Chapter 333: Season 2 Book 13, Chapter 6-2 Season 2 – Part 13 New Winds – 6-2 The 16th Typhoon
Beep beep beep beep~
The 1st platoon headquarters sentry system’s display started to ring and a camera installed on the outer wall turned in the direction of the moving black shadows.
The outer region of the forward base 300m in front of it was covered by a laser line invisible to the naked eye. The Iranian revolutionary guard’s special forces had triggered the lasers.
-Alert! Alert! Unknown armed forces are approaching the base!
-Alert! Alert! Unknown armed forces are approaching the base!
The alert systems and the sentries on duty alerted everyone within the base. The sleeping soldiers under the 1st reconnaissance platoon and the republic’s guard all got up and started to run to their positions.
The 1st reconnaissance platoon’s men, equipped with the latest gear, pointed their guns to the dark shadows coming from both directions and waited.
“Jesus, have they lost their damn minds?” Private First Class Gwak Young-hwan, who was in charge of post 3-2 between sector 3 and 4, mounted his KS3 and glanced at the shadows slowly crawling towards them with a pitiful look on his face as he spoke to Corporal Kim Sung-ho.
“Yeah. Those idiots. How could they attempt to infiltrate a Corean military base in the 21st century with a method used in the 1970s during the Vietnam War?” Corporal Kim Sung-ho, his superior, answered in a dismayed tone.
The special forces were completely unaware they were being watched by the forces waiting for them at the outer wall and carefully closed the distance.
“Regardless, I’m sending all these bastards back to god. How dare they interrupt your beauty sleep? I will show them not to mess with us, sir.”
“Haha, my ass. I’m sure you’re more pissed about you being woken up!”
“Sir! Don’t you know my priority is your well-being?”
“All right! All right. Get them all for me.”
While Private Gwak Young-hwan and Corporal Kim Sung-ho joked around with each other before the battle, the platoon commander’s orders came through the radio.
-All units, open fire at the unidentified armed forces. Over.
Numerous laser beams started to fly from the outer wall of the forward base after the platoon commander gave his order. The republic’s guards also fired their AK-47s. The white laser beams and tracer rounds from AK-47 rifles created a show of dancing lights.
Pew pew pew pew pew~
Bang bang bang bang! Bang bang bang bang! Bang! Bang!
The plasma smart grenades also joined in on the light works over the heads of the moving shadows.
Boom! Booooom!
The black shadows were pelted with bullets and laser beams when they were 250m away from the forward base. The revolutionary guard’s special forces all fell from the sudden attack.
Some of the special forces’ men took cover behind boulders or the craters and immediately retaliated. However, the plasma smart grenade danced above their heads like a guided missile and exploded.
The plasma smart grenade’s shrapnel fell on top of the revolutionary guards hidden behind their covers and turned them into Swiss cheese.
Soon, the gunfire stopped. The Iranian revolutionary guard’s special forces, who were now ambushed instead, started to flee for their lives. The front doors of the forward base opened, and the K-23P-M Hyun-mu armored vehicles 312 and 313 kicked up dust clouds and shot out. The armored vehicle was capable of driving at a speed of 100km and started to chase after the fleeing Iranian special forces while firing its remote-controlled 8mm laser Vulcan guns.
Pew pew pew pew pew! Pew pew pew pew pew!
The 6-barrelled 8mm laser Vulcan beams pierced through the fleeing Iranian special forces and they were torn to shreds.
Twenty minutes later, the battle was over and the forward base was surrounded by the bodies of Iranian special force soldiers, and some bodies were so severely marred that they couldn’t be identified.

Iran, Tehran, 11th province, the Russian Embassy in Iran
A few hours ago, Foreign Intelligence Unit 1 Team 1 got approval from Manager Lee Ja-sung to infiltrate the embassy. Team Leader Park Gi-oong and his agents all prepared to extract Ruslan Nigmatullin from the embassy and waited for the chance to strike.
When the X-C01 console’s display clock struck 01:00, Team Leader Park Gi-oong took a deep breath and looked at his agents.
“It’s time. You guys prepared the suit for the pig, right?”
“Yes, we have it in the backpack, sir,” Chief Youn Gil-soo pointed to the black bag on his back and answered Team Leader Park.
“Great! We’re going to take the pig quietly as planned. Don’t do anything unnecessary.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Great, check your equipment for the final time, and go into TCS mode if there aren’t any problems.”
The agents were already in their infiltration suits and checked over their equipment for the final time before activating the TCS mode to become invisible.
“Go!”
The agents all started to head towards the Russian Embassy at their designated routes under Team Leader Park Gi-oong’s orders.
Team Leader Park Gi-oong and his agents were in the infiltration suits undetectable by security, infrared, and thermal cameras. They activated the TCS mode, then started to climb over the Russian Embassy’s large walls swiftly and quietly.
The Russian Embassy grounds were a large forest full of infrared and thermal cameras, along with numerous motion detection sensors and guards. The issue was the watchdogs the guards took with them on patrol. The guards and the different security cameras could be fooled by their high-tech equipment, but hiding their scent was a different issue. Fooling a well-trained watchdog was especially difficult.
Team Leader Park Gi-oong and his agents watched the embassy grounds for hours to map out the guards and their dogs’ patrol routes.
Soon, Assistant Manager Yang and Chief Youn Gil-soo attempted to infiltrate the building from the 9 o’clock direction while avoiding the eyes of the guards. They succeeded in climbing up the C building’s roof where Director Ruslan Nigmatullin was staying by launching a sky wire.
-Assistant Manager Yang and Chief Youn have infiltrated the building’s roof. Chief Kang, prepared the getaway vehicle and stand by.
-The vehicle is at 100% power and ready to go. We can get out of here any time, sir.
-Okay, understood.
Assistant Managers Oh Suk-jin and Yang Jung-suk succeeded in opening the roof’s doors and reached the 5th floor’s hallway. Since it was late at night, it was empty.
-Hallway’s clear!
-Great, let’s go to the 3rd floor.
Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk and Chief Youn Gil-soo spoke to each other on the silent communication line and quietly walked down the hall while clinging to the wall. Then, they took the stairs to climb down to the 4th floor and reached the last room on the 3rd floor within a minute.
This was the room Director Ruslan Nigmatullin was staying in.
Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk pulled out the CS5 pistol and nodded. Chief Youn Gil-soo unlocked the door with his smart card and slowly opened it.
The living room was smaller than expected, and Assistant Manager Oh Suk-jin checked the door leading to the bedroom multiple times with his shield glasses. The door on the right led to Director Ruslan Nigmatullin’s bedroom. Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk pointed to the door.
Creeeeeak!
Director Ruslan Nigmatullin was sound asleep on the king-sized and snoring.
Chief Youn Gil-soo crept towards the bed and covered Director Ruslan Nigmatullin’s mouth and injected a small needle in his neck.
“Oof! Argh, who-who are-”
Director Ruslan Nigmatullin attempted to break free, but the injected serum soon made him unconscious and go limp.
-Let’s get him into the suit!”
Chief Youn Gil-soo pulled out the XL-sized infiltration suit inside his backpack and started to put it on Ruslan Nigmatullin’s limp body.
-Argh! This pig is fatter than we thought. The suit is too small for him, sir. Damn it.
-Let’s just shove him in there!
Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk and Chief Youn Gil-soo tugged and pulled at the suit to have it fit over Ruslan Nigmatullin’s large body.
-How is it going? – Team Leader Park Gi-oong, who was waiting outside the building, asked through the radio.
-Huff, huff, sir. We are putting the suit on him. We will get out of here as soon as we do.
-All right.
-How long had it been, a few minutes, perhaps?
The voice of the two agents came on the radio.
-Huff, Puff.
Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk and Chief Youn Gil-soo’s heavy breathing came on the radio from carrying Ruslan Nigmatullin’s limp 120kg body.
-Sir! Huff, we are at the front gate.
Team Leader Park Gi-oong, who had been standing by at the building’s gate, answered.
-Get out now! There’s no one at the gate.
Team Leader Park Gi-oong saw two men carrying a limp body through his shield glasses.
The final point was the embassy’s front gates.
-The watchdogs will be here in a few minutes. There’s not enough time. Just shoot straight to the door.
-Huff, huff, yes, sir.
There were four guards at the front gate. Two were at the sentry office while the other two were standing directly behind the gate.
Team Leader Park Gi-oong checked both sides, carefully snuck to the sentry post’s office, and knocked down the sentries nodding off.
Then, he walked over to the sentries standing behind the gate and struck one on the neck with his KS5 pistol, and kicked the other in the stomach.
The two sentries didn’t even have a chance to scream from the sudden attack and fell to the floor.
-Chief Kang! Move the car to the embassy gate.
-Yes, sir.
Vroooom!
Noise from a car’s engine starting came from not that far away. The door opened and Team Leader Park shouted on the communication line.
-We’re getting out of here. Run!
-Ah! Sir, huff, huff. I don’t think I can run carrying this heavy bastard.
-Use everything you got and run!
Assistant Manager Yang Jung-suk and Chief Youn Gil-soo waddled to the front gate with Director Ruslan Nigmatulin on their backs. Chief Kang Won-il parked the car at the front gate.
“Get on, hurry!”
The alarm started to sound from the embassy building, and lights started coming on.
Beeep! Beeep!
“We’re on. G-go!”
“Yes, sir.”

The South State, Seoul, Kangnam-ku, NIS building (the director’s office)
The recorded conversations and footage from the People’s Labor Party building by the ASC’s A and C Teams were directly reported to the department head, Youn Soo-gil, and it was then sent immediately to Director Lee Young-jin.
“They’re trying to pull off an absurd stunt,” Director Lee Young-jin, who was checking the edited footage from the full 4-hour video, muttered to himself.
“I was also shocked when I first heard their plans too, sir.”
“These bastards must have lost their minds after getting a taste of democracy.”
The content of Kim Jong-un’s meeting at the People’s Labor Party was as follows:
The party members planned to appoint Kim Jong-un as the party leader for him to have a political foothold, then have him be a candidate for the next presidential election. When elected, they planned to set the North State’s Pyeong-yang as the central government’s capital and have the political facilities move to the North State. In short, they wanted to take over the entire nation with the North Korean politicians.
They had spent the meeting setting a roadmap to have their goals come to fruition.
Based on the content of their meeting, they weren’t talking about anything illegal. Under democracy’s ideology, it was the norm. However, Kim Jong-un, a previous dictator, becoming Corea’s next party leader and a candidate for the presidency would cause chaos within Corean politics that acted as the protector of democracy.
