Chapter 24: The Real Her
Atticus’ POV:
I tried to stay calm, but Lisa was too close to me. This made my wolf feel uncomfortable.
She opened her eyes and grabbed my sleeve, looking very aggrieved.
“Do you feel better?” I tried not to sit too far away.
But the truth was, I didn’t want her to be here. She came here alone without informing me.
She appeared next to me when I was dealing with work and fell. My subordinates sent her to the hospital, and I rushed here as fast as I could after I finished dealing with my affairs.
If I had known that would happen, I would have rather kept her by my side. That way, at least she could use my personal medical resources and not appear in front of everyone in this way.
She was going to bring me a lot of trouble. I could already feel it. Almost everyone here thought we were a couple.
“I’m a little better.” She looked at me and smiled apologetically. She seemed to be in a difficult position.
“What else did they say?” I had a bad feeling about this.
“The doctor said that I’m still a little malnourished. Perhaps it’s because of the nutritional supplements I used before… ” She sighed.
She should be like this because it was her sister’s blood. And Eloise looked like she had been severely injured.
“Atticus, I know those supplements may be expensive and hard to find, but please tell me what they are. I won’t trouble you anymore. I’ll find them myself.
As she spoke, she grabbed my hand even more agitatedly. Her expression was so sincere that I couldn’t bear to continue speculating about her with my previous bad thoughts.
“I …” I was almost ready to give in to her.
However, a flash of light not far away caught my attention.
Those were the flashes from the paparazzi. They were in a hospital ward, and I didn’t know why they were in the hospital. After I noticed them, they quickly dodged.
This had to be dealt with. I quickly picked up my phone and contacted my subordinates nearby to stop the paparazzi. At the same time, I also looked at the notifications.
Some of Lisa’s actions had misled them, which was very bad.
No matter what, these photos could not be leaked out. After all, we were still in human territory. It would not be a good thing if there were any news. It could very likely bring about a bad impact.

She didn’t look happy and didn’t expect me to say that.
“I just didn’t want to put you in a difficult position. I wanted to come here to take a look. I know my sister is here… ‘
She carefully observed my expression.
“I wanted to confirm if she was doing well. I didn’t think it would affect you.’
“I have nothing to do with her,” I said coldly. The only connection between Eloise and me now was the mate connection, but I would cut it off.

Although she still looked innocent, I could read a completely different meaning from her eyes.
Her father was considered my pack’s elder, so I couldn’t ignore his opinion. In his heart, Lisa should marry me.
Was she trying to threaten me? But looking at her expression, I couldn’t connect her to that image of her at all.
