Atticus’ POV:

“You mean you want me to consider remarrying right now?” I tried to be patient and calmly looked at the camera before me.

“Yes. After all, the Luna is indispensable in this pack. You should know how much she can help you.” The elder on the other end of the video call had a solemn expression.

The news of Eloise’s departure from the pack had already reached the elders, so they had specially organized this meeting. To a pack, very few incidents were more serious than this.

But Eloise’s face appeared in my mind. I would never forget how weak she was. It was as if any decision he had made now would affect her.
