pick up John’s prosthetic leg that had been kicked away and looked for a doctor to treat John.

Fortunately, John had only fainted after being seriously injured.

After being treated by the doctor, he was stabilized.

Kathleen stayed by John’s side and fell asleep.

The next morning, John woke up and opened his eyes.

He reached out to touch Kathleen’s hair.

Kathleen immediately woke up.

She looked at the man. “You’re awake? Are you feeling unwell?”

John shook his head and said, “No.”

He looked at the woman who had obviously taken care of him the entire night. His heart ached terribly, and he stretched out his hand to pat the seat beside him. “Come up and sleep with me for a while.”

Kathleen fought back. Just as she was fighting with the clone, Diana suddenly appeared and launched a sneak attack from behind, stabbing a dagger into Kathleen’s body.

She looked at Diana, who had suddenly appeared. “You’re not dead either!”

Diana laughed maliciously. “That’s right, I haven’t died yet. That’s why I was able to take your life at this moment!”

Diana’s eyes were filled with malice and hatred as she looked coldly at Kathleen. “Because of you and John, my father died, and I almost lost my life in the sea.”

“I’m alive for the sake of revenge!”

The clone and Diana closed in on Kathleen.

Diana easily saw through the thoughts of the clone.

She smiled icily. “You are really useless!”
