Atticus’ POV:

“You’re finally awake.” Jude looked at me worriedly.

“You drank too much yesterday.”

I rubbed my head. It hurt so much that I had completely forgotten what happened yesterday.

“I didn’t expect Eloise’s incident would hurt you so much.” His expression was very complicated.

“This must be terrible.” I didn’t even know what I did after I drank too much.

“No, you’ve always been a good drinker, so you were just lying here quietly.” He stood up. Immediately after, he turned his head as if he had suddenly thought of something.

“By the way, you didn’t change your clothes.”

Usually, if my clothes hadn’t been washed, I would throw that into the trash can.

There was no news worse than this.

“Alright, I hope someone can look into this matter. The situation Eloise described is different from what they said.” I hit my hurting head, got up, and turned on the computer.

I had to pay attention to the news to make the right decision. But the scene in front of me made me wonder if something was wrong with my eyes.

Eloise appeared on the cover of the website’s video. Before this, I didn’t know if she had any skills that could place her in this position.

My phone suddenly rang. It was a video call from Eloise. This time, she looked more energetic than before. She was not as fragile as before, as if she could leave the world anytime.

“So, can I talk to your lawyer now?” She was very straightforward.
