Deadly Doting Marriage Novel - Chapter 189
Chapter 189: I Will Treat Her Eyes
Bach did not expect Shane to refuse. His eyes were cold. “Shane, don’t forget who taught you your martial arts! You are no match for me.”
“I…” Shane was tongue-tied. He lowered his head.
Indeed, if they really fought, he was no match for Bach.
“Leave it to me!” Bach stretched out his hand.
“No way!” Shane rejected once again. He could not give the jade to Bach. “Young master, I only listen to miss!”
Bach was so angry that his entire body was emitting a cold intent. “Shane, it looks like you have forgotten everything in the past!”
“I haven’t forgotten!” How could Shane forget? If it were not for Bach, he would not be the person he was today.
“Since you remembered, then hand over the jade to me. Kathleen is my wife. I will personally treat her eyes.”
As Bach’s voice fell, Shane knew that there was no way out.
He gripped the jade box in his hand tightly. “Young master, I’m sorry, I can’t hand the jade to you.”
After saying that, he leaped up and was about to leave Bach’s side.
“You overestimate yourself!” Bach curled his lips and sneered. He took large strides to catch up and started fighting with Shane.
Bach was a top-notch expert. No matter how good Shane’s skills were, he was far from a match for Bach.
Meanwhile, Shane was desperately protecting the box containing the jade to prevent it from falling.
Bach was attacking Shane with fatal attacks, not giving him a chance to retaliate.
After a few rounds, Shane was injured and was on the verge of death. Bach stepped on him. He looked down at Shane with a sneer, “Shane, since you have betrayed me, everything I have given you must be taken back, including your life!”
Shane was barely breathing, and his eyes were unfocused. However, he still tried his best to plead for mercy. “Young master, I beg you. Even if you want to take back everything, can you wait until I give the jade to miss?”
Diana, Larry, and Janice both wanted to kill miss. Her eyes had to regain their light as soon as possible.
He would die for her.
“Ha!”
Bach sneered.
His smile was filled with ridicule. “You’re rather loyal. I’ll treat her eyes!”
After saying that, he had his subordinates take the jade away from Shane’s hands and then ordered someone to throw him toward the cliff.
The moment Shane was thrown off the cliff, his entire body was in so much pain that he had lost consciousness.
As the cold wind gradually descended, his eyes were actually filled with clarity.
‘I hope I had served you well…l will continue to serve you in the next life!’
Shane closed his eyes, his lips revealing a smile.
Bach took the jade, and his eyes were filled with pride.
‘Kathleen, you are mine, and only I can let you see the light again.’
“Let’s go!” Bach gave the order and slowly left.
His subordinates followed.
After Bach left, Diana, waiting outside the royal tomb, immediately walked out of the darkness.
She did not see Shane come out. Moreover, there was a small box in Bach’s hands.
From the looks of it, it was the jade.
Diana knew who this Bach was. He was not someone easy to deal with. She had to think of a way to destroy this jade. Otherwise, Kathleen’s eyes would see the light again, and it would be even harder to deal with Kathleen.
Although she did not get the jade stone today, at least she knew this secret. It would not be in vain for her to put in a listening device.
Bach took the jade and returned it to the Taylor family. He placed the jade in the freezer. When Kathleen returned, he would be able to treat her eyes.
When Janice woke up, it was already the second day. Amelia was surprised and heaved a sigh of relief.
“You’re finally awake. Don’t you know that you almost scared me to death?”
When Janice opened his eyes, she saw that she had already returned home. She immediately threw herself into Amelia’s embrace, thinking of how she and her brother had narrowly escaped death.
Her voice choked with sobs. “Mom, I thought I would never see you again in this life.” After saying this, Janice started bawling loudly.
Hearing Janice’s cries, Amelia patted her back in heartache and comforted her. “It’s okay. It’s okay. Mom is here.”
“Mom, where’s Larry?” Janice asked.
“Your brother is fine. He’s recuperating,” Amelia replied gently.
“Oh…” Upon hearing his mother say that his brother was fine, Janice responded faintly and did not say anything else.
Just then, Tidas pushed open the door and entered.
Seeing that Janice had already woken up, he asked, “How is it? Are you alright?”
“Father…”
It was rare to hear his father care about her, so Janice’s heart welled up with bitterness.
“Alright, from the looks of it, you’re already fine. You’ll be fine after recuperating for a period of time. You have to be more careful when you go out in the future.”
Seeing that Tidas was so cold toward the two children that she had given birth to, Amelia was extremely displeased.
In the past, when Kathleen had not returned, Tidas’s attitude towards these two children was just so-so.
Ever since Kathleen had found her way back four years ago, these two children had been completely transparent in front of Tidas.
Originally, she still had a little bit of status in Tidas’s heart. However, it seemed that her status had disappeared.
She hated him to the core.
Amelia secretly swore in her heart that when the Yates family fell into her son’s hands in the future, the first person who would have to be cut open would definitely be Tidas!
It was all because of Kathleen that her status was threatened.
Even if she was ‘dead’, it did not make Tidas care about these two children a little more.
Amelia was extremely angry, and the hatred in her heart towards Tidas grew even stronger.
Thinking about how she had followed Tidas for more than twenty years, he was selfish and only had interests in his heart. Even if Kathleen ‘died’, she would not feel any pain in his heart.
Even though she was too dissatisfied with Tidas, she did not dare to show it.
She let go of Janice and walked to his side. She asked tentatively, “Tidas, have you found out who did it?”
Tidas shook his head. “Not yet.” He did not investigate at all.
“Father, actually, I know…”
Amelia was afraid that Janice would say something wrong, so she turned her head and glared at her, signaling for her to shut up.
Hearing this, Tidas turned to look at Janice and asked in a low voice, “What is it?”
“Nothing.” Janice broke out in a sweat. She had almost said something she should not have.
Fortunately, his mother stopped him in time.
“That’s good. Take good care of yourself.” Just as Tidas finished speaking, his subordinate’s voice came from outside the door. “Young Master!”
Tidas only glanced at Janice and said, “Ask your mother to cook some tonic for you.”
Then, he left.
After Tidas left, Amelia sighed. “Janice, your father is a smart man. Think before you speak. Otherwise, it would be a disaster.”
“I understand.” Janice nodded, his eyes filled with coldness.
Kathleen, just you wait. I will settle this debt with you sooner or later!.
