Beauty and the Beasts - Chapter 230
Chapter 230: Parker Was Humiliated
Parker left for close to an hour and then came back with four live short-winged birds, his face as black as the bottom of a pot.
When Bai Qingqing saw that Parker had returned safely, she heaved a sigh of relief. “You’re finally back. I was just about to get Winston to bring me there to take a look. They compensated for it just like that?”
“There’s the scent of the young wolves on the dead birds, so they can’t push the blame.” Parker picked up the stone blade and quickly chopped off the short-winged birds’ wings brutally. The short-winged birds cried out extremely agonizingly, and the tips of their wings bled a lot.
Bai Qingqing looked at Parker’s countenance and asked carefully, “What did they say?”
Parker’s lips twitched coldly, his eyes gleaming with killing intent.
“Although it’s the cold season now and prey are hard to hunt, but you guys aren’t able to find this little bit of food?” Rosa chuckled away with a sharp voice that was even more piercing than the cold wind scraping away at the ice. She said to her mates, “Go catch a few short-winged birds for him. We’ll compensate them with eight. It’s too pitiful that they can’t even afford to eat this little bit of meat.”
Parker was so angry that his claws itched. It had been an agonizing wait at the tiger castle’s entrance. And when Rosa’s mates caught eight short-winged birds, he only took four and came back angrily.
Not wanting Bai Qingqing to feel such humiliation, Parker didn’t tell her about it. He picked up the bleeding short-winged birds and got up. “I’ll go tie them up in the bird’s shelter.”
“The short-winged birds that are just captured won’t lay eggs and only want to think of escaping. We’ll have to rear them from scratch.” Bai Qingqing still felt aggrieved and wondered if they should do something to retaliate.
Why not set up some traps in the bird’s shelter and scare those children?
Parker tied up the short-winged birds, then rubbed his hands together with some snow by the house. He walked back and said, “It’s very late. Qingqing, let’s go back and sleep.”
“En, en.” Bai Qingqing nodded and took a look at Winston. “Winston, you should have an early rest too. Good night.”
“Good night,” Winston said expressionlessly. Only after seeing Bai Qingqing entering the bedroom did a smile slowly broke out on his face.
Parker’s mood turned for the better to be able to hug his beloved female to sleep in the same nest. His hand reached out to take off Bai Qingqing’s tube top.
Bai Qingqing’s body stiffened, and her heart pounded very quickly. She asked in a soft voice, “Didn’t we just do it?”
“I really like to mate with you. Let’s do it again.” Saying that Parker took off Bai Qingqing’s clothes. He felt that this felt really good and immediately reached out to take off Bai Qingqing’s pants.
Bai Qingqing pushed him a few times gently, feeling nervous. However, she couldn’t deny that she did enjoy doing the deed with Parker and was craving a little for it as well. Therefore, under Parker’s fervent initiative, Bai Qingqing, who didn’t have much willpower, was quickly defeated and allowed him to do as he wished.
Winston licked his paws and got up in a good mood. He walked up to the door and squatted down.
The next day, Bai Qingqing started to design traps.
This was the coldest period of the year, and even if one were to spit saliva on the ground, the saliva would turn into ice. Even the ground was frozen stiff.
Bai Qingqing put on many layers of animal skin, followed by the biggest bear hide. It was so thick that she looked like a bear herself.
Thanks to Parker, her waist and back were all feeling sore, and even her legs felt weak when she walked. She supported herself against the walls as she entered the bird’s shelter.
“Those children wouldn’t be running about when it’s so cold outside, right?” Bai Qingqing assessed the bird’s shelter as she mumbled. “Forget it. It’s still better to put up some protective measures.”
“Qingqing, it’s not worth spending so much effort on them. We’ll just bite them up if we catch them next time.”
“Who knows when they’ll be coming next. It’s tiring to be on our guards against them every day.”
