Chapter 1948: That poor version of me
The colorful spear tip was, in truth, the tip of his Immortal Beheading Flag!
1
However, he could remember stabbing the flag toward the young man surnamed Song, so how did it end up in his own stomach?
“Are you surprised?” Song Shuhang said. “Hehe, I won’t be explaining what happened to you, though.”
1
I’ll just let you waste your brain cells trying to figure out what happened!
And more importantly… Song Shuhang, himself, did not know the principles behind that move of the Indestructible Lord.
1
The Immortal with arms covered in eyes firmly gripped the battle flag and pulled it out. With that, the spear tip that had pierced into his abdomen was removed. Now, the Immortal Beheading Flag was tainted with the blood of an Immortal, and it was his own blood.
The Immortal yelled, “Karma— Ah!”
Before he could finish, another spear had pierced through his stomach.
1
It was a colorful spear tip once again, and the tip of the spear was dyed with Immortal blood. It was a very familiar scene.
Agonizing pain that even an Immortal would be unable to endure was transmitted from his abdomen to his soul.
…
He could sense that this spear had been specially made to target him. The energy on the spear countered and suppressed the origin energy of a monster hunter inside his body.
1
When the spear entered his body, he felt his entire body go weak. The feeling of weakness that reached all the way to his bones made it difficult for him to even lift a finger.
Behind him, Pavilion Master Chu Two was holding a spear with a calm expression on her face. She had thrust the spear with both of her hands, calmly piercing the waist of the Immortal.
1
The Crystal-Clear Water Pavilion was her domain, and she could do a lot of incredible things in this place… Such as concealing her aura completely.
2
This was especially so with Song Shuhang present and attracting the attention of the Immortal. With him attracting all the attention, she only needed to leave a projection in the distance, and then step by step move to the side of the Immortal and thrust the spear.
1
Pavilion Master Chu Two said slowly, “This is a move that I’ve played millions of times in my mind.”
1
During the long period since their last encounter, she had repeatedly thought of what she would do if she were to meet the monster hunter that had destroyed the Crystal-Clear Water Pavilion again.
She had collected information about this monster hunter through every possible method, so she knew that he had become an Immortal and was one of the founders of the Ancient Heavenly City. She then went to collect a large number of his battle records. Whether it was his duels in the Heavenly City or his numerous battles with experts all over the universe, she collected them all, though most of them had come from Slow-Witted Song.
1
Anyway, both Pavilion Master Chu and Pavilion Master Chu Two had a database on this monster hunter. After repeated simulations, they had come up with nearly 10,000 ways to deal with this monster hunter while in the domain of the Crystal-Clear Water Pavilion.
1
Pavilion Master Chu Two said calmly, “It’s a pity this isn’t your main body.”
2
In the Crystal-Clear Water Pavilion below, a metal column rose to form a giant tree. Behind the metal tree, there was a projection of the Thriving and Withering Trees, which then attached themselves to the giant metal tree, forming a powerful seal.
The giant metal tree rose up and swallowed the Immortal monster hunter.
Killing an Immortal-level powerhouse was never easy, even if it was just a clone. As such, Pavilion Master Chu Two’s plan was to seal the Immortal monster hunter and grind him to death slowly.
1
[She played that single move millions of times in her mind… A woman’s drive to seek revenge is truly terrifying.] The monster hunter tried to restore his energy, but his origin energy seemed to have been completely sealed.
Still, you’re too naive if you think I can be dealt with so easily…
He was an Immortal, and even a clone of his would not be dealt with so easily.
You have paid too much attention to my identity as a monster hunter… While I have lost the origin energy of a monster hunter, I can use other forms of energy just fine, the monster hunter said in his mind.
1
In addition to the origin energy of a monster hunter, there was another form of energy hidden in his body. This energy was energy that he was born with. He, himself, did not know where this energy had come from, but it was undoubtedly a terrifying and powerful form of energy.
2
Moreover, even though this was a clone, he could still summon this energy.
As the giant metal tree reached his body, it tried to swallow him.
After switching up his origin energy, the Immortal monster hunter began to struggle. His body slowly squirmed its way out of the seal of the giant metal tree, like an evil ghost crawling its way out of hell.
At the same time, all of the eyes that covered his body shot beams of light unceasingly, preventing Song Shuhang and Pavilion Master Chu Two from approaching and giving him some time to break free from the seal of the giant metal tree.
While he was crawling out of the seal, his right hand grabbed at the spear that had pierced him through the back and tried pulling it out as he wanted to unseal his origin monster hunter energy.
Song Shuhang summoned the Giant King’s Robe again and said, “I’ll block these beams. Senior Chu, you can go and stab him again.”
“Don’t worry, this is the Crystal-Clear Water Pavilion,” Pavilion Master Chu Two said confidently.
“It’s too late! Hahaha.” The monster hunter struggled with all his might, and most of his body had already emerged from the metal tree.
Just as his body was about to break out of the metal tree, Song Shuhang appeared before his eyes.
5
It was a version of Song Shuhang made of steel. It had appeared out of nowhere, dodging all of the light beams that had filled the sky.
This steel manifestation of Song Shuhang seemed to be in a different dimension; the beams of light simply passed through his body, as if it wasn’t even there.
The steel Song Shuhang said, “Have a good rest.”
He then brought out a short blade and stabbed it right into the forehead of the monster hunter.
1
The monster hunter roared, “Tyrannical… Song…!!!”
He raised his hand to stop the other party, but the steel Song Shuhang’s arm passed right through his defenses, inserting the short blade right into his forehead.
1
This short blade had the same effect as the spear that Pavilion Master Chu Two had used; it seemed to have been specially made for this monster hunter. The spear sealed his monster hunter origin energy, while the short blade sealed his hidden reserve of origin energy.
The monster hunter roared, “Impossible! How and why do you know about my hidden reserve of origin energy?”
1
No, this isn’t a Tyrannical Song…
The monster hunter howled, “Who are you?!”
The steel Song Shuhang placed his finger against his lips. “Shh~”
Afterward, he raised his foot, stepped on the face of the monster hunter, and sent him back into the seal of the giant metal tree.
“You who’s surnamed… Song…” The monster hunter’s voice trailed off mid-sentence, becoming softer and softer until it could no longer be heard. During this time, his body had been swallowed back into the metal tree, getting sealed for good.
As for the steel Song Shuhang, when the light beams disappeared, so did he. There was not a single trace of evidence that he had even been there.
He had appeared out of nowhere, disappearing in the same manner.
❄️❄️❄️
1
“The seal worked?” Song Shuhang looked puzzled.
“Mm-hm.” Pavilion Master Chu Two nodded after confirming that the Immortal monster hunter had been sealed in the giant metal tree. Then, she asked, “By the way… that steel version of you just now, was that your clone?”
“The steel version of me?” Song Shuhang immediately remembered his poor steel manifestation.
