Chapter 207 Flirt with Her

After they walked out of the Leisure House, Qu Xiaocang was nowhere to be seen, and only Duan Canghai was waiting outside. Ximen Zhanying had a saber with her. She glanced at Duan Canghai and said coldly, “You have a guard to protect you, so you don’t need me to escort you.”

“Zhanying, it’s Divine Marquis’s kindness. If I refuse him, I will show disrespect for him, and he will probably be unhappy.” Qi Ning sighed. “In fact, I don’t want you to escort me. How about I come back in and tell him that you have jobs to do and don’t want to send me home?”

“Zhanying, don’t be anxious.” Qi Ning was happier as he saw that she was anxious. He said unhurriedly, “I have just finished lunch. If I walk too fast, it will probably harm my health. I will stroll and it will help me digest. It’s my habit.”

“You…” Ximen Zhanying was angry and hurried. If she didn’t consider Divine Marquis’s dignity, she would leave Qi Ning alone and go away.

Qi Ning said, “Don’t talk about beating or killing randomly. I am the Marquis of Honor. Can you beat me at will? If Divine Marquis knows that, you will be in trouble.”

“Whether there is somebody who will marry me has nothing to do with you.” Ximen Zhanying tried her best to restrain her urge to kill Qi Ning. “Will you go?”

Duan Canghai looked at them more than ten steps away. Seeing that Ximen Zhanying grabbed the saber, he walked two steps forward but soon stopped as he knew that she didn’t dare to hurt Qi Ning.

Qi Ning smiled bitterly and shook his head, still keeping his speed to walk forward.

Ximen Zhanying couldn’t stand it anymore. She said, “Go away on your own. I will leave you alone.” She turned around and twisted her hip, preparing to leave Qi Ning, while he looked back and said, “Duan Canghai, go and tell Divine Marquis that Zhanying has to do her jobs, so she leaves me alone on the way. I don’t blame her.”

Ximen Zhanying stopped and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath, trying hard to calm down.
