Chapter 111: An Unexpected Visitor

Eloise’s POV:

I sighed and looked up at the sky. The sun had been up for a long time, so it was almost impossible for vampires to be here. After what happened just now, no one would stop me from staying here. They knew that I must have my uniqueness even if I wasn’t a vampire hunter.

I lowered my head and continued to watch the video.

It was rare for this place to have a surveillance camera, so they retrieved the most recent recording.

This wasn’t considered a serious problem, but I could see some clues now. I believed that it was not just me, the other inspectors had also noticed it, or they wouldn’t have asked for it to be played in slow motion.

The weather in the video did not match the current weather.

When the werewolves or vampires came here, it was not a cloudy day but daytime. They had manipulated the time.

It was a black figure who walked past my window. I chased after him, but I didn’t find him. There was nothing in my house. Even if he wanted to come here to find something, he wouldn’t be able to find anything.

I could only sigh. That person must have something to do with this, and he might even be one of the masterminds behind this incident. However, he was too cunning and more familiar with this place than I was. I could only let him escape.

A figure hurriedly walked past me. I couldn’t help but call out to him. He looked at me without any surprise, but his face was full of guilt.

‘Yes, I have other things to do now, so I can’t help you. You can stay here for the time being.” Soren sighed. Looking at the dark circles under his eyes, I couldn’t say anything.

” I have to go to the airport…” he muttered softly.

I looked at him and sighed. To be honest, it was mainly to protect me. Those people were really dangerous, and now that I was restricted to this area, I couldn’t do anything.

I looked at the TV in the living room.

I knew what the plane was at that time. It was the plane that came from Atticus’ pack. This meant that Atticus was probably here as well.
