A Sorcerer's Journey - Chapter 201
Chapter 201: The Reversed Energy Supply Digestive System
The layers of the surrounding space kept evolving, and Grimm was able to sense the magnification of his surroundings using his Ultrasound Positioning Sorcery.
This feeling…
If this were to be explained based on the sorcerers’ knowledge about Space, the space pressure applied by the Enigmatic Seal was similar to the three-dimensional system calculated against the fluctuating layers of space. The knowledge about space would be much deeper than what Grimm had learned from the Coordinates Calculation.
The pressure from the layers of twisted space forcefully pressed onto Grimm, as if he was being molded by an enormous force to become smaller in size. Although the total elemental energy did not change, his physical body had shrunk in the view of the three-dimensional world.
Grimm was unable to control his own body’s movement, he was transformed into a small dot and had flown towards the mouth of the Enigmatic Amonro.
‘So this is how it feels before being sealed?’
Grimm sensed that he was being covered completely by the Amonro’s mouth, as if the entire world was being devoured by it.
The sorcery had isolated him from the outside world and all of the sources of energy, limited to a predetermined space formed by the one who had cast this sorcery. It seemed like the seal would forbid its victim from accessing the source of energy from the material world.
‘If this is how it worked, there would not be much worth studying, since there is a vast amount of seal sorceries from the sorcery system…
‘Ehh?
‘No!’
Suddenly, Grimm realized the ignorant and self-fulfilling assumption that he had towards the seal and he stopped making any effort in trying to escape from it.
This was because when Grimm was about to enter into the mouth of the Enigmatic Amonro, he noticed odd energy that defied the law of space; it came from the structure of the Enigmatic Seal.
This seemed to have a sense of familiarity, where every Enigmatic Amonro that had used the seal would trigger the same situation. He was unsure of what this feeling was, however he was clear that he did not pick up any firm, delicate nor inclusive feeling that he usually had when he encountered the standalone consciousness of any great lifeforms, just like his past experience with the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings.
Would it be possible that the origin of the Enigmatic Law was from a single great lifeform?
All of a sudden, Grimm had a lot of these ridiculous thoughts that bothered him.
As far as Grimm knew, even for Stigmata Sorcerers, they would only leverage on the energy base of the Sorcerer Tower to tweak on other different laws, and all of it would be done under absolute control of the force of nature. Hence, only the Grand Celestial Sorcerer or lifeforms above Level 7 would be capable of altering or creating new laws that suited their own needs.
‘Do lifeforms above Level 7 really exist?’
‘No, it must be impossible.’
If there was the presence of such a great lifeform, the Destiny Lever would not even be able to open up the Spacetime Aperture that connected the Sorcerer World and the Shadow World.
Grimm was certain about his senses.
At this moment, Grimm understood that he would be sealed eternally if he entered into the consciousness of the Enigmatic Seal that seemed to be like an endless ocean. His ability of Spacetime Coordinated Access would also be useless in such a situation, he could only hope for lifeforms of higher levels to enter and destroy the unknown part of the world that was sealed.
Grimm immediately felt lucky that he had entered into the Enigmatic Seal system of this Enigmatic Amonro.
Swish! Grimm disappeared.
Grimm was not able to sense the boundaries of the world, but only blurry grey-colored Enigmatic Energy in the surroundings. Soon, he realized that this was the Endless World that victims of a seal would encounter when a seal was successful.
Hence, the consciousness of the victim would only be lost within the boundaries of this Endless World.
In general, victims of the seal would not be able to move away from the original position no matter from which direction, what speed, nor how much time the victim used, it would all be in vain once the victim looked back. If the victim did not look back at all, the spacetime of the Endless World would consistently go round and round endlessly.
In such cases, the victim would be trapped forever in the seal, and…
‘Ehh?’
Grimm hesitated again while he looked around and paid attention to every detail and tried to sense everything he could. The Enigmatic Energy around him was constantly revolving.
Every breath that he had taken, every thought that he had and every energy consumption from the attempt that he had made to exchange energy with the outer world would be absorbed by the endless Enigmatic Energy around him, and be converted into another source of unknown energy using another method of conversion.
Grimm was in deep thought for a few moments before he cried out, “This… could this be the Reversed Energy Supply Digestive System? Only Stigmata Sorcerers of Level 4 and above would be exposed to such evolutionary knowledge on Activated Lifeforms!”
The Reversed Energy Supply Digestive System was the changes that took place on the fundamental attributes of a Level 4 Stigmata Sorcerer when their abilities had surpassed Level 3 Lifeforms. However, for Chimeras, and Elemental Activated Lifeforms, they could reach its highest level, which was of a Level 4 Lifeform, without activating their true form.
This system could provide the Chimeras and the Elemental Activated Lifeforms with unlimited growth potential.
Although the system took place in different forms, however, all of it originated from the creation of a sorcerer confining their own wisdom. In reference to the Soul Eating attributes of Grimm’s Greedy Flame Giant, it would definitely be one example of a Reversed Energy Supply Digestive System.
In such a case, Grimm was able to save a lot of time required to repeatedly form the structure of mental strength; he would allow the Greedy Flame Giant to develop according to its own path.
Grimm was pleasantly surprised by his discovery.
It was unexpected that such an inferior seal energy from the Enigmatic Amonro would possess such an ability to evolve and supply itself apart from passive evolution. The historical background of it might also involve secrets that were still unknown.
The transformation of these lifeforms would be unimaginable by the Sorcerers Civilization in the future if this lifeform continued using their seals on other greater lifeforms from other worlds.
At that moment, Grimm knew that he had obtained one of the most fruitful rewards that he could possibly get from his journey in the Shadow World.
Then, Grimm smiled under his Mask of Truth, and raised his head. As soon as he communicated with the Myna, the surrounding space distorted.

After the Enigmatic Amonro had devoured Grimm, it gave a cold stare at the other four Demon-Hunters as its body slowly dissolved into pale shadows and then disappeared completely.
“Hmm, it is normal for an unfortunate newcomer.” One of the Demon-Hunters spoke under his dark-colored sorcerer’s robe, while holding onto a pair of golden claws that looked ruthless.
The other Dark Sorcerers seemed to agree with what was said and did not say anything further. It was not a big deal to have deaths during the expedition of the Demon-Hunters, as they had withstood the cruel trials that Dark Sorcerers were required to face as soon as they entered the Sorcerers Academy.
However, the Dark Sorcerers would not fear such a hideous Enigmatic Seal when they were in pairs. They would only need to kill every low-ranked Amonros that came their way one by one.
All of the four Dark Sorcerers did not show any empathy towards the ‘death’ of Grimm, as they thought of him as just another short-lived Dark Sorcerer. They continued their killing of the surrounding low-ranked Amonros while waiting for the hidden Enigmatic Amonro to make its mistake.
Oik…
All of a sudden, there were howls of grief that caught the attention of all the Dark Sorcerers and low-ranked Amonros, the howl came from a pale shadow that seemed to be suffering in pain.
An Enigmatic Amonro with white skin color rose and formed from the shadow; it struggled and cried out in pain with stains of blood at the edge of its mouth. Its stomach was bloated, wiggling as though there was something moving from within, it seemed like it was about to give birth to something foreboding.
Rip!
A glowing magic staff struck and pierced through the stomach of the Enigmatic Amonro that was barely breathing.
Boom!
Then, the pitiful Enigmatic Amonro exploded like an air balloon, while unidentified torn body pieces blasted everywhere, the air was filled with a mist of blood. A sorcerer appeared, donning a gray mask while holding onto a magic staff. The sorcerer gave a look of satisfaction while he descended again into the material world, and called out, “Now! Quickly settle all of these low-level lifeforms and seek for the underground lava lake!”
All four of the senior Demon Hunters held their breath as they could not believe what they had just seen!
How could this sorcerer have the ability to break the Enigmatic Seal?
If such sorcery knowledge could be traded for their own use, it would be useful against the Enigmatic Amonro as they could stay safe in the Shadow World.
First, faking entrapment by the Enigmatic Seal, then… Boom!
