A Clash of Gods - Chapter 132
Chapter 132 A Dirty Trick
Seeing that Jingkong’s robe plumped, Yang Ning knew that this old monk’s genuine qi was powerful and his martial skills must be extraordinary.
Chi Danmei smiled charmingly and twisted her body, flying to Jingkong like a cloud. She was like a flame sweeping to him and flew up like a butterfly.
She showed both palms and her fingers were slender, but her nails were long with red juice, which was eye-catching.
Jingkong saw Chi Danmei’s approaching palms and leaned to one side to dodge. Then he pushed out both hands unhurriedly, and his moves were ordinary, yet the strength hidden in them was quite powerful.
Chi Danmei’s body was soft and light like a willow. When Jingkong tried to pound her with both palms, she didn’t dodge but turned her palms into claws, preparing to hook his wrist.
Jingkong waved his intersecting arms in front of him and strong wind blew over. Chi Danmei just felt that a barrier was formed seemingly and was hard to cross in front of her, so she didn’t dare to approach him. Later she moved swiftly and walked around to get close to him in a flash. Then she reached out her claws, trying to grab his shoulder.
In the fight of the arrays earlier, Yang Ning didn’t see clearly how they fought. This time when the two martial arts masters competed, he saw clearly that they didn’t plan to move fast.
He didn’t know how powerful Chi Danmei was, but seeing that Jingkong looked calm and still steady even when he started his movements, so he thought that Jingkong had a greater chance of winning.
The Temple of Great Light had a deserved reputation, and the monks from the Bright Building had proven it. He knew that since Jingkong offered to fight, he was certainly more powerful than Jingneng.
This monk was old and had white hair and beard. However, because of this, he must be powerful in martial arts.
The owner of the Baiyun Island must be a big shot, and his disciples dared to come here to challenge, so they should not be ordinary people. However, Chi Danmei was still young. Even if she was good at martial arts, Yang Ning thought that her cultivation base was not enough to put on a par with Jingkong’s.
Although Yang Ning’s martial skills were not good, he understood that the boxing skills couldn’t be promoted quickly. No matter which sect they were in, they needed to build the foundation of the boxing skill step by step and practice steadily. They could make progress only when they made it gradually. Especially the monks in the Temple of Great Light sat in meditation and practiced martial skills, so they attached more importance to cultivating themselves and accumulating.
Maybe Chi Danmei’s movements were gaudier, but her foundation of martial arts was inferior to Jingkong’s.
At the moment, the fight between the two seemed to prove this point. Jingkong’s robe rolled, and the lower part of his body seemed to take root on the ground. He moved his palms endlessly, and Chi Danmei moved swiftly, like a butterfly circling him. Every time she started a movement, she would be resisted by him easily. Even the people who didn’t know martial arts could see that Jingkong gained the upper hand.
Jingneng sat with his legs crossed on the cattail hassock and stared at them even without a blink. He looked terrible earlier yet his face softened a lot now and he even looked joyful in his brows.
Suddenly he saw that Chi Danmei moved more quickly gradually. In the beginning, Yang Ning could see her figure, but soon he could only see that she was burning like a flame, while Jingkong was surrounded by this flame.
Yang Ning felt disappointed.
He had wanted to enjoy it, but who knew that such great masters could move quickly as they liked? Once they became quicker, he couldn’t see anything.
He had to admit that even if Chi Danmei was not as powerful in martial arts as Jingkong, her speed of action and ingenious movements were outstanding.
Unexpectedly, Bai Yuhe seemed not to care if Chi Danmei would lose or not, and he still closed his eyes.
Seeing that he remained unmoved, Yang Ning thought that this guy was really patient, but it appeared that Jingkong was likely to win this round. As long as Chi Danmei was defeated, the Temple of Great Light would win two rounds, and then the third round would be pointless, so the Temple of Great Light wouldn’t send anybody to compete on swordsmanship.
Although Bai Yuhe made a pose for a long time and wanted to compete on swordsmanship, perhaps he couldn’t fulfill his wish this time.
When Yang Ning was pondering, he suddenly heard a sweet groan and then looked at them at once, to see that the fiery shadow had flown away and fallen on the floor. Some of the monks aside screamed involuntarily and more people cheered.
Yang Ning wondered if the victory had been decided so soon.
He saw that Jingkong put his palms together and remained unmoved, while Chi Danmei lay on the floor with an alluring posture. He thought that she was defeated by Jingkong, but this competition was finished too soon. Chi Danmei was the island owner’s disciple anyway. He had thought that even if she would lose, they would fight for a long time at least, yet she was defeated so soon unexpectedly.
Jingneng stood up and shouted, “We won two of three rounds. The Temple of Great Light…”
Before he finished his words, Chi Danmei giggled in a sweet voice. She lay on the floor and didn’t seem to be injured. With her charming laughter, her soft body trembled with one hand under her head. She asked, “Master, are you too anxious? Who said that I am defeated?”
Jingneng was stunned, while Chi Danmei twisted her body, trying to get up. Then a buzz was heard, and somebody saw that her dress on her shoulder was torn off and her plump shoulder was shown.
Her skin was like jade and it was tender, as if water would be squeezed out once it was touched. Not only her shoulder but a part of her chest was also shown, which dazzled people.
Many young disciples hurriedly put their palms together, yet they still couldn’t control themselves and their eyes fell on Chi Danmei.
Seeing that, Yang Ning thought this woman’s figure was so nice and hot, and any man would be tempted, yet her dress was torn off all of a sudden, and it was not a coincidence.
Chi Danmei twisted her body and got up, saying ruefully, “My dress was made with great effort, but it was torn like this…” She reached out her hand, trying to pull her dress to cover her shoulder. However, that side had been torn off and couldn’t cover it. The red dress just went down softly.
Jingkong put his palms together. “Chi, you can get changed and then compete with me. I can wait.”
“No need.” Chi Danmei chuckled. “Master, your martial skills are awesome, and I am afraid that I am no match for you and may lose after less than ten movements, so we don’t need to waste time.” Her voice was soft. However, in an instant, she leaned forward like a ghost and came to Jingkong.
Yang Ning laughed in secret and thought that Chi Danmei probably knew that she was not Jingkong’s opponent, so she played such a trick.
People should know that when the great masters fought, sometimes the victory and defeat would be decided in an instant, and they should concentrate all the time. Chi Danmei intentionally tore off half of her dress. Not to mention that the purple bra inside was shown, even when only her shoulder was revealed, she could probably make all men unable to focus attention.
She did that naturally because she wanted to distract Jingkong in this way.
However, Yang Ning thought that the young monks in the temple who were at low stages could hardly resist Chi Danmei’s most direct temptation, but what kind of person was Jingkong? This monk had a deep foundation of Buddhists and was old. How would he be influenced by such a small trick?
Not to mention that it was hard for Chi Danmei to win, even if she won with such a trick, she wouldn’t convince others.
Nevertheless, he thought that the purpose of coming of the disciples from the Baiyun Island was to enter the Purification Building. They had lost the first round, and if they lost this round, with the agreement, in the future, the disciples from the Baiyun Island couldn’t get close to the gate of the Purification Building. Under the situation, it was not surprising that Chi Danmei played dirty tricks.
Suddenly they heard endless bangs and just saw that the four hands of Chi Danmei and Jingkong intertwined. Both parties seemed to want to hook each other’s wrist, yet neither of them succeeded. For a moment, the four palms of the two were interlaced and changing. They have fought for more than ten times in the blink of an eye.
Jingneng was quite confident earlier. Seeing that Chi Danmei’s martial skills were much inferior to Jingkong’s seemingly, he was joyful in secret, but now he suddenly found that Chi Danmei took actions more sharply and her hands changed ingeniously, which was more amazing than before.
Many people in the hall understood the situation and got more astonished while watching.
In the beginning, Chi Danmei fought in a soft way, and her movements changed skillfully but in the way that was expected, while now they changed beyond imagination. Although they just fought with bare hand, she attacked ruthlessly and it seemed that she was another person.
Some people even found that Chi Danmei wanted more than to hook Jingkong’s wrist, and some of her weird movements aimed at his chest and even his throat.
Jingneng clenched his fists and his face turned cold again. The experts watched the key points. Jingkong fought uprightly and each movement would suppress the enemy, while Chi Danmei’s movements became more and more insidious, and every time she started a movement, she tried to hit his vital parts, which was to kill her opponent. The most horrible was that her movements changed beyond imagination, which was what Jingneng had never seen before.
There were a lot of martial arts in the Temple of Great Light. Jingneng had been in the temple for many years and was not as powerful in martial arts as Jingkong, so his foundation was inferior to Jingkong’s. The key was that Jingneng practiced many kinds of martial arts. As one of the thirteen eminent monks, he could practice most martial arts treasured up in this temple. These martial arts which could be kept in the temple were treasures left by the predecessors, and each of them was attracted to the warriors, so Jingneng had practiced more than ten kinds of profound martial arts.
Jingneng was the one who knew best about how complicated a marital skill was among the monks with the word Jing in their names, but as a result, he had learnt too many kinds, and he couldn’t reach the peak for each.
However, at the moment, he noticed that Chi Danmei’s movements were weird and greatly different from the martial arts he knew, and he had never seen them. He was shocked and thought that he had underestimated this woman. The disciples of the owner of the Baiyun Island couldn’t be regarded as unimportant. If he were Chi Danmei’s opponent, he might be killed under this woman’s insidious hands.
