Chapter 130: I Must Leave

Eloise’s POV:

I knew very well how long I’d been in this house.

When Lisa appeared in front of me, I wasn’t asleep. However, I didn’t know what to say to her. But she only stayed for a few minutes before leaving.

With our current relationship, it was not suitable for us to communicate more. This was enough.

In my memory, I truly treated her as a friend and a sister. But I didn’t know when it started, but she had been distant from me.

However, I only realized this very late. When she thought about this, Atticus had already started to like her.

After eating, I held the plastic bowl and thought about what to do next. There was a pattern to their visit, so I just had to wait for the right time.

I took a deep breath, broke the window, and rushed out.

I rolled on the ground and fell on the balcony.

This was what I’d calculated. It was safer to fall here. However, if I fell straight down, I would transform into my wolf form. Even though that was my last resort, it was my only way out.

I heard a scream. It was the voice of one of Lisa’s servants. But I could care less about her now. The glass pierced my foot, and it was excruciating, but I didn’t care about it.

I didn’t know exactly where I was, but I knew that if I didn’t lose my way and run in one direction, I would eventually see someone. By then, I’d be able to recuperate.

I jumped down the steps and desperately rushed forward. I couldn’t stop because those people would run up and take me away once I started to hesitate.

At that time, perhaps they wouldn’t need me to be alive.

A few Escalades stopped in front of me. Some strange tall and strong men came down from the top. However, this was still the interior of the manor.

Could it be Lisa’s people? Many possibilities appeared in my mind.

“Eloise?” Aman got out of the car.

I looked at him in surprise.

The person standing in front of me was Atticus.

Was I finally hallucinating? The doctor said it was typical to have hallucinations at my stage. I hadn’t used any medicine for a long time, so I couldn’t distinguish it.

But I was indeed caught by a warm hand. I wasn’t sure if I was hallucinating, but at least someone was asking me if I was okay.

If this was an illusion before death, I thought it was not bad.

Why was he here? Could it be for Lisa? I don’t believe that he would appear here for me.

I didn’t fall to the ground as expected, but I fell into warm fur..
