Seoul Jongro-ku, Bluehouse Press Room, 1st floor
“We have proof that the Sarin gas attacks that occurred in Ji-Ling was the work of the Japanese prime minister cabinet’s intelligence office disguised as Chinese soldiers with the intention to obstruct our victory. Not only that, but we also have found evidence that Japan had attempted to assassinate Vice President Kim Yeo-jung. Luckily their attempt failed and we have succeeded in capturing the culprit.”
“Also, we have obtained numerous statements and evidence from the culprit that the Abe government is behind this heinous act. What difference would Japan be from a terrorist nation after attempting such shameful crimes resembling the Pyeongyang terrorist bombing to disturb our nation’s wish of reunifying the nation, and lead our country into another civil war?”
At this moment, the citizens of Corea, and those of other nations were all in shock and horror after hearing President Suh Hyun-woo’s statement. The atrocious acts Japan had committed against Corea had been made completely public. Japan’s nature of being two-faced was being unveiled to the rest of the world.
“Therefore, as the president of Corea, I officially declare war against Japan at 24:00 hours today.”
The president stared at the camera directly and spoke his final words.
“Prime Minister Abe, you will have to kneel before the citizens of Corea when this is over.”
The president then relaxed his tense expression and bowed lightly after reading his public address. There was no time given for questions and the president left the press room immediately. When he did so, reporters from every press agency began to move about busily.
“Man! It’s as if a nuke went off, eh? Japan’s actions being made public is one thing, but declaring war against Japan only after a month has passed since the Chinese-Corean war was over…”
“Reporter Lee! There’s no time! Stop talking and send over the pictures you just took!”
“Ah! Yes, sir.”
The reporters from both Corea and overseas were all busy trying to write up and publish the report about the Japanese-Corean war first, so everyone was busy sending the pictures and documents back to their agency. At every major city in Corea, citizens poured out into the streets to protest against Japan and Abe for their atrocious acts.

Tokyo, Japan, Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office
Slam! Clang!
In the prime minister’s office, broken pieces of flower pots were strewn across the floor. Prime Minister Abe could not hold back his anger after seeing President Suh Hyun-woo’s national address and had swept off the flower pots on his desk.
“Prime minister, sir! What’s the matter?”
A secretary asked after he hurried into the room upon hearing the commotion.
“Call for an emergency meeting of all cabinet members, now!”
“Yes, sir! Understood.”
Prime Minister Abe’s eyes shifted rapidly left and right while breathing heavily.
“Suh Hyun-woo! I will make you realize how foolish you have acted and regret your decision!”

Tokyo, Japan, Prime Minister’s Cabinet Emergency Situation Center
It was 8 hours and 30 minutes before the war started. Government officials related to national security and numerous military commanders were in attendance.
“There are approximately 8 hours left before the war starts. Were preparations made for the expected attacks that Corea would make?”
When Prime Minister Abe asked in a slightly nervous tone, joint commander Masaki Hajime answered as if he had anticipated the question already.
“During the war against China, Corea used sudden ballistic and cruise missile attacks to destroy China’s main military encampments, radar, and anti-air bases. Then they continued the attack using bombers. They had followed the model strategy of modern warfare to the book. I am sure they will start the attack again with their ballistic and cruise missiles, sir.”
“What’s your solution for this? Please tell us.”
When Prime Minister Abe’s question continued, Commander Dakeshi of the air force stiffened his upper body and answered.
“Yes, across Japan, our air forces are operating 6 THAAD: Terminal High Altitude Area Defense forces while America is also operating 2 additional units in our territory as well. Please direct your attention to the screen.”
On the large screen installed at the center in the room, a digital map outlined the THAAD artillery forces locations and descriptions.
“Since America is unable to enter into war against their ally Corea, our nation is able to integrate the 2 THAAD artillery forces that America is operating into our own air force based on the Japanese-American military treaty. Thus, with 8 operational THAAD artillery forces, we are able to intercept a total of 384 missiles at high altitudes.”
“Besides these, there are 8 additional artillery forces equipped with N-SAM high altitude interception missiles that we deployed onto the field last year. These missiles are capable of intercepting 160 rounds at high altitudes. Therefore, our total interception capability is 544 missiles.”
“If we add the navy’s forces, then we are able to intercept 650 rounds using the high-altitude radars, and our terminal phase interception type AN/TPY-2 radar is able to detect ballistic missiles lifting off at 1000km in the atmosphere and accurately intercept them at 600km during its descent.”
“All ballistic missiles being launched from Corea are able to be detected during both their launch and descent.”
Japan was an island nation, so their route of invasion was from the sea and in the air. Japan’s self-defense force was once ranked 3rd in the world, and they had spent large amounts of capital on their anti-air forces. One reason was to defend against North Korea’s missile attacks, but another was to defend against China that held thousands of ballistic missiles.
Japan’s interception system that was capable of striking down 650 rounds of missiles nearly matched America or Russia.
“Very well. Then, what about the cruise missiles?”
“The cruise missiles are able to be fully detected with our early warning systems and numerous radars, and they are able to be intercepted with the type-03 SAM surface-to-air missile artillery forces and the SM-2 missiles on the numerous destroyer vessels.”
“Well, I am already relieved from hearing your words, Commander Dakeshi. That goes for our defenses, but aren’t we supposed to attack as well?”
After transitioning into a standard nation in 2015, Japan had begun to develop and manufacture offensive weapons such as the type-13A and type-13B cruise missiles each with a range of 800km and 1,200km. They also owned 200 ballistic J-ONE missiles that had a range of 1,000km.
“As soon as the war starts and the Corean military starts their ballistic and cruise missile attacks, we are planning to retaliate with our type-13A and type-13B cruise missiles and strike the Corean military’s radar bases and air force bases. Then we will strike Corea’s major cities such as Seoul and Busan using the Tomahawk block 3 and block 4 cruise missiles we have imported from America.”
“Great! Use all of our available firepower when making our first offensive to teach the arrogant Corean president a lesson. Also, use all of our naval forces to destroy the industrial complexes in the southern area.”
Prime Minister Abe gave the order to attack cities that could cause damages to civilians and expressed his anger that he held on to.
“Yes, prime minister, sir! We will accomplish the mission.”
Commander of the navy Murakawa answered curtly.

Chungbook Cheongju-si, 17th Fighter Wing Air Force Base
The world’s first CFS/A-31SP three-toed crow space fighter jet, was preparing for take-off along the lit runway in the pitch black, cloudy night.
The four three-toed crow space fighter jets finished their take-off preparations a moment later, then they disappeared into the black sky after emitting blue flames from its four powerful plasma engines. The four space jets reached a speed of Mach 18 in a short period. Ignoring the gravitational pull of the earth, they left the atmosphere and reached an altitude of 1000km in a few minutes and continued their flight into space.
In the dark void of space, the billions of glittering stars and the blue planet could be seen. The pilots of the jets had seen it numerous times before, but still could not help but be mesmerized by the scene.
-This is Crow 1. Crow 2, 3, and 4, move to your destinations and check your coordinates for each target with the Apollo 2 satellite once more. Over and out!
Lieutenant Colonel Lee Doo-ho, the flight wing leader of the three-toed crow gave the order through the communication line. Soon, responses from every main pilot came through.
-Crow 2, copy that.
-Crow 3, copy that.
-Crow 4, copy that.
A week ago, the reconnaissance satellites 1, 2, and 3 had conducted a thorough analysis of Japan’s entire territory. Based on the analysis, the targets were set to be the THAAD artillery bases tasked with intercepting ballistic missiles. These coordinates were relayed in real-time to the three-toed crow flight wing.

Seoul Jongro-ku, Bluehouse National Emergency Center Underground Bunker
President Suh Hyun-woo was back at the national emergency center after a month. The war with Japan was about to begin. However, the president was not as tense and nervous as he was before the start of the war against China. He was relaxed and seemed to be in good health as well.
“Mr. President! The three-toed crow space fighter jets have reached the altitude of 1,200km and are on standby.”
Minister Kang Hyun-soo, who received a phone call from somewhere, came up to the president and spoke quietly.
“Is that so? Things are going smoothly then. I feel different compared to the start of the war against China.”
“In what way, sir?”
“How should I put this? I feel as if a huge weight is about to be lifted off of my shoulders. Would that make sense?”
“Sir? Ha ha ha, you are too good with words.”
“Ha ha, that’s just how I feel.”
As the president was taking some time to joke around with the Minister of National Defense, the large screen at the center of the room showed the time to be 23:45, and a large digital map showing the entire area of Corea and Japan was being displayed. At Japan’s landscapes, numerous “X” marks were everywhere. These marked the targets the three-toed crow space fighter jets were to attack that were being sent out by the Apollo reconnaissance missiles at real-time.
Soon the digital clock on the right-hand side of the screen struck 24:00 hours. It was midnight; the war against Japan had officially started.
“So, it begins…”
The president spoke quietly and directed his gaze to the digital map outlining Japan.

1,200km in the atmosphere, the void of space above Japan
Above the space atmosphere, the four CFS/A-31SP three-toed crow space fighter jets all opened up their internal pairings containing their weapons. They all fired four rounds of Zinog missiles and six Epirus missiles to their allotted targets. Only two minutes had passed since the war began and 16 Zinog missiles and 24 Epirus missiles were falling at frightening speeds across every area in Japan.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Each missile used its thrusters and gravity while making its descent to reach speeds of Mach 40. They fell while turning scarlet from friction and emitting flames. The missiles had accurately reached their targets within 2 minutes despite falling from a distance of 1,200km.
Booooooom!
The Epirus missiles exploded 1km above the atmosphere and emitted an extremely bright light across all directions. The shockwave spread to the outer areas in the form of a ripple.
Woosh~ Peeeeew~
When the supersonic shockwave spread over a radius of 10km, the lights in the entire area went out, and everything went dark. Then, large explosions could be heard from the ground along with earthquakes that tore the earth apart. The Zinog plasma cluster bombs that used its momentum to dig through the earth by dozens of meters had gone off.
The landscape within a 5km radius of the explosions all rose up unevenly, and crimson flames began to shoot up while dancing wildly. The 3rd THAAD artillery unit under Japan’s 1st anti-air force that was unfortunately targeted by the Zinog missiles melted from the flames without a trace.
