“What do you want?”
“Hand Luna over to me. If you can do that, we can discuss everything. If not, then there’s no point in talking.”
Andy had brought more than twenty men with him. Feeling that he held the upper hand, he didn’t take Luo Feng seriously.
Hearing this demand, Luo Feng didn’t immediately respond. Instead, he turned to look at Luna, who stood behind him.
“It seems that resolving this peacefully isn’t an option today,” he said.
After Luo Feng spoke, Luna nodded in agreement. “I never believed he would sit down and talk with us. He called you here today because he’s relying on his numerical advantage, intending to teach you a lesson.”
“Do you really think I can be so easily dealt with?” Luo Feng asked with a smile.
Luna shook her head seriously. “Of course not. I know how formidable you are. No one can take you down if you don’t want them to. Anyone who tries will end up being taken down by you.”
Their exchange left Andy visibly irritated. “Hey, remember where you are. This is my turf. You’re too dismissive of me.”
Andy realized that negotiations were off the table. Besides, he had never intended to settle things peacefully with Luo Feng.
“Let’s get on with it. It seems blood will have to be spilled today.”
At Andy’s command, the twenty-odd bodyguards charged forward. Their rush was imposing. Luna, usually so confident, couldn’t help but feel apprehensive at the sight. Luo Feng, sensing her fear, handed her his pistol.
“Shoot anyone who comes within five meters of you.”
After giving Luna the gun, she looked even more worriedly at Luo Feng. “What about you? There are so many of them. Won’t it be even harder for you without a gun?”
“Don’t worry,” he assured her. “If it’s just these twenty-odd people, I don’t need a gun.”
With that, Luo Feng charged straight into the fray. He struck the nearest man in the chest, sending him sprawling backward, and then used him as a projectile, taking down five or six others.
Seizing the opportunity, Luo Feng carved a path straight towards Andy. The bodyguards, skilled fighters in their own right, were like children before Luo Feng, none of them lasting more than two moves against him.
Soon, Luo Feng stood before a stunned Andy. The latter had never seen anything like it. Anyone who had dared to oppose him in the past had been swiftly dealt with by his men. Yet here Luo Feng was, having single-handedly defeated over twenty of his best fighters.
“Y-You… Are you some sort of monster?” Andy stammered.
He tried to flee, but Luo Feng was too close. As Andy reached for his own pistol, Luo Feng kicked it out of his grasp.
“Do you honestly think resisting will make a difference now?” Luo Feng sneered, gripping Andy’s throat. Andy struggled for breath, unable to speak, Imowing he was done for.
Even though most of the bodyguards had recovered by now, they hesitated to approach.
“Can we have a proper discussion now?” Luo Feng asked, not loosening his grip.
Gasping for breath, Andy managed to utter, “Yes, we can.”
Luo Feng threw him to the ground and sat down on a chair across from him. “We’re here to do business. We don’t need an audience. Tell your men to leave.”
Andy, still catching his breath, shot a fearful glance at Luo Feng and signaled for his men to leave. But as he did so, he discreetly made another hand signal, a secret code within their ranks.
The message was simple: Get the boss.
Andy knew he was no match for Luo Feng. But if their gang leader got involved, the situation might change..
