Chapter 102 A Monkey with White Hair
When Zhao Yuan was screaming, the burly man next to him knelt down as his legs softened.

The demon girl chuckled and asked the burly man, “I won’t tell Black Lightning to blind you. What are you afraid of?”

The burly man had cold sweat all over and begged in a trembling voice, “Girl… Girl, please spare me. I… I…” He stuttered and didn’t know what to say.

“He always plays dumb and doesn’t tell me the truth.” The demon girl stood in front of the burly man and asked, “Tell me. Who on earth is he?”

“He… He is the judge…” the burly man answered while trembling as he realized that the demon girl was ruthless. “I… I just follow his orders. Girl, please let me go.”

The demon girl asked, “What does ‘judge’ mean? As long as you listen to me, you won’t necessarily die.”

The burly man replied, “Judge… It’s the judge in the underworld in charge of the accounts of life and death…”

“The accounts of life and death?”

“Yes… It’s that in the underworld, there is a cycle of death and rebirth. The judge will judge the crime and then…the evil ones would be put at the bottom of the hell…” The burly man’s face was pale and he trembled all over. Obviously he was scared out of wits by the demon girl. “We… As long as we follow the judge, we can…live a longer life and won’t be put at the bottom of the hell after we die…”

Yang Ning was astonished and thought this burly man talked nonsense because he was frightened to lose his mind.

Apparently, the demon girl also thought that the burly man was talking rubbish. “If you continue to bullshit, I will tell Black Lightning to blind you now.”

“Girl, I… I don’t dare to lie to you. It’s the truth.” The burly man knelt on the ground and lowered his head. “Judge is here. You… You can ask him.”

The demon girl laughed. “You said as long as you listen to him, you can live a longer life? Why don’t you say that you can live forever and will never die?”

The burly man responded, “If… If I make a great contribution, I can… I can live forever indeed.”

The demon girl giggled and looked at Zhao Yuan, to see that his shoulders were pressed by Big Devil with both hands and he couldn’t move. There was fresh blood in his eyes, which looked frightful.

The demon girl shouted at Zhao Yuan, “He said that as long as he listens to you, he can live forever. You can’t even protect yourself, and how can you make others live forever? You are the judge, and he said that you are in charge of the life and death. Do you have the ability to make me die now?” She walked over and asked with sarcasm, “Now your life and death are under my control. Will I be the judge?”

Zhao Yuan quivered but still howled angrily, “You blaspheme the nether world. You won’t…have a good ending. Ksitigarbha in the nether world won’t…let you go.”

The demon girl stated, “I don’t believe you. If there is Ksitigarbha in the nether world, you just tell him to come to me.” Nobody knew since when she had a pill in her fair-skinned hand. Zhao Yuan was about to curse, but when he opened his mouth, the demon girl threw the pill into his mouth. Big Devil had reached out a big hand to cover Zhao Yuan’s mouth and prevent him from spitting the pill out.

Seeing that, Yang Ning wondered if this demon girl would poison Zhao Yuan to death.

Zhao Yuan naturally felt that the demon girl had thrown a pill into his mouth and he struggled desperately, but Big Devil restrained him like a huge beast, and Zhao Yuan couldn’t escape or spit out the pill. In an instant, Big Devil loosened his hand, and Zhao Yuan spat twice but just spat out saliva, and the pill couldn’t be seen.

The demon girl giggled. “The pill will melt in the mouth soon. You can’t spit it out even if you want to.”

“Demon Girl, you…you will never be reborn,” Zhao Yuan cursed and then seemed to recite scriptures. “Be peaceful, endurable and unmoved like the earth. Consider quietly and deeply like a secret treasure. Ksitigarbha in the nether world…Ah ah…” His voice suddenly became hoarse and he couldn’t make a sound except “Ah”.

“Just play a ghost and talk nonsense.” The demon girl clapped and laughed. “Now you are dumb. I am going to see what else you can say.”

Yang Ning finally knew that the pill could make people unable to speak.

The demon girl just thought Zhao Yuan was talking rubbish, but Yang Ning felt that there was something hidden behind Zhao Yuan’s weird words.

Zhao Yuan led a group of people to control the old house of the Qi family, which was odd, and Yang Ning had guessed that there must be somebody behind the scenes. Otherwise, with only a few people’s strength, they didn’t dare to offend the family of the Marquis of Honor. Now it appeared that there was somebody behind Zhao Yuan undoubtedly, but who was it? Why would he take actions against the Qi family?

Zhao Yuan mentioned the Ksitigarbha in the nether world several times. Who was the Ksitigarbha?

But Zhao Yuan’s martial skills were unpresentable, and the Ksitigarbha in the nether world he mentioned might not be powerful. Probably they were just good at playing dirty tricks.

Unfortunately, the demon girl had made Zhao Yuan dumb with the pill. Otherwise, he might be able to force Zhao Yuan to reveal something useful.

The demon girl didn’t stay there but walked to the bamboo forest in the front directly, while Big Devil and Little Devil forced Yang Ning and the others to follow them.

Yang Ning secretly tried to check if he could release his hands. When he was trained in the previous life, he had been taught specially how to get rid of the ropes which tied him up. He tried several times and then knew that it was almost impossible. The rope which tied up his hands was not ordinary. It was solid and tough and could only be cut off with his sharp Cold Blade. Even the ordinary weapon might be unable to cut it.

He planned to find a chance to see if he could escape with the Easy Travel after his strength recovered. This demon girl was vicious, and he couldn’t be at her mercy all the time. If he had a chance, he could even take the opportunity and kidnap her. But this demon girl was smart and wasn’t easy to handle.

After they passed through the bamboo forest, the road became narrow on both sides. Then they walked for a while and it was open in the front. Suddenly he saw a pond. On the opposite bank of the pond, it was green with all kinds of flowers and grass. Yang Ning was surprised to see that and thought, “It’s almost winter and everything is withered, and even the trees on the mountain have fallen leaves or have been withered. Why are there fresh flowers and grass here?”

There were three thatched cottages not far away. He looked into the distance, and nobody was around.

Yang Ning thought, “It turns out that some people live here in the valley. The demon girl would ask somebody to detoxify us, and they must live here.” But he didn’t know what this demon girl was going to do.

They circled around the pond to the halfway point and came to the garden. Yang Ning found that the flowers and grass were in order with ditches, and the soil was wet. It seemed that they had just been watered.

The demon girl stared at the thatched cottages and suddenly made a gesture. Then Big Devil waved the three-tined fork and wiped the flowers and grass in the garden. He had powerful strength and when he wiped with the three-tined fork, the flowers and grass were broken and flew everywhere. He ruined many plants at one blow but didn’t plan to stop. He just moved it back and forth.

Yang Ning frowned and wondered what the demon girl was doing. She came here and didn’t see anybody, but she wanted to destroy somebody else’s garden.

He could see that the flowers and grass were not ordinary and somebody must have planted them with care.

At the moment, Yang Ning heard the chirps and then saw a shadow rush out from aside all of a sudden and pounce on Big Devil rapidly. Before Yang Ning could see clearly what it was, he heard Big Devil’s low roars. He checked carefully and noticed that a monkey with white hair all over its body squatted on Big Devil’s shoulder and scratched his head randomly. With chirps, it looked furious.

The monkey with white hair was not big but moved fast. It scratched with its claws and had torn down the Big Devil’s headcloth. His bare head was revealed.

Big Devil had yellow hair on his face, but there was no hair on his head.

Big Devil had thrown away the three-tined fork and reached out two hands, trying to catch the monkey on his shoulder. The monkey reacted quite quickly. Before Big Devil’s hand reached it, it had moved downward and ran to his back. It scratched his back aimlessly. In the blink of an eye, it had torn off the clothes on his back and left blood stains there.

Big Devil was tall, but he was not slow. He waved his hands in the front and at the back, but unfortunately, he couldn’t catch up with the monkey, so he jumped up and down in anxiety.

At this time, Yang Ning heard the quacks. He raised his head, to see a shadow show up in the sky. He knew that it was Black Lightning at a glance, which roared and came with lightning speed.

The demon girl chuckled. “Black Lightning, scratch this monkey’s eyes to blind it.”

Black Lightning came down from the sky. In an instant, its two sharp claws tried to scratch the monkey on Big Devil’s body. Yang Ning looked serious. Black Lightning’s claws were quite sharp, like hooks. If it caught the monkey, the latter would surely die.

When Black Lightning’s sharp claws were close to the monkey, the monkey turned over freely and dodged, so those claws scratched Big Devil. He roared as two pieces of flesh had been torn from his back.

Black Lightning didn’t hit the target but didn’t stop. It moved around Big Devil and came to his front, trying to catch the money again. The monkey just jumped here and there on Big Devil’s body. Black Lightning tried several times, but the monkey avoided it easily every time. Meanwhile, Black Lightning had torn many pieces of flesh from Big Devil’s body, and fresh blood was all over him.

Yang Ning had thought that with Black Lightning’s speed, the monkey might lose its life under the hawk’s claws in a flash. Unexpectedly, this monkey’s speed was not inferior to the hawk’s, and it was more nimble than Black Lightning. Monkeys were agile, and this monkey with white hair was much quicker than the ordinary ones obviously, and its skill to dodge was better than the others’.

Yang Ning was disgusted with the demon girl and hated Black Lightning. Seeing that the monkey teased Black Lightning and as a result, Big Devil roared in a low voice, Yang Ning felt happy involuntarily.

The demon girl looked cold and took out the small bamboo tube to put it beside her mouth. She seemed to attack the monkey surprisingly. Yang Ning saw that and thought this demon girl was so shameless. Big Devil and Black Lightning joined hands but couldn’t catch the monkey, but she still prepared to take actions. She just bullied the weak.

Suddenly a clear voice was heard. “Bai Ling, come here!” It came from beside Yang Ning.

Yang Ning looked in the direction of the voice, to see a lady dressed in cyan clothes standing not far away. She had a slender figure and her trouser legs were on the knees. Her skin was not as fair as the demon girl’s, but it was healthy and brown. Her legs were revealed, burly and plump, and her clothes were simple. She looked like a villager but was graceful and beautiful.
